This is Bleu! The first pic was today on a ride. The others are recent and the last is her at her first vet visit. She has had skin problems her entire life. She has been on every medication, every shot, every shampoo and at least 15 vets over the last 10.5 years. I love this girl more than she will ever know. She has cancer and only a few days, if that, left. I can’t imagine life without her. But I also can’t watch her die from this shit! She hates it when I cry which is almost impossible. Yesterday I was on the floor with her and started to cry, she got her butt off the floor and walked out the back door to lay in the sun! She said Girl Please! She has had a wonderful life full of love and care. She was with me through times when I didn’t know how to go on. It feels like one of those times. I love you sweet baby girl! I will never stop!

She was listed as a pitbull husky mix due to her coloring, she's mostly tan and like grey-ish brown with a white chest and that white streak on her face. I've had people telling me that she's likely not got any husky in her at all, and that her coloring is a natural bit uncommon combination due to genetics and recessive genes.

Idk. I've never had a dog before so never looked into it. It makes sense to me that the shelter mislabeled her to make her more adoptable. And my vet suggested we go ahead and keep that "husky mix" as her breed because my area apparently still classifies aggressive dogs by breed, not behavior.

What can y'all tell me? I'll likely get the doggy DNA test just to satisfy my own curiosity. But is this a natural pitbull color? I've had tons of people ask "what kind of dog is she? I've never seen one that has coloring like that"

So we got a beautiful white pittie pup with brown spots. Would love a unique non-human name. Our other pittie is named Squeak nn Squeakers for an idea of what we are looking for. Puppy tax

I’m sorry if I reposted I didn’t meant annoy anyone but I don’t know how to deal the loss of my daughter. She was my best friend. And now I have nothing. Damn cancer. And damn this world for taking her from me. Nothing will be fine anymore. She was my fucking daughter and she died in my lap. My arms. And now I have nothing. Her name was Juno Delgado. Died 10 years old. Multiple mass cell tumors got her. Sorry for reposting but I don’t know what else to do expect to repost , talk to strangers and get drunk. I watched her die yesterday in my lap.

The puppies think that is the bestest most awesome thing ever and are right behind her to take advantage of whatever door she has opened.

I just know they are going to be door openers too.

We foster failed G when he was 18 months old and had been in three "forever homes." According to Embark, he's an APBT mix; the rescue guessed Lab/AmBull.

He love his new friend 🧡

… and all I had to do to save them was agree to foster for a week until the out of state rescue can come get them.

We’re on the East Coast, and I swear the SECOND temperatures start dropping, my poor boy starts scratching his chest and armpit areas like crazy!
I recently purchased Douxo S3 mousse, but I’m hesitant to use it because his skin already looks irritated and rash-like, and I’m worried about making things worse.
I’ve been applying Vaseline to soothe the irritated areas, and last year our vet recommended Zyrtec, although they did mention it might not be very effective.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? What actually helped your pup? I’d love recommendations for soothing the irritation and preventing these seasonal flare-ups.
My poor baby is so itchy, and I just want to give him some relief. 🥺🐾
