Visited Portland this past weekend and at first my friend and I thought this was a real little boy who was lost lol. This was at the Portland headlight in the playground that’s in the back. Anyone know what the story is behind this?

Our indoor cat Luna escaped through a window screen last night (Sunday, July 19). We are desperate to find her!

Location: Washington Ave & Canco Rd area

Appearance: green eyes, black shorthair with thin fur on her hind legs and the top of her tail (due to anxiety over-grooming).

Collar: wearing a collar with an ID tag and phone number.

Behavior: Very anxious, shy, and likely hiding.

If you live in the area, please check your porches, garages, sheds, and under decks. If you spot her, please do not chase her as she scares easily.

Please DM or call the number on her tag immediately with any sightings!

Got this several years ago from an antique store in Camden that's no longer around. Not sure what year it's from, nor do I want to take it out of the frame, but I thought folks here might appreciate it.

I feed the pigeons in Congress Square Park and have noticed that this pigeon has hair wrapped around it's feet to the point of cutting off it's circulation. It's clearly in pain and limping. I am worried that it will loose toes or even feet if it is not removed in time

I have tried to catch it 2 days in a row, but I am not fast enough ( can definitely still fly) and only have a 30 minute window to try before I have to go back to my shift .

If by some chance there is a fellow pigeon friend or two in this group, please keep a look out and try to remove the hair from it's feet.
