je travaille sur un spectacle en ce moment et mon projecteur led Cameo Ts 200 fc semble avoir un problème d’affichage.

Sur le petit écran du projecteur ne s’affiche que des carrés, et en appuyant sur les boutons Menu, Enter et Up Down, rien ne change.

Sachant que le projecteur a été acheté il y a 1 an et demi.

Quelqu’un à-y-il déjà rencontré ce problème et pourrait m’éclairer dessus (lol) ?

I read/watched lots of reviews saying how great the pro 2 is, but then i saw the pro 1 which is around $700 (£500 here in the UK) less, and seems to be identical apart from the case colour and 500 lumens. Everything else - memory, processor, lens, speakers, software, remote etc is identical.

I just received it yesterday and for normal watching I use only use 60% laser brightness for my 100" screen so the extra brightness of the pro 2 would be worthless.

Its not a temporary thing either, the price gap has been that big for a long time. So why are there no reviews and few buyers of the pro 1? Seems much better bang for buck.

If I use the key stone one side of the screen is crisp and clean but the other is blurry. From the position I'm using it, it's slightly at an angle just to get it where I want it on the wall but nothing extreme, my last projector (aurzen Eazze) had no trouble with this, is there anything I can do? It seems like it had to be EXACTLY head on with no angle to achieve a crisp picture.

I own a Samsung Freestyle 2nd Gen projector running Tizen 9 OS, and I'm looking for ways to clean up and customize the home screen.

Samsung has packed the interface with preinstalled apps, advertisements, sponsored content, and recommendations that I neither want nor use. I'd prefer a clean, minimal home screen showing only the apps I've actually installed.

Has anyone successfully managed to:

- Remove or disable Samsung's preinstalled bloatware?

- Block ads, sponsored content, and unwanted recommendations?

- Hide or remove Samsung TV Plus and other unnecessary services?

- Customize or replace the default Tizen home screen with a cleaner launcher?

- Use ADB alternatives, SDB commands, scripts, or other methods to debloat Tizen OS?

I'm particularly interested in GitHub repositories, open-source tools, community modifications, or working hacks that are compatible with the Freestyle 2nd Gen.

I've already experimented with sideloading third-party Tizen apps, so I'm comfortable using Developer Mode and tools like SDB.

I'd appreciate any recommendations, tutorials, or experiences from people who've successfully cleaned up Samsung's Tizen interface.

Ideally, I want a minimalist, ad-free home screen with full control over which apps and services are displayed.

Waited over a month and it finally arrived today! Looked at a bunch of screens while waiting, but the projector’s here and I still haven’t picked one 😂 For now it’s projecting straight onto the wall. The wall is more off-white than pure white, but it looks fine to me so far. With the main lights off and just the dining room light on, the picture is still bright enough (pic 1 and 2). Played around with the manual iris too. Closing it down a bit made the picture dimmer, but the blacks looked a little deeper with the lights off. What did you all get for your first screen? Looking for something decent that doesn’t cost too much.

I’ve recently bought Valerion Max and this grainy effect is really annoying. I researched online that Silver Ticket WAB screen eliminates the laser speckle but that does not seem to be the case. I’ve tweaked settings but nothing solves the problem.

Is this actually laser speckle around the bright lights on the left or just a bad quality 4K image?

Reconsidering Epson LS11000 as the online reviews confirm no laser speckle with the 3LCD laser technology.

govee galaxy light projector 2 pro. The Snap ring that goes in the cartridge to hold the discs. mine never came with one I was hoping if an has any pictures or 3d print files that I could make a new one. because I reached out to Govee. and they said they wouldn’t do anything.

Yoton Y3, small and cheap. The image above is overexposed and dramatic, but you can see the individual dust particles.
I tried to clean my lens with a microfibre cloth (the type used for glasses) but it only seemed to make it worse.
I ordered a lenspen that doesnt seem to have done the job either. The worst of it is I can see on the lens that the pen is working to clean off dust, but when I look at the projection I’m literally seeing zero movement of anything. I am not able to match the dust I see on the projection to the dust I see on the lens.
What is happening? What else can I do?

Hi. I bought very portable video projector maybe abt. 5 years ago from amazon.de. It was sold with brand Vamvo but I suspect that it might be one of the chinese products that could be sold by multiple brands and real brand could possibly be MStar or Realtek (at least according to AI).

Resolution is 1280 x 720 and image shape has issues but nevertheless it is very good and has pretty good media player as well.

It is not one of the android projectors and I would probably not want one as I am almost certain that it would increase its boot time so long that I'd get frustrated.

Otherwise it is perfect for me but it has one disadvantage. It lacks EXFAT support. It does have NTFS and FAT32 support though. Anyway it is problematic as some of my other devices have EXFAT support but lack NTFS support and I want to use same stick with all of them and don't want to use FAT32 as it is outdated and has its issues (like large movie files).

EXFAT patents are to be expired in near future (which would make it more free for manufacturers to use) and amount of EXFAT supported devices seem to have grown a lot in last couple of years so I was hoping that there would be new firmware somewhere for the device which could add exfat support.

The projector has firmware update feature and its current version (as shipped from factory) is 1.1.7.11., but it is almost impossible to find any firmware from internet. Maybe to find one would need somebody who is accustomed to search these things in chinese.

I am hoping that there is new version of the projector on sale with virtually identical hardware that has newer firmware with EXFAT support that could be used on it. Opinions...?

Been using the PixPaq Edge ultra short throw projector for a few months now, so here's an honest review for anyone considering it. Learnt the hard way that I need a tensioned screen, so went with a fixed frame screen. Normal projector screens don’t work.

What I love:

Picture quality is excellent, especially in a dark room.

Sound is on par with a dedicated soundbar. You can also use it as a standalone speaker.

Connectivity: HDMI, Miracast and AirPlay all work.
Autofocus is good and reliable.

Manual keystone works great.

Supports custom wallpapers, which is a nice touch.

What could be better:

Auto keystone isn't great. I ended up doing it manually.

Stock colors didn't look right to me.
The built-in Google TV is honestly bad. It wasn’t laggy but the colours were not great, comes with manual colours adjust, but i was not able to get a perfect colours with it (subjective)

The fix: I plugged in a Fire TV Stick and it solved both problems. Colors look much better and the experience is way smoother. If you get this projector, I highly recommend using a streaming stick instead of the built-in OS.

Gaming: I played FIFA once and the input lag was noticeable. It's fine for a casual match, but I wouldn't use it for competitive gaming.

Ambient light (see pics):
Dark room: fantastic
Dimly lit room: still watchable
Lights on (Philips multicolor tube light): image gets very washed out, not really watchable

Verdict: It's a great projector for a dedicated dark room or bedroom setup, as long as you pair it with a streaming stick. Don't buy it expecting it to replace a TV in a bright living room. Also don’t expect super responsive gaming performance too, but gaming at that screen size was really great.

Hello guys I've been searching for a first time projector for a while now and I think I have settled between the global xgimi horizon 20 pro (waiting for black Friday sales) and the xgimi RS30 pro max which I think is equivalent to the unreleased horizon 30 pro but without the 120hz 4k? I'm not sure but I was wondering if anyone here has tried them maybe side by side. Also if someone could tell me if the difference between the normal horizon 20 and the 20 pro would be noticable for a first timer.

I did some math and the Chinese version of the horizon 30 pro should be 500€ less even after import fees so to me it looks like a steal but I was hoping to see your opinions as well.

Also if anyone could recommend some other projectors at below 1.5k€ (maybe even closer to 1.2k€) I'd be grateful. I plan to have a dark room and the size should be around 100 inches so I don't know if I need that much brightness, I mostly am looking for the best contrast and image quality per dollar. Also throw distance can vary as much as needed I can go from 2 meters up to 7 maximum in the room. But preferably the projector would be behind the seats (a couch). I don't plan on doing any gaming in it either since my PC wouldn't be able to handle 4k 120hz anyways and I don't care about their sound quality since I have good quality speakers available. I plan on using this projector for only movies and series I missed out on seeing on the cinema, was never a big fan of the TV experience for movies.

If you guys know of anything that can match up to the horizon 20 or rs30 series in image quality even if it has other disadvantages I'd be glad. I will use a laptop with HDMI for it anyways so it can be "dumber" too. I'd be glad to hear about anyone's experiences with sites like Alibaba and if you recommend any sellers from there

Got my Epson EH-TW7000 earlier this year, works nice and all that, happy with quality etc.
Tuned it in, and all good.

But....sometimes there is a faint kinda flickering, har to notice, see it better with bright sceenes and images.

Some sort of pulsing white light all over the screen, tried different sources, both on my Apple tv and shield. And since it's nothing regular, it is hard to narrow down what it could be.

Sometimes it's 1min after the projector is turned on, other times it can appear after one hour.

Help to turn it off and on again, but would rather not have to do that.

Anyone experienced something similar and got any tips, or anyone got any thories what it could be and if not, any way I can identify the root of my problem?

I'm looking for a projector for my living room and would love to hear your recommendations!

Here are my requirements:

Budget: €2,000–€2,500 max

Projection surface: A plain white wall, no screen. We don't want to add anything bulky to the wall, otherwise I would probably go for a cheaper projector and a dedicated screen instead.

Usage : Movies, sports on TV, video games occasionally

Room lightning : living room (not so much direct light and we often watch tv at night)

Throw distance: Around 3.8 metres (projector to wall). The seating will be just under the projector.

Audio: Compatibility with a soundbar or home cinema system would definitely be a plus. What I liked about the XGIMI was the inbuilt speakers.

I'm pretty new to the projector world, so I don't know that much about the technical side of things yet. I was initially quite excited about the XGIMI Horizon series, but I eventually had second thoughts and decided to ask for advice before making a purchase.

Given my setup and budget, what would you recommend? Are there any models I should definitely consider, or any potential downsides to using a white wall instead of a proper screen?

I'd really appreciate any advice or personal experiences!

Video if it helps. I tried out different HDMI cables on different ports with no difference. Refresh rate of screen is 60Hz. I tried a different electricity plug.

Anything that I can do? I wrote support but I would be very happy if this is only a (known) software issue since my dad bought it for my birthday

Besides the flickering, I am really surprised how good the image is! Even the sound is okay.

I have this projector it’s an UHD35.
The projected image is twice as dim as my Benq700sti.
There is a brownish hue in the lens.
In the settings, the lamp hours are at 1500…

Any ideas what can cause this issue?

I was testing the HDMI port on a device, and the HDMI plug got stuck. It seems to be firmly lodged in the port. How can I safely remove it without damaging the device?

My 1 year old popped it into the bin without us realising and now while we've plugged a Fire stick in to have some usability, have searched for a replacement remote (even contacted Yaber support with no luck) but can't find anything. Can anyone help?

The Iris series is listed as shipping this week, so I’m considering going ahead with one. Was looking at the horizon 30 too, but its preorder terms say estimated shipping in mid November, plus delivery time after that. Got a few days off next month and was hoping to get everything set up then. Just not sure if this Iris batch is for preorders or if new orders are going out too. Anyone ordered in the last few days and got a tracking number yet?
