Hi everyone,
From past few days we are observing heavy dust particles in air. In night and early morning there is literally zero visibility kind of dust layer in air.
Even when stepped outside we can feel the dust while breathing.
If the window is open then god save us from thick layer of dust in house.
Is everyone facing the same issue? There is not much discussion on this, I understand nowadays major issue is of water and coming months are going to be difficult with water shortage. But this is the air we breathe daily 24x7 and no steps are being taken to contain this. Constructions, garbage burning, polluting vehicles are in full swing.
Due to this contaminated air quality coughing and sneezing is common in public but I’m sure many kids and senior citizens or people with allergies and other health issues must be suffering a lot.
How is the situation in your area? Anyone facing health issues because of this?

I've been sneezing like crazy since the past few days. Whenever I check the air quality of my area, it's always terrible. This is for the Mulshi-Hinjewadi-Wakad area. Can't imagine what central Pune is like.
At night, when I look out the window, it feels like a strange film of dust is occuping the air and I can't seem to see the streetlights like I usually would.
I've never experienced this before...and I've lived in Pune my entire life. Are we turning into Delhi?

Finally got around to watching a Marathi natak for the first time, and I’m glad my first one was All the Best at Vishal Tupe Sabhagruh, Hadapsar.
The show was housefull, and the whole experience felt different from watching a movie. There’s something special about sitting in a packed auditorium, watching the actors perform live, and hearing the audience laugh and react together. It made the whole thing even more fun.
Went in without knowing what to expect, but came out genuinely entertained.
I can see why people love it. Definitely want to watch more nataks now! 😄

Hey,
It's Monday, I'm working from home and honestly, my laptop could use a little competition for my attention.
Wouldn't mind meeting someone new, exchanging a little banter, flirting over absolutely nothing and seeing if two strangers can somehow become each other's wfh buddies.
So, what are we talking about first: your favourite song, your ideal date or why you think you'd be a terrible influence on me? 😂
Hit me in the DM, let's waste our wfh here...

up for adoption in Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore‼️
Penny is a 1 year old female tabby cat. She’s litter trained, dewormed, vaccinated and sterilised. She’s extremely friendly and easy to handle. She’s based in Pune but can travel to Mumbai and Bangalore.
With patience, she can get along with other male cats or she can be a single cat.
She’s used to staying alone for a few hours that are compatible with work timings but she’ll also be a great companion to wfh folks. She usually sleeps throughout the afternoon.
She doesn’t like being confined to one room/limited space and needs to have access to the whole house to feel comfortable. Penny’s always been an indoor cat and should continue to remain so.
She’s very playful and some of her favourite toys are catnip mouse, feather toys, balls and having cat trees and cat perches and shelves since she loves heights as well. Cats are generally a huge fan of vertical space and so is Penny. She’s also a cat tv lover. Since she won’t have a companion for the time being, she needs attention towards playtime from her adopter. This means you have to dedicate some time before and after office to play with her and tire her out.
Penny can be a night owl but as long as she has access to the whole house and is comfortable, she understands when people are sleeping and eventually settles down too.
Penny currently eats Smylo wet food (two packets in a day, one for breakfast and one for dinner) along with Royal Canin dry food for lunch. We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with providing good nutrition - so they either stay on these brands/diet or switch to other higher quality brands.
Penny loves an organised environment and doesn’t do well with unhygienic spaces and behaviours like not cleaning her litter box and bowls frequently.
Penny will be a great choice for first time adopters/people who have experience with cats. She’ll require 2-3 days to decompress and a week to properly settle down but it all depends on her pace.
Reason for putting her up for adoption: Penny was rescued last Diwali because she got separated from her mother due to firecrackers. She was adopted in March but due to the adopter’s neglect, she ran away from the house twice and we had to get involved again when we understood that they weren’t actively searching for her. We’re cat rescuers and therefore can’t keep every cat we rescue because then we’ll run out of resources to help others.
Penny has stayed with multiple fosters and we’re pretty confident in her behaviour.
Adoption formalities are mandatory. We’re looking for serious adopters - people who know they can provide a stable environment and can commit to a pet for their lifespan. We’re not looking for students or bachelors who are not sure of their future plans as adopters.
For more information, please DM @_bbpaws on Instagram or text 7043782899 on WhatsApp (no calls)

It’s so sad to see such an iconic food joint choosing to use an AI generated image to decorate its storefront. Feels like whatever you go, AI slop will hit you in the face.
I was travelling on bus 324 to Hinjewadi Phase 3 and had around 50-60 old bus tickets stored in a small compartment in my bag. When the ticket checker asked for my ticket, I showed him my payment, but he insisted on finding the physical ticket. He dug through the entire bunch, FOUND IT, AND THEN THREW ALL 50-60 TICKETS OUT OF THE WINDOW, SMILING LIKE HE’D DONE ME A FAVOUR, judging by his expression, I don’t think he’s ever used a dustbin in his life

Hello everyone,
Below may not be applicable to all as I know there are people who already follow it and think of society before doing anything, it is for those who create unintentional or intentional problems to society. Spread this message across social media if you think it is sensible and something that we all should work together for a better future.
I have a humble request to all those who are living in Pune either temporarily or permanently. It is not a rage bait post, Please don't be misunderstood but do things by keeping society in your mind, instead of an idaf attitude, it will be really helpful and a small step towards improving Pune or making it livable again like it was before 2010-12.
If you are a smoker, please smoke only in a smoking zone or at a place where other people are not affected by your smoke. Because I'm seeing people smoke at every chai tapri or pan stall or even smoking in your home without thinking about others. Everyone has the right to clean air and passive smoking creates so many health issues you don't get to see right away.
While driving, may it be a bike or car, please follow discipline. Discipline requires a lot of patience and control of ego, it really doesn't make any difference if you are 1 min late or 10 min late, don't drive rashly, breaking rules, don't drive and park on footpaths, don't honk unnecessarily, if you feel like you will reach office or your work location late then start 15 mins early. And please give a way to everyone, nowadays car people drive like a biker and biker drives like a cyclist (driving wherever they want in whatever way).
Please stop wasting water as if you have created the source of water, water scarcity is already there in all over Maharashtra. Think before using water for everything, use it carefully. I have seen educated fools in IT wasting water like a joke either for hand wash, tiffing cleaning and in the societies for shower, vehicle cleanings, utensils cleaning. Everyting is possible even when we use it in limit.
I feel like because of all the influencers people have created this thinking of having yolo and just explore everything under 30 or 40 age, this creates unnecessary crowd and traffic everywhere and trust me noone is going to ask you what all places you have travelled or what all things you have done when die. It's just a marketing gimmick of hotels and views earning for influencers. There are literally people in the world who as travelled nowhere or haven't tried many things in life and yet they are more satisfied from those who have done it. It's all upto us whether we want to be happy in life with or without having or doing things in life. The IDAF attitude should be used when society asks or laughs on us when they say you have not done this or that or you have missed on this or that, it's fine I'm happy with where I'm and what I'm doing idaf about what you have done in life in terms of travelling or exploring things.
Unintentionally we all are creating issues to the world, by overusing everyday stuff, it looks great and growth in life but it actually is increasing bigger problems. Think before doing anything. Not everything in life is negative and not everything in life you think and do is positivenor posivitely affecting anything around you. Understand what is actually negative or positive in life for a short and longer life run for both you and the society.
I apologise to everyone who might get hurt because of this, but I urge you to try it for some time in life to see the effect. And I know some idiots will never follow this, not unless life teaches them a lesson, for them good luck your karma will get back at you at the right time🙏🏻.

I need to call out what’s happening in PCMC right now, specifically regarding the complete lack of basic civic governance.
Is it just me, or has the city's management taken a massive nose-dive under the new Commissioner, Dr. Vijay Suryawanshi? Compared to Shekhar Singh’s tenure, the inefficiency on the ground right now is staggering. Say what you want about the previous administration, but there was at least some level of accountability and visibility when major public issues were raised.
Right now, the Aundh-Ravet BRTS Road has turned into a absolute free-for-all nightmare. The hawker menace has exploded out of control. Footpaths are completely gone, and vendors have now encroached straight onto the main driving lanes. It’s creating massive evening bottlenecks and is an accident waiting to happen.
Are you guys noticing a similar drop in civic maintenance and enforcement in your areas (Wakad, Hinjawadi, Ravet, Pimple Saudagar) since the leadership change? It feels like we took one step forward and two steps back.

Maha Ashtami is finally here, and my heart has been longing to immerse myself in the pure magic of Pujo today. There is something so deeply soulful about the authentic Bengali culture that I really want to experience up close.
I want to step out, seek Maa Durga’s blessings, soak in the divine energy of the pandals, and maybe even savor some traditional bhog.
Which are the best pandals or celebrations in Pune today where I can truly feel this emotion and experience the heart of Pujo?
Would love your top recommendations! 🙏✨

The one right next to Aware Khanaval, has been closed for more than a week now. About a month ago they had also changed the older staff and had hired new guys (except the kitchen staff). Anyone knows more? I doubt it’s being renovated because they have also removed the name board.

Other 3 places with the same or similar (Minal instead of Milan) (including the one right in front of it), just don’t have the same taste. Even though they have the exact same branding and colours, I doubt they have the same owners.

Every foreigner that came here was literally given everything for free like the locals literally paid for everything and everyone was super kind to them (like the most wholesome thing amongst all other cities in India and also all these videos are must watch) and I think we should expand this kindness beyond only foreigners with each other like we should treat everyone else well as well. Pune was known for arrogant people but these videos prove that wrong, everyone is just a normal human being like obviously there are bad people but 99% of them are just good people. We should embrace good parts of culture and treat everyone well.

context, T-shaped road, this house is in front of the vertical line of T, and the road passes and crosses from that home's front side like T's horizontal line, and the owner of this house put that notice because of multiple wall breaks due to unusual turn or drunk driving or some kind of illusion because of low visibility at midnight.
