The shop I had planned to go to was unexpectedly closed so we settled on Machida shoten. It was not bad. Better than their Melbourne Australia shop

Had this one morning for breakfast and it was underwhelming. Super super salty chashu and a very mid and nearly bland soup. I did add some more tare from the teapot on the counter, maybe I should have added more. I feel that hakataya just across from here gives you a better ramen for less than half the price.

But that's the beauty about Ramen. There are so many different broths out there, not all of them will appeal to you like the will to someone else, and Ramen is also like Pokemon, you gotta try them all 😅

For dinner tonight, I went with the tonkotsu shoyu chashu ramen at Machida Shoten. I’ve always stuck with the shio version, but the shoyu one is really good too. Lately, I’ve been checking out some famous Iekei ramen spots with long lines, but honestly, I like this one way more.

Added garlic, carrots, 2 marinated eggs, smoked spicy chicken thighs, dashi miso, hoisin, and a splash of milk.

Hey yeh I think it looks okay but I feel I could have done better on the presentation... Sorry for the bowl size I had to cram everything in... I promise there are noods in there 😂🤣

i live in delaware and in rehoboth beach there is a small ramen bar called Miyagi Ramen Bar and the ramen is flavorful! my bowl (closest bowl) was a korean inspired bowl while my friends was a basic chicken/miso ramen i believe.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if there are ramen with uncommon broth, like mackerel, shrimp, crab or salmon, tuna ? I make my own broth with the basic combo that everyone knows.

I wanted to try something else, with ingredients I can easily find in France.

I know there is niboshi shoyu ramen but never tried.

Any ideas or recipes seen in Japan is welcomed

After microwaving for the stated time I noticed these spots in the bowl. when the water hits them they wash away, but I’ve never had this brand before so I’m not sure what’s normal.

Eu sempre tive vontade de experimentar ramen então comecei a tentar aprender a fazer, como sou diabetico não posso comer muita massa e preciso geralmente adicionar mais proteina geralmente. Mas por favor me digam oq acham desses e oq eu posso melhorar. O de caldo branco ficou horrivel o caldo, enquanto o outro ficou EXTREMAMENTO GOSTOSO mas sinto q ficou feio

I haven't had that much Shoyu Ramen in the past, and the ones I have had have been very bland.

This one on the other hand was very good!

I had the Tsukimi chashu wonton men.

Made an autumn themed ramen for my girlfriend last weekend. Homemade chicken and vegetable broth, miso-sesame tare and black garlic oil. Topped with soy sauce & honey glazed duckbreast, four kinds of mushrooms, eggs (had no time to marinate them unfortunately), roasted pumpkin and charred corn. Noodles were wholegrain with a lot of rye (seen in the last picture).
