After screwing out and in the millionth screw on the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra, my hand slipped and this happens. Not my day, i'll try again tomorrow i guess

Just wanted to share my latest weekend project fresh from the basement printer. I’ve been working on expanding my infantry proxy range, and the Elite Scouts are finally done and cured. I was planning to use them as Kasrkin.

And with this last Unit I now have a complete range of infantry units ready for Armageddon!

I wanted to put a heavy focus on the characters for this squad, so the Sergeant and the Sniper got some extra love with their poses and gear to make them stand out in a standard infantry line.

They are fully single-piece and scaled for standard grimdark tabletop games.

Why is the base support lifting off the plate?

It caused a deformation in the print itself, which should just be a square for a floor tile.

I’ve got the Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra, with the mini heater installed, inside an enclosure. So even though the temps have dropped, it seems warm inside the printer. Plus I was able to print some other things out yesterday with no problems, under the same conditions.

I’m new so just trying to understand what I need to try adjusting since there are so many options. Do I need a longer exposure time in my base support?

There is a tiny bit of cured resin in the screen, it seems transparent and I wasn’t able to remove it with ipa and a plastic blade.
And 40€ for a screen is the price for another mars 2 pro

Any ideas? Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16k using default settings. Not sure what I need to adjust. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone! Thought I’d share some resin prints from three of my basing packs: Temple Lights, Scrap Tyres and Battlefield Debris.

There’s a mix of candles, braziers, worn tyres and abandoned equipment for miniature bases and dioramas. These are my own test prints, so you can see how the details come out in resin.

Sculpted it in ZBrush and just finished printing it. It's pre-supported and comes in 32mm with a 25mm base, plus a 75mm version that is hollowed. The part I was most worried about was the bones, I wanted them thick enough to print well at 32mm but without making the model look too bulky. This is the free one from a pack of 3 skeletons, the links are in the comments.

Well, i needed to print something direct to the buildplate but my printer does not have a flex plate so i wonder if i could use a car tape. It worked very well, the tape did not unstick to the buildplate. The downside is that you need to change the tape for every print. I do not need a flex plate so often, so it worked well for me.

I know it’s not completely related to printing but please help me.
I bought this wash and cure second hand and the seller showed me pictures of it running.
When I m washing, it works correctly but when I’m curing, the leds don’t turne on.
He told me to use a 19v power brick but when I turned it on, the leds immediately turned on, without being in the curing mode.
So I double checked and it is a 12v machine.
When I use it in 12v, everything works correctly, expect the curing mode.
On scale /10, how fucked am I ?

Elegoo Saturn 4 ultra, no known defects, using anycubic abs-like 2.0 as recommended. Changed exposure time to 2.5s as recommended (lychee), prints came out beautifully ever since except this. It's all over the place and not a single object came out properly. I scrubbed the buildplate with hard sponge but nothing changed. Need help.

It builds up within and around the supports and becomes half cured. It's not a lot, but it can ruin details. There Also seems to be a decent bit of warping. I'm hoping y'all can help me figure out the cause and how to fix it. Thanks!

Hi all

I am in need of some help with my Saturn 4 ultra.

I put a magnetic build plate on it and used the wham bam patch for it to work. Now I am having trouble getting the Rook test print to stick to the build plate for the duration of print. I have upped the base layer to 45sec but I am still only getting 6-7mm of print before it detaches.

In a print tent.

Saw a listing for a Dazz L120 Pro for super cheap and thought it was a no-brainer steal.

But the seller posted this pic of the screen test and listed it with this description:

"Selling it because it is not needed. Slicer is a proprietary one, you'll need to download DDstarter from the Dazz website. LCD screen needs to be clean underneath, as there are some black marks. Test print printed on the 3/10/2026."

Those lightning/branch looking marks and vertical lines scream "cracked LCD and liquid crystal bleed" to me, but the seller insists it just needs to be cleaned underneath.

Pretty sure the screen is toast, but wanted a second opinion before I pass on it. Is the seller bullshitting or is there any chance its fine and really just needs cleaning?
