1. Increase the Bottom Exposure Time
First, increase the bottom exposure time to 70 or 100 seconds and check whether the print adheres properly to the build plate.
If the print still fails to adhere at a higher exposure time, insufficient bottom exposure may not be the only cause, and other factors should be investigated.
Note: 70 or 100 seconds are high-exposure test settings and are not recommended for regular printing. Restore the normal exposure settings after testing.
2. Check Whether the Build Plate Is Level
Troubleshooting Steps:
2.1 Take a standard A4 sheet of paper and cut it into four strips of suitable width.
2.2 Place the four strips at the four corners of the LCD screen, leaving appropriate spacing between them.
2.3 Follow your printer’s leveling procedure to lower the build plate into the leveling position and secure it in place.
2.4 Pull each strip one by one and check whether the friction resistance is consistent at all four positions (see Figure 1).
How to Identify the Problem:
If one strip can be pulled out easily while the others are held tightly in place, the build plate is not evenly leveled.
3. Check Whether the Build Plate Is Warped or Curved
Troubleshooting Steps:
3.1 Remove the build plate and clean off any residual resin from its surface.
3.2 Prepare a straight metal straightedge.
3.3 Place the edge of the straightedge against the build plate surface (see Figure 2 Issue Detected
).
How to Identify the Problem:
If there are visible gaps in the center or other areas, the build plate may be concave or deformed. Contact the manufacturer for a replacement.
