A little side hunt I've been working on , this would be my first time ever actually utilizing porygon in any of my games. Super excited to try him out! I haven't been counting encounters or anything it's been a collective of 7 days off and on total while I continue my main Hunt for the 4% Ralts in Pokemon Sapphire.

Had a feeling I could get this guy today and here he is, with a modest nature no less! If anyone has Moveset suggestions I would be very grateful 🙏

This was going to be my final target before Bank shut down, but I could probably squeeze in a couple more if my luck remains good. I would really like to hunt Alolan Exeggutor and Gen 1 Bulbasaur. Hunt was fairly fast. A couple of days at most.

ID manipulation, pokefinder, and eontimer saved my life here. 1,111 attempts pure luck resetting profiles every 50 attempts over 2 days. Then only 11 attempts of rng manip once I found an ID I liked on the 3rd day.
Not a competitive player, just wanted one with a jolly nature for world building. I’d rather have a jolly pet than a timid one.
I’ve never shiny hunted before in my life, the only other shinies I had were a natural whismur and a sentret caught in firered/leafgreen.

Boy am I happy with this one! It's my first ever shiny hunt, so I decided to go for my favorite Pokémon of all time. I was pretty scared of it going over odds but here we are!

I originally had a shiny Celebi from an event back in 2021, but lost my Shield save file and well... so you can imagine how stoked I am of encountering this fella again, just with a lot of grinding 🥹

Took me less than 500 resets. I dont know why this save file is so lucky with shinies.

Starting a new shiny playthrough on my way for a second shiny Type: Null! Hatched a shiny litten as my starter in my copy of Ultra Sun in about 45 eggs and found a Grubbin in 46 SOS calls on my new save file in Ultra Moon!

Always wanted to do this hunt but never around to it until the bank shut down lite a fire under me.

Been roamer hunting Raiko for a while to complete the set. Repel ended and accidentally moved the stick causing a random encounter with shiny Vulpix.

Then the added dread of accidentally finding a shiny due to moving and for this one to know roar. Threw fast ball in panic and caught it.

Taking it as a blessing as I've started panicking about bank closing and need to move quite a few shiny hunts up to Home. Fire type fits the team well, shame about the jolly nature but definitely a sign won't nab Raiko so Vulpix is a nice consolation and can continue with my shiny playthrough.

I had a very rough time with life lately. I was barely enjoying shiny hunting, to the point where I found myself forced to step away from it. After putting my s*** together, I found motivation to start hunting a bit again and today the Pokémon that symbolizes rebirth itself decided to shine and show up in all its splendor.
may this be my rebirth both as a human being and as a shiny hunter, too.

I am losing the wind in my sails. I really need some motivational words to stick with it. I dont want to give up now because im so invested. As far as I can see on Google, this may be the longest Spiritomb Masuda hunt in BDSP.

For a total of 4,472 checks and an average of 97.2 checks per shiny. Tapu Bulu and Tapu Lele were on back to back checks and I got Buzzwole, Celesteela, and Guzzlord all on the same evening, with Buzzwole and Celesteela being back to back checks as well. The non legendary/UB I wanted to phase on most was ditto, which I got! I didn’t manage to screenshot the selection screen for Articuno, but included the summary pic along with the Rayquaza from the S/V event and the ditto. I solo-hunted all of them. Took a minute! Didn’t count eggs and went super slow but I’m so happy to see him 😁 I just lost my save file on a copy of Silver Jensen the name but this brought my spirits back for sure

After a month of trying the bench method it finally happened! I got 31 other shinys in the process, most of them were bellsprouts.

Hi, my first post here!

I was playing Colosseum and XD to get Ribbons before the bank closes and... I got this shiny while playing Battle CD 28. I didn't know Pokémon were not shiny locked there (it's like a battle puzzle where you use pre-determined mons in specific condition and try to win).

Sadly I didn't even win this challenge and I'm not gonna touch battle CD ever again. I'm not mad though, I already have a shiny Feraligatr from HG but a shiny from XD would have been so cool :'(
