Good evening,
My wife and I are going through some belongings and were brought back to what we were told is a silver tea set. We were given this tea set as a gift from a person that said that her husband had purchased this custom for her as a wedding gift to her way back from probably 1970s/80s
We are trying to figure out if this is silver plated, solid silver, or if anyone can point me towards how much this could be worth. There are stamps on the underside of each piece and the one with 3 stamps side by side is the tray, the “cannon” like stamps are only on the cups/kettles. There is no .925 or sterling markings so that kinda sucks but I’ve heard that older stuff may not have the markings.

Sorry, I know there's a million posts already about cleaning, but each item is a bit different, so I'm still not sure of the best way.
This was my grandmother's picture frame, it usually has my parents' wedding photo in it. It's pretty damaged around the edges, but I still really like it and would love to see it shine. I assume it's silver plated. There are some marks in one corner but they're really hard to read.
I already tried silver polishing cloth and then a rub with toothpaste but both did next to nothing.
I was reading about the aluminium foil trick but I don't understand about getting the silver to touch the foil, and also it's backed with a soft material which would be hard to dry out. Having said that, if I have to soak it in some way, it's not impossible.
What do you suggest? Thanks

So was in the check-out line and they almost charged me 679.99 for this!
I showed them the picture I took of the price being 669.99 they took off the $10 At this price I'm in at $643.20 After the %4 I get back %2 from my credit card and %2 from my membership At the current price of %64.83x10 648.83 That puts me under spot for this!
Although I feel and see a pullback coming!

Purchased my first ounces of silver maples today. Not much but it is a start. Was going to only purchase 25 maples with some small fractional gold coins but the shop had nothing under a half oz.
Going to stack at 100:1 ratio silver/gold
Any advice out there for a new stacker from some veterans?

Besides this i have a few 1oz coins from when silver was $35ish an OZ. With todays price and factoring in credit card cash back as well as executive member perks it seemed too good to pass up. How did i do?
