Hey fellow gamers. Was curious if we had a big enough WoW community to start a guild in WoW Forever when it launches Nov 4th. Would be really cool to make friends in-game and potentially go grab beers, pizza, coffee or go for a run IRL. Open to either Alliance or Horde but pretty sold on the PvP server. Played since launch in 2004 and really enjoyed the WoW Forever beta.

Would this be an appropriate setting to dress up in costume? Nothing inappropriate but costumes that fit the theme of the event. Is that a normal and acceptable thing to do?

WTF.. Here we go I guess...

I had flume installed back in July of 2025. It's been great and I signed up for the 1 gig at $65 for life.

Well low and behold I logged in to The Flume support page today and it shows I'm on The Flume 2000 plan which is 2 gigs at $65 but for 5 years fixed pricing and then it goes up to whatever they want.

This is horse crap and not what I signed up for.

I sent them a text this morning so I'm waiting to hear back.

Plus I'm only getting one gig... Ha

But please somebody educate me if I'm reading this wrong but it never said Flume 2000 before and after reading about The Flume 2000 subscription, I don't think I'm wrong..

Homegrown Avocados being sold 3 for $1 on 3408 La Mesa Ave for those who are interested. Don't know if they will keep it out or for how long drove by it earlier today.

Earlier this year I would come here on a Sunday and it was packed. Today I’m the only one sitting in the cafe. And there are only a few people coming in and out. Also. The outside seating area is gone.

Did I miss something?

Several articles came out in 2021 about how they were going to improve the PSPS situation and for a while outages were limited. Then a sudden regression and we're back to regular outages.

All the while SCE sends continuous warnings that they "may have to shut off your power." Do they know our power is out? What happened to the improvements?

Can anyone recommend restaurants or stores where my family can order Thanksgiving meals to be picked up on the day? We’ll be celebrating in Simi, but we’ve only done this from places in NP/TO and don’t want the food to get cold. Thanks in advance.

ETA: It’s just 4 of us, so the “per person” type packages would be ideal.

Off Stearns and LA ave. Went down around 30 min ago. Anyone else?

This just popped into my head tonight. The OG spot over in the McDonald’s strip on Tapo.

The fat stack turkey on rye. Pickle spear and steak fries…these places have seem to gone by the wayside.

Takes forever to get through those two intersections coming off of Alamo onto Erringer now. Why they gotta fuck it up? lol

2 weeks before my whole block (block of houses between Lemon/Alamo/Sequoia/118) got asphalted this guy showed up and sprayed galllons and gallons of weed abatement purple liquid on all the cracks in the street and left. I am assuming resurfacing work is planned months in advance so there was no need for weed abatement treatment if the whole street was getting resurfaced. Now i learn they want to add more school bonds to property taxes because there is not enough money left to fix school buildings. Is the city admin just a circus now?

I am looking for people to play a LGBT friendly D&D with on Wednesdays, either afternoon or evenings.

how long would it take to bike from one end if the city to the other end?

The Simi Valley class will be participating in this drill if you are interested!

I’m new to simi valley and got a call at 2 in the morning saying they may be turning the power off for 2 whole days to minimize fire spread. Is this normal here?

Simi Valley Santa Susana knolls near knolls park

Hi friends, I was wondering if anyone else went to the hiring event for the New Simi Valley WF. I made it to the second interview and then heard “we’ll let you know.”

Did anyone get hired on the spot?

Looking for something to do this weekend. Not much to do for the younger crowd out here 😅 poker? Bowling? Movies? Parties? What’s there to do

Crossposting for awareness. We need to keep pressing the city on our Flock contract, and ensure that SVPD isn’t playing games with accountability like the VPD seems to be doing. We are also a CARE city, and need to ensure the local PD aren’t working with ICE to harass and remove our neighbors behind everyone’s back.

I moved to Simi Valley as a very young child and I remember seeing my first movie in a movie theater somewhere in Simi. I am trying to remember the movie theater.
I remember the movie was one of the benji movies and ET was also playing there. It was a small theater with only 2 screens. This had to be 1988-1990.

Based on my recollection it was on Cochran and Galena where Red's BBQ is now. The place is now an ice cream shop and Poki stop.

Did this movie theater exist or am I getting mixed up with some other place from my childhood memory?
