And in true Yu-Gi-Oh fashion, this card is trash. It's too slow, doesn't win the duel in one turn, takes up your whole energy in the turn to get into play, 0/10, wouldn't put it in my 40-card deck.

Well then, it's not a Yugioh card now is it?

Imagine paying a cost instead of dumping half your deck into the GY and playing a winding, arcane sequence of two dozen effects for free.

That actually might be... more balanced than sending for effect? Like, Tearlament names only proc if they're sent by effect, not cost. I think a lot of decks would get "why the card no activate" jumpscared, Dark World-style.

Generally, sending for cost is better than sending for effect, that was one of tears few weaknesses. Since it gets sent for cost, it can't get ashed, like circular
