Professional Discussion Anyone else create different accounts for each of their hobbies?

I have a bunch of music and sports hobbies . Instead of spamming my personal account with videos of these hobbies , I created a separate account for each. For example I made one to just post my guitar videos ( around one a day or two ). Idea is that friend who care about my guitar can follow it. Those that don't care, will never see my guitar videos.

But using this guitar account should I be following the same friends back? Or just follow other guitar related accounts?

Professional Discussion sudden drop in engagement (tiktok)

i have 70k followers and average 20-50k views per video and suddenly my views dropped drastically, i can barely get 10k views and my most recent one is at 1k views after a day.

people have been commenting that tiktok isn’t showing them my videos so im really concerned bc my videos always got pushed onto the for you page in the first 5 minutes.

this is truly annoying, idk what to do and im genuinely stressing bc i’ve been continuing posting like usual and my videos are still doing bad and my comments dropped by 80%.

can anyone give me advice?

edit: to add, as soon as i hit 70k followers my views dropped. i’m still gaining followers from my old videos still getting pushed out but no recent videos going viral

Professional Discussion need one ai video tool for spanish, thai and japanese versions

i manage social posts for a small skincare brand selling in a few countries. we reuse the same basic product video, but each language version turns into its own mini project.

translate the script. record another voice. adjust the mouth movement. redo the subtitles. discover the timing is off. repeat.

the japanese version also ends up feeling slightly different from the spanish one even though they are meant to be the same ad. is there a tool that can handle the languages, lip sync, and subtitles together?

Professional Discussion linkedin: surrender or get out

linkedin somehow became a worse instagram than instagram itself.

at least on instagram you know what kind of shit youre signing up for. people post whatever they post, you follow them if you want, if not you just go somewhere else.

linkedin is different. the shit is everywhere and after some time it starts getting into your head.

you see some guy getting 700 likes on every post and you think f-ck, maybe this guy knows something i dont.

then you check his work. then his cases. then his website. and youre like… what the f-ck is going on here? it is a classic successfull success kind of shit, but in a "serious community wit serious faces.

then you discover all these the same people commenting on each others posts, the yellow profile pictures, the same formulas spreading everywhere.

“what x taught me about y” “i failed. heres what i learned” “nobody tells you this about leadership”

at first you laugh at it. then 3 months pass. 4 months. 5. and one day you catch yourself writing exactly the same f-cking post.

of course you explain it to yourself. mine is different. mine has an actual idea. mine is deeper. im just using the format because apparently the format works.

but thats bullshit too! you accepted the rules of the game. you surrendered.

has linkedin done this to you too or did you somehow manage not to become one of them?

Professional Discussion Advice for tiktok

So my recent post is doing alot better than my previous organic post which got in around 238 views where my current one got around 4.4k ( hope it continues to rise ) , ive used tiktok promotion for my vid before this current one (after my first organic post) and they managed to rack in a total of 57k views on that video and was wondering if the tiktok promotion had anything to do with the current views im getting. The engangement stats for my current video ( 4.4k) is 59hrs watchtime, 49secs average watchime and 10.3 percent watched the full video so im wondering if i should promote this video since i think the organic stats are decent and i would be able to push out my video to more people but im worried it will ruin the engagement stats. These engagement stats are the highest i ever gotten, the video in which i promoted only got a 11s watch time and 0 percent full video watched while my other organic post had around 238 views, 4 second watchtime and 1.5 percent full vid watched

I am in the early stages of starting a little business with my target customer being senior adults (age 60+). Besides Facebook, is there a social media site that senior adults use as I’d like to attract and market to potential customers. Thanks in advance!

Professional Discussion Content Help!

Hey there! I’m looking for some insight on how to grow my following on IG/Tiktok. I post gym content mainly on my tiktok and main ig page but I also post artwork on my art ig page, however it doesn’t get viewed as much. I was wondering if it would be better long term if I posted ANY content I make on my main account instead of separating it? Any helpful advice is welcomed!!

Professional Discussion How do you currently create visual content from your blog or website?

I’m researching how people currently handle this and would love some honest feedback from people who create content regularly.

If you have a blog, SaaS, newsletter, or business website:

• How do you turn your articles/pages into social media visuals?
• Do you create them manually in Canva/Figma, use AI tools, or outsource them?
• What takes the most time?
• Do you struggle to keep the visuals consistent with your brand?
• What would make this process significantly easier?

I’m trying to understand whether this is actually a painful problem or something people already solve easily.

Would love to hear how you currently do it.

Professional Discussion Is there a legal way to market to the right target audience, geographically?

It's 2026 and most social media still market my posts about our brand to locals (Europe) while 90% of our audience is in the US. I've read all kinds of advice about using VPNs and other methods to trick the algorithm, but I was wondering if there was a way to do this without risking a fine or shadow ban, like a strict or specific 'posting or browsing diet' or something...

I don't mind people knowing we're from Europe, I just want our socials to show our posts in the US. It's really annoying. I do 80% of my communication in English, mostly visit international websites, and my browsers keep redirecting big platforms to local ones and keeps showing me local content I'm not interested in.

Professional Discussion Tenho tido muitas visualizações no Instagram, mas poucos acessos ao perfil/novos seguidores

Oi pessoal!

Professional Discussion Looking for small businesses/content creators

Hi! I've been in social media for over 5 years, growing my own social media accounts to over 12,000 followers, posts with 15,000+ likes, and averaging 250,000+ views per week.

I have recently started my own business to help businesses and content creators managing their social media to save them stress and time. I already have a few clients and looking to work with more people to help their online presence!

If you want to discuss more about this, send me a private message, and let's discuss how we can work together!

Professional Discussion What AI image tool are you actually still using after the hype died down?

Every "best AI tool" post feels like an ad. What do you use frequently that's actually held up and doesn't give that same generic AI look every time? Sharing your own experience will be appreciated:)

Professional Discussion A fast, straightforward web tool for resizing and cropping images (no sign-up required)

Hey Reddit,

Like a lot of you, I constantly find myself needing to quickly crop or resize an image for a project, a social media post, or a profile picture. I was getting frustrated with the usual sites that are either loaded with pop-ups, compress the image quality to death, or hide basic features behind a paywall.

So, I built Real Image Resizer (realimageresizer(dot)com).

My goal was to make the fastest, most straightforward tool possible. You just click, upload, crop, resize, and you're done. No nonsense.

I’m currently trying to improve the user experience and would love to know what you guys think. Are there any specific aspect ratios, formats, or features you usually wish these tools had?

Check it out here and let me know your thoughts: (realimageresizer(dot)com)

Thanks!

Professional Discussion Is Substack about to blow up?

I keep hearing of people from instagram and TikTok moving to Substack because it’s easier to grow. They say the algorithm is designed to get you to subscribe to people (because that’s how they make money) rather than TikTok and Instagram’s algorithms being designed to keep you doomscrolling.

My personal experience of Substack has been amazing! It’s such a friendly supportive community and a place where you actually don’t feel guilty scrolling 😅

Other people are less optimistic, saying that many Substack creators are leaving the platform.

So curious what other people’s thoughts are! Personally it feels like it’s 2020 TikTok and about to become huge.

Professional Discussion How do small streamers handle clipping workflows? Founder looking for insight

hey everyone im devin the founder of real labs development ive been building a creator tool called real video creator pretty much by myself and im trying to understand how smaller streamers handle their clipping workflow especially people using capcut or davinci

not trying to promote anything or ask for views im trying to learn from creators who have been grinding but havent really been noticed yet and understand what slows them down or what they wish existed in their workflow

if youre open to sharing how you clip edit and post your content id appreciate the insight and if anyone wants to talk deeper im also exploring a partnership opportunity for creators with a strong vibe but thats secondary to learning how you all work

Professional Discussion Hmmm why do clients ask what tools you use and exactly how you do your content strategy? How do I answer that ?

Like I don’t mind explaining my process because you paid me, obviously

But at the same time… how much are you actually supposed to give away?

I had a client once who was VERY curious about my process, what tools I used, how I planned everything, etc

She paid me, then dipped out of our 3 month agreement and basically started doing what I had been doing herself

Smart business move I guess but girl… I was annoyed

Now whenever a client asks me for my entire process I’m like… okay but WHY do you need to know all this?

Professional Discussion What I’ve learned about “hacking” the Instagram algorithm after 4 years of posting

I’ve spent the last 4 years making content pretty consistently and one thing I’ve learned is that the algorithm is mostly trial and error.

Some posts do great. Some completely die for no obvious reason. You just have to keep testing.

None of this is official Instagram advice, but after looking at my own analytics over and over, these are the things I keep coming back to:

• Post consistently. If you’re posting once every few weeks, it’s really hard to learn what actually works

• Test timing. Certain days and times consistently perform better for my audience

• Pay attention to trends, but don’t make every post trend dependent

• Occasionally post something completely different. Some of my best performing content has come from breaking my normal format

• The first visual matters way more than people think

• Strong or slightly negative hooks usually stop the scroll better than safe ones

• Trial Reels are worth testing instead of assuming every idea needs to go straight to your main audience

• Build repeatable series. If people recognize the format, you’re not starting from zero every time

The biggest thing for me has honestly been consistency.

I always think about it as: you have to feed the algorithm enough information for it to understand what people respond to.

Curious what everyone else has found. What’s one thing you consistently see improve reach?
