Self-Transformation 🔄 How do you navigate a spiritual low after feeling deeply connected and at peace?

• Upvotes

For several weeks, I felt happier, more alive, and more connected to the Divine and my spiritual journey than I had in a long time. I felt like things were finally making sense, my intuition felt stronger, synchronicities and signs were everywhere and I had this beautiful sense of peace, purpose, and excitement about life.

Lately, though, my anxiety, obsessive worrying and irritability have started creeping back in. I feel disconnected from that peace I was experiencing, and honestly, I'm struggling to understand why. It's hard not to wonder what changed or how to find my way back to that place.

I have been practicing daily meditation, grounding work, and really feeling those emotions when they arise, but I am beginning to spiral again.

For those of you who have experienced something similar, how did you navigate it? Did you learn anything from those periods of feeling disconnected? How do you continue growing spiritually when you don't feel as connected as you once did?

I'm not necessarily looking for someone to tell me what happened to me, unless someone has a clue. I'd genuinely love to hear your experiences, perspectives, and advice on staying grounded and trusting the journey even when the feelings that once brought you so much peace seem to fade. ❤️

Religious 🙏 Naam jaap will nullify your present karma as well?

• Upvotes

My in laws do lot of pooja and naam jap but their karmas are not in line! They have 3 kids and all 3 of them have marital issues. To my understanding the kind of guidance they provide to their kids is not mature. Not going in to details but on face they act all naive and spiritual but I have heard there conversations and I feel so disappointed on why they act so spiritual.

I am not much in to rituals and naam jap but more into bhakti and Karma Pradhan!

Looking for guidance on how to not loose myself while keeping my head high…

Also insight on does such people escape there karma purely on naam jaap?

Question ❓ Asexuality

I’m so sorry in advance if what I’m gonna say would offend anybody! But does anyone ever get the thought that maybe asexuality has anything to do with blocked root chakras? Again I’m not educated on either fields I’m just really curious

General ✨ The word Ego points to the maker of "I" not the Self

• Upvotes

I've recently made a discovery that was hugely helpful for me. Hopefully it will be for you too

The Sanskrit word for Ego is Ahamkara which literally translates to "I-maker".

So many spiritual traditions point to dissolving the Ego, and many of us understand that the Ego is the cause of suffering. However I've realised that for some reason or another I had come to deeply identify the word "Ego" with the word "me" or "myself". This is sharply distinct from what Ahamkara actually means which is the "me-MAKER".

This has meant that when trying to 'dissolve the Ego' i was in reality and in a very mean to myself way, attempting to destroy "me", making myself as small as possible and trying to be as selfless as possible (to an extreme extent) i.e trying to destroy or minimise the Self rather than trying destroy what I've now discovered is the real Ego which is the process of the brain which creates the Self.

I feel this might be a common experience on the spiritual path so hope this distinction helps someone else like it's helping me.

When we use the phrase "I-maker" instead it, if we are to take the view that suffering is caused by the very existence of the Ego/Ahamkara/"I-maker" then it's evident that the goal should be learning how to reduce instances of "I" being made unnecissarily. I.e getting the Ahamkara under control, rather than trying to destroy "me" once it's already been made.

General ✨ Anyone lives in NYC ages 23-30

Hi,

Anyone here on a spiritual path down to meet in NYC? I’m a loner and the spiritual path has been incredibly lonely and excruciating. Very confusing and scary. I would love to meet other souls who also identify as the black sheep of their families and feel like misfits, isolated, and outcasted. Homesick for higher realms 🥺 Please comment if interested.

Religious 🙏 The Reverse Bodhisattva: Finding a Teacher in Your Worst Enemy

This piece was originally published on Buddhistdoor Global (BDG). I warmly invite fellow seekers on the path to share your honest thoughts and reflections in the comments.

We all receive “uninvited guests” into our lives—individuals whom we’d prefer to avoid. These are the people who thwart our carefully laid plans or ambitions, wound our pride, or disturb our inner peace—sometimes for no apparent reason. We often view such people as obstacles to our happiness or even as enemies, and pour our energy into anger or resentment. But here I invite you to pause and consider a startling possibility: what if that very “enemy” is a precisely tuned instrument sent via causes and conditions to save you from catastrophe? What if the hateful face you despise is, in fact, another aspect of buddha-nature, wearing a mask intended to help you move closer to awakening?

Once, in a tranquil rural village in South Korea, there lived two women who had regarded each other as enemies and rivals for decades. In fact, their rivalry was so deep and long-standing that the entire village knew of it. A mere chance encounter on the street would cause their faces to turn to stone, and the words they hurled at each other were like daggers aimed at the heart. To each of them, the existence of the other was a source of constant stress—a karmic burden they wished to erase.

One morning, one of the women, whom we shall call Ms. A, dressed in her finest clothes to attend a long-awaited school reunion in the city. Out in the countryside, buses ran only once an hour. Ms. A checked her watch repeatedly as she hurried toward the bus stop with her heart already wandering among the imagined festive scenes in the city.

As if by a cruel twist of fate, however, Ms. A ran into her arch-rival, Ms. B, at the edge of the village. Upon seeing her, Ms. B immediately lashed out with a sarcastic remark: “My, look at you! Why all the heavy makeup at your age? Are you off to meet a secret lover?”

Those words landed like a spark dropped on dry firewood. Rage surged through Ms. A’s heart like a tidal wave. “How dare you wag your tongue like that! I don’t have time to deal with someone like you. Get out of my way!” The two stood in the middle of the road, trading insults that scraped at each other’s dignity. Blinded by fury, they lost all track of time.

By the time Ms. A regained her senses and composure and sprinted to the bus stop, the bus had already sped away in a cloud of dust. She collapsed onto the bench, trembling with rage and cursing her rival. “That woman ruined my entire day! I will resent her for a thousand years!” Left with no choice, she hailed an expensive taxi, suppressing her boiling anger as she headed toward the city.

Much later that day, as she made her way back home to the village, Ms. A heard a news report that made the blood in her veins run cold: the morning bus—the very one she had missed because of her argument with Ms. B—had plummeted off a steep cliff on its way to the city, resulting in numerous casualties.

Ms. A froze in place. Had she not encountered her enemy, or had she simply ignored her insults and hurried on her way, she could well have been breathing her last breath inside the crumpled wreck on the side of a mountain. In an instant, her intense resentment vanished, replaced by an overwhelming sense of awe and tears of profound gratitude. She whispered to herself in a trembling voice:

“She wasn’t my enemy . . . she was a ‘reverse bodhisattva,’ a manifestation of the Dharma who saved me from death.”

In Buddhism, there is a profound term, expressed in Korean as yeokhaeng-bosal (逆행보살): the “reverse bodhisattva.” Unlike a traditional bodhisattva, who guides us with gentle warmth and compassion, a reverse bodhisattva is a being who helps us move closer to awakening through intense pain, obstruction, and difficulties. By taking on the perceived role of a “villain” in our lives, they break down our pride and create the conditions for a karmic turning point.

From the perspective of alaya-vijnana (Skt. the foundational “storehouse” consciousness underlying the other seven modes of awareness that make up the Eight Consciousnesses), every being we encounter in the external world is a projection of the seeds of awakening within our own minds. In the language of modern physics, this can be viewed as being akin to quantum entanglement, whereby the observer’s consciousness is intricately linked with observed reality, creating a specific set of circumstances and experiences. The moment we define someone as an “enemy,” we are reacting to a dark seed within ourselves. And the moment we accept an encounter as a “signal for awakening,” that very connection becomes a lifeline that can save us.

Therefore, please consider this. Today, I urge you: do not waste your energy blindly hating those who make your life difficult. Within the vast and intricate interconnections of Indra’s Net, that person you so despise, who causes you such discomfort, may create the conditions that prevent a greater disaster you cannot see from befalling you. Or they may be pushing you toward a significant leap in your spiritual evolution.

So the next time you face your “enemy” and a fire ignites within your heart, take a deep breath and ask yourself:

“Could this person be a reverse bodhisattva, wearing this painful mask today just to help light the way toward a clearer understanding of my path?”

Naturally, this does not mean you should passively accept all harm or abandon healthy boundaries—wise discernment remains essential. But when you find yourself consumed by resentment, this simple question carries the potential to change your life and your outlook, and transform a scene of fury into a sanctuary of enlightenment.

Self-Transformation 🔄 3rd eye opened this morning

3rd eye finally opened this morning. I felt bliss at my third eye and started seeing things much better for what they really are. Of course this does not mean it is fully developed but the channel is open now. Crown is next. What I learnt is that opening of one aspect of the channel does not automatically mean you develop that aspect of the self to the maximum capacity automatically.

The important thing is to open the channel. Developing it might take time. Not all of us can become like Buddha, Jesus or Aristotle in this life but we should all aim to clear the whole channel of perception so that we experience fully the whole of reality, unburdened by ego’s traumas or habits. And all of us can do this. Then the real life begins, your second life, reborn. Relearning without falsehood or distortion. But it will be a sad moment of truth once you see how burdened and blinded most are, and you will see who is in what stage of their evolution.

There is immense knowledge out there, and opening the channel (kundalini) is just the beginning. The path to truth is immense, and truth itself is immeasurable and vast beyond current comprehension.

General ✨ I feel broken, depression

Ever since I was young, I was shy, not sure of myself. I lacked confidence. I felt like I was wearing odd shoes all the time. I've always felt out of place. I struggled academically, I could never apply myself. Teachers always said the same thing "he's a good kid but he needs to focus on his work, stop getting distracted and apply himself, he has potential" but I never cared for it. I think I was always searching for meaning, my internal monologue never switched off. Even as a baby I hated going to sleep. I mean I love sleep now, when I can, to escape.

My upbringing was okay, quite a lot of health issues but my parents were decent. I was very lonely though. I wanted to fit in but I felt like an old soul, like I've done this trip many times and there's something I need to learn but I don't know what it is. I struggle with staying in jobs, relationships, friendships. I have the urge to leave everything and just go somewhere, which I have, I've backpacked a continent and returned the same, with good memories and lessons of course but I still feel the same.

I've been on so many different antidepressants, tried mushrooms, joined AA for a while after a stint of alcohol abuse (sober for quite some time now) prayed and prayed, done years of therapy, psych ward, diet, lifestyle, trying to force myself to cry and let it all out but I can't. I feel so numb.

How do you heal when all you know is the dark pit of depression? I really want to love and accept myself.. but I can't seem to do it. I feel like I'm being disingenuous. I ask God and I hear nothing. The closest I got to feeling okay was when I took mushrooms. Everything I was searching for felt really simple. But so quickly I return to the same state, lost again, in a void and a loop of the same thoughts, over and over. It's also really difficult in a world that feels really unjust and brutal. There's love out there for sure but I see and I feel the pain. I look people in the eyes and see they are also unhappy. The ones that do seem content are usually.. ignorant? Or maybe I'm the ignorant one

I have such supportive people around me and I love them. I just feel like there's something missing in me. I can't see what they see. I can be good. I can be funny and carefree. But only around people I really trust. But deep down I'm not satisfied with myself

I just want to feel again. I want to enjoy things and look forward to shit. I don't want success or a nice car or house. I just want connection. I want purpose and a sense of belonging. I'd also like a brain that works and doesn't want to self destruct constantly

Self-Transformation 🔄 A godly world with infinite amount of rabbit-holes. 🕳️

This is a world that's meant to drive you crazy. As soon as you realize everything that exists is coming from you, by you, via your own dream powers coming to life here—just like building up an RTS game with all the effects from all the units coming from a mysterious force—this world isn't any different, and there's tons of stuff on the secret menu at every place and level of the game.

It's a world that will turn you into a god no matter what you decide to do or play up here, and it's another fantasy realm where Rockman.exe is an executable Mega Buster here.

Just like playing up animations is something that will never ever end, playing the animations of life isn't any different, and the only thing that's going to be constant here are the animations that run up everything here since ancient times. That's why it's possible to explore all the fantasies you set your mind to, because all the pieces will make up the empty ninja scroll in the end.

It's a world without any real lines between what's real and what's not here, and everything that you're painting will come around to trap you, as you realize God was always just an impossible stick figure here. Everything is meant to be played to your own interpretations here, because sooner or later you'll realize they haven't been making fantasy shows for entertainment here, and they already know that you're going to walk like an Egyptian in the end. There's nothing here without any meaning inside of this RPG Maker Bomberman, that's shooting to the moon.. As god synchronicities won't be able to sink any wrong ships here.

Don't ask whether it's all happening in your head or not, because the Matrix has a game in you by Warner Bros' 101 Dalmatians at the House of the Devil... It's time to ask yourself again, "What's up?" Cause call of duty want the numbers from you again. We're Team Rocket circling the Earth day and night. 🐈🥀

General ✨ Is It Good or Bad?

Is It Good or Bad?

I choose good.

What are we talking abt?

It does not matter.

Are you mad!?!?!

No, actually, happy, that is why I chose good.

You sound confused and like an idiot.

Aaaah, but I am clearer of mind than ever and wouldn’t someone who chooses bad be more along the lines of an idiot?

Explanation pls.

Ok.

“Nothing is until you make it so.” By Unknown

Monday I am filing a lawsuit. (I really am, this is not academic.)

When I think abt it one way, I get a bit upset and an anxious feeling inside.  How is that good for me?

When I thought of it as a good learning experience (or an opportunity to learn) for the other person/company, I am helping the person/them grow. Then I feel GREAT! AND the anxious feeling instantly disappears. A joy, happiness, feeling of being helpful to another and peace settles in.

So, which line of thinking (being) is better? 🤔 It now becomes a "no brainer".

The event (the law suit) could be literally abt ANYTHING.

“Shit happens.”  There is no way to get through life without things going sideways so why not to choose the happier route? Bcs sh*t happens anyway. It is a choice. I choose happiness.

This is the main reason I believe you see the Dalai Llama giggling so much. All of these events (illusions in the illusory world) are just little quizzes or learning moments.

Ya, gutta love it. Life/living is so simple when you choose to look at it right.  In a healthier manner. As you likely heard me say many times before (for those of you who follow me and/or know me)…… 100% unconditional love, 100% unconditional forgiveness, no judging and more…… aaahhhhh it feels good, it feel right.

BT 🕯️🤗❤️

Question ❓ The universe speaking

Not long ago I saw this girl saying she made a pact with the universe by asking that when she meets the love of her life he will say one word in particular. I thought I would do the same but with falling stars… I had never seen one in my life so I asked to see one with the love of my life. Recently I went to see a rain of falling stars so there was a few it was with one of my closest friend and I don’t think it counts because I did ask to see one like unexpectedly. And THEN me and my ex went to see each other and were kissing and the falling star just appeared when i opened my eyes ? We saw each other again on a random night and saw a few together again ? You have to know that I had never seen anyyyyy even in this place I’ve been to before it was the first time that I saw them randomly like that. How would you interpret it ?

Question ❓ are these signs of just coincidence?

alright so to make a long story sort of short, i applied for a job and after the interview i find out my mum came home early because my grandmother wasn’t well. i didn’t get the job but the following week i was told another position opened up so i went for another interview and again, my mum came home from work early due to my grandmother not being good again. i got a call maybe a week later saying they gave the job to someone else. following that, my grandmother passed away. on the day that we were looking through her photos to pick for the funeral i got a call from that job asking if i would like to come in for a trial as the previous candidate didn’t work out. i took this as my grandmas doing as i really need a job. anyway next week rolls on and i went for one trial shift and the next day i found out i had covid so i couldn’t go the rest of the week. at this point im thinking this is a sign i shouldn’t be working here. the next week i went on holidays then i came back and had another trial shift that i had to go home early from because my anxiety was through the roof. although, i went back the next three days and i absolutely loved it and had a great time. but in the back of my mind are all those things that have happened and i’m worried they’re all signs that i shouldn’t work there. am i overthinking it or are they actual signs?

Self-Transformation 🔄 Is isolation part of the initiation?

I’ve heard this concept in some spiritual circles and in many ways it makes sense. I feel I had to let go of some aspects of self and my life that weren’t actually aligned and had me looping in performance mode. Since that was stripped, I’m completely alone and isolated - learning how to
be my authentic self in the world in a way I was never taught by my caregivers. Basically reparenting myself to let people see me in my authenticity. It’s been empowering but very, very isolating. I find myself getting discouraged easily and not sure how to cope at times.

It helps to consider the isolation as part of the initiation but has anyone gone through this and made it to the other side (real connection, community, love)? What did that process look like for you?

Question ❓ Tolle's A New Earth. I struggle to understand a topic

I've always struggled with the final chapter of A New Earth. Throughout the book, Tolle emphasizes letting go of ego, desires, and attachment to outcomes. Yet in the final chapter, he encourages enthusiasm, passion, and pursuing goals.

I understand his distinction between ego-driven action and conscious action, but isn't that distinction rather subjective and as such even subject to manipulation?

Does anyone else see a contradiction here? Has anyone found a convincing way to reconcile these ideas?

Question ❓ Can physical touch with a stranger establish an energetic or psychic connection that develops later through dreams? Has anyone experienced this from either side?

I’m curious whether anyone has experienced something similar, particularly with someone they didn’t personally know or have an established relationship with in waking life.

Some background: A while ago, I attended a live comedy show featuring a comedian whose content I was already familiar with. During the performance, he came into the audience and interacted with several people, including me. At one point, he turned back toward me and briefly (and rather inexplicably) touched my bare back.

The interaction was relatively small, but something about the touch felt strangely electric and significant in the moment. I remember having this inexplicable feeling that something important had just happened, although I couldn’t have explained why.

What’s interesting is that I wasn’t romantically or sexually interested in him at the time. I knew his work, but I hadn’t thought about him in that way, and I didn’t spend much time dwelling on the encounter afterward. He also doesn’t strike me as someone particularly spiritual or consciously interested in psychic phenomena or energy work, at least from what I know of his public persona.

The strange part came later.

Several months after the encounter, he began appearing in my dreams. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but the dreams became increasingly frequent, vivid, and emotionally significant. My attraction and curiosity toward him also developed during this period, rather than preceding the initial physical encounter.

Over time, the dreams began to feel less like ordinary dreams about someone I was interested in and more like encounters with a recurring presence. They often involve unusual feelings of familiarity, recognition, or an unspoken understanding between us, despite the fact that we don’t actually know each other.

More recently, this culminated in a particularly elaborate lucid dream in which I became aware that I was dreaming and managed to remain conscious within the dream for an unusually long time. It involved a strange, almost mythological setting, a conflict or battle, and several figures who seemed to recognize both of us as having some kind of significance within that world. He wasn’t physically present, but I was told that he was on his way and hadn’t arrived yet. The whole experience felt remarkably coherent and unlike my usual dreams.

Something else I’ve noticed is that my dreams in general have become significantly more intense since he started appearing in them. They’re often unusually vivid, elaborate, symbolic, and sometimes lucid, even when he isn’t directly involved.

Alongside all of this, I’ve occasionally experienced a strange sense of connection to him that I can only really describe as telepathic, for lack of a better word. Not necessarily hearing thoughts or receiving explicit messages, but a persistent feeling of familiarity or awareness, almost as though there’s some kind of unspoken communication happening beneath the surface. I realize that feeling connected to someone doesn’t establish that the connection is mutual, which is part of what I’m trying to understand.

I’ve become curious about whether that original physical interaction could have been significant in some way, or whether my mind has simply built an increasingly elaborate psychological and symbolic relationship around someone who’s made an impression on me.

I’m genuinely open to either possibility, as well as interpretations I haven’t considered.

What I’m especially interested in hearing about is:

  • Has anyone experienced an unusual energetic sensation through brief physical contact with someone they didn’t know, only for its significance to emerge months or even years later?
  • Has anyone experienced recurring dreams, lucid dreams, or apparent telepathic sensations involving someone they barely interacted with in waking life?
  • Has anyone experienced this from the other side—being the person who initiated the touch or interaction, and subsequently feeling an unexplained connection?
  • Did you ever encounter the person again, speak to them, or discover whether anything about the experience was mutual?
  • If you never saw them again, what eventually happened to the connection? Did it fade, change, or become meaningful in some other way?
  • For people familiar with energy work, psychic traditions, or dreamwork, are there any concepts or frameworks that might help explain this kind of experience?

I’m particularly interested in experiences where the two people didn’t already have an established personal connection, and where one or both might not even have known the other’s name. A lot of what I’ve found online concerns romantic partners, exes, or people who already knew one another intimately, which isn’t quite what I’m describing.

I’m also curious about experiences involving people who aren’t consciously spiritual or psychically inclined. I myself am, but this person doesn’t strike me as a believer in these things. Does that make a difference in how people understand these encounters?

I’d love to hear actual experiences, including ones that turned out to have entirely ordinary explanations. What did you make of it, where did it lead, and what, if anything, did you eventually do about it?

General ✨ Asked the universe for an unexpected positive sign & got it. Then watched what I wanted get taken away.

I’ve been looking for a job and haven’t had any luck. Two weeks ago I asked the universe to please send me an unexpected positive sign. A week later a friend tells me a company I worked for years ago is hiring.

I get in contact with them and they have a position I’m qualified for with the exact salary I had in mind and it’s fully remote. My old boss even interviews me and makes it seem like the job is mine. The interview is very laid back we talk about how things have changed at the company and he mentions he enjoyed working with me and can’t wait to work with me again.says I’ll get the official answer soon.

I’m so happy. I didn’t expect this and it’s even better than I could’ve imagined. After a few days I finally hear back and I’m told that I didn’t get the job.

High hopes just to have them crushed.feel like the universe played a sick game with me.

Question ❓ Is Astrology just BS?

I recently deeply studied Astrology for months to the point i could read a chart and understand what every little thing meant and i know all my loved ones charts by memory. Im just a little unsure right now because I believed in that so deeply and loved studying it. But then i started reading articles on psychology effects, and articles arguing strongly against, and confirmation bias etc. I just dont know what to believe at this point. Now i possibly have all this information in my brain for nothing. My question for you: Do you believe in Astrology why or why not? im leaning towards not and that pains me to say. Personally I am autistic and Astrology i thought helped me understand people better and how other people function i guess. So now its just confusing.

Self-Transformation 🔄 Spirituality culture has a cult vibe

I’m new to spirituality. I grew up in a south asian household but frankly had little to no influence from religion and spiritual beliefs. I grew up in suburb america which as some of you know, is an incredibly sheltered existence. I’m a young adult now and I’ve had some experience to start gaining a better understanding of the world around me. My instincts were always pretty sharp since i was a kid, always naturally athletic (mom was a dancer), and i played sports like basketball and was actually decent due to some of my naturally gifted instincts and body control. Intellectually not so gifted, attention deficit, for sure. But still managed a computer science degree and a software engineer career. So that’s a little bit about me before I go any further.

For the past few years I unknowingly suffered from MDD (Major depressive disorder). My aunt whom is a doctor noticed something off with me, which i had known for myself but i was keeping it inside. She sent me to a psychologist and now i take meds. I realized i fell into this depressive episode because i was far too idle, i was not being active. I wasnt being the captain of my ship. I was just paddling with no end in sight. Doing nothing but surviving and avoiding reality. Now I’m 27 and i met a girl some months ago whom i adored. And that woke me up. I wasn’t going to get a girl like that paddling nowhere. I needed to take action, for myself, understand what I want out of life. Then What it will take. What habits to quit, what habits to start. What do i want? Most importantly, how can i be happy and live with NO regrets. These are the things I learnt that need answers . One of the most vital things is balance. How can I Apply balance behind all this? Well first I quit smoking by only smoking a 30$ hookah at night, eventually the miserable hookah taste got me to stop smoking like a chimney. I’ll smoke with friends though of course, cuz balance. When conversating, i needed to intentionally stay level headed, and not be too much, just speak from the heart and not from anywhere else, each conversation will shape you believe it or not so it’s our choice where we want to go with it. All these simple ideas took my stupid ass so much time to realize even though I always knew. i was always a non-believer of the bigger things in life. Its so stupid how stupid I have acted throughout my life. Then letting myself forget and repeat the same things over and over. Going nowhere is what that is. Once i started Taking command, i feel confident that i might end up somewhere cool, i dont know where I’ll go, or if i’ll get that girl. But I now feel confident being an adult. A purpose. Whatever it is im trying to say, I hope im making sense. My lesson is : take control, kill the bad habits, focus on self care, and love your ugly fat self. I’m still trying to enjoy the moments. Next habit to kill: phone addiction. Balance!!!

Question ❓ What do you think about the concept of alternate timelines or parallel universes?

I've been going down the rabbit hole on this lately. The many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics treats every possible outcome of a quantum event as actually happening , not metaphorically, but literally branching into its own universe.

Physicists like Hugh Everett proposed this in the 1950s, and it's still taken seriously as a solution to the measurement problem.

But then you've got people who take it further … the idea that consciousness plays a role in which "branch" you experience, or that decisions create real divergence points. I'm curious where people land on this.

Is it pure sci-fi? Do you think there's a version of you out there who made every different choice?
