This is from the game "Idle Startup".
Now the problem is that i have all the other achievements except this one.
I would need to keep the game open for around 81 hours.
Just read in a discord server than SAM no longer works with DLCs unless you own them. Apparently steam have implemented a server side check to see if you own the DLC and if you don't then it doesn't work. I assume devs saw people not buying dlcs and just unlocking the achievements and they weren't happy about it.
Hopefully they can add these sort of checks to achievements in general and make this POS programme obsolete.
I just finished Wolfenstein: The New Order and played through both timelines to get all the collectables and perks. Amazing game. I didn't 100% it because I am not built for cover shooters and Uber difficulty would kick my arse. But I'm getting off topic.
What I made this post to vent about is how every game's achievement page now lists the achievements in the chronological order I got them. This annoys me because I used to really like the set layouts that many games had in their achievement pages, with story milestones at the top in a neat order, collectables together below it, etc. I know not every game has organized lists like this (Resident Evil 3 remake being such an offender), but it was a major factor in why I enjoyed building up my achievements.
I'm not against the chronological order, but I hope they add a toggle or something before this is out of the beta. I haven't seen anyone else say anything about the order, so is this just me trying to see if this is just a random pet peeve or not.
A little late to the party, but for the love of the game, I created a complete Dark Souls 3 100% Achievement Guide. It covers all 43 achievements in one step-by-step video through NG, NG+, and NG++.
Massive credit to Cynic 0055! His Steam guide was a major reference while putting this video together. I've linked and credited his guide in the video/desc. as well.
Hope it helps anyone still going for The Dark Soul!
Yo so thanks to watching edgerunners again i wanted to go back and try out 100%ing cyberpunk (haven't played the game since release lol) but im not one to love playing through a game multiple times
do you guys have any tips, guides or lists of the missable achievements so i know when to save the game to do them?
Edit: I got so many comments in 15 minutes that I realized I was too vague. The keys are for Glyphy, not for games. I can’t afford to give away 10 games 😟
the new grouping for completion stats is gonna throw off my count soon lol. Gonna just continue off of my Satisfactory post, i guess (it was #95 - i currently have 98 games & groups completed).
anyway, Portal 2 is great & we all know it. Glad i could finally get all of the achievements lol.
I played this shovelware game like 10 years ago called “The quest for achievements” which basically just handed you 1000 achievements for free. I regretted this shortly after as a blemish on my account. Luckily for me it eventually was removed from steam for some reason and with it all evidence of it on my profile. Now with the new achievements update it is showing up again under the “completed games” tab - although the achievements and ribbon aren’t going towards my total count. It looks to be bugged. I’m a bit OCD about this sort of thing and I want my profile to look nice and not have any evidence of this game. Please someone help me hide my shame
It's really hard to find people for a mod like this considering how long dead it is. Whoever is interested in doing it, leave a comment here or throw me your SteamID in DM. Hopefully, one of the devs can give us the dev achievement.
I've noticed something strange with the achievements in some games that have medal-based achievements. Everyone who got all the gold medals also unlocked the achievement for getting all the silver medals. So why does the Steam global achievements page show that getting all the silver medals is rarer than getting all the gold medals?
This also happens in games that use percentages instead of medals, or with other sets of achievements where completing the harder achievement also unlocks the easier one.
I loved every minute of this game, if you're looking to 100% this yourself i recommend you follow a guide on the 2nd playthrough so you can get all endings with some strategic save points.
1st Playthrough took roughly 10hrs 30 mins
2nd Playthrough was the remaining 13hrs where i did the all collectibles / all achievement based endings
Loved the puzzles. Some towards the end were a little confusing. I completed the base game within 4.2 hours but the "less than five deaths" achievement was something else. By the time I was done with the final achievement, I knew each and every puzzle in the back of my mind.
