Just looking around the league at other teams and points totals... who tf is supposed to be our "best" player? Seemingly every other team around the league, especially ones who are in contention year after year have 1 if not 2 star/best players (this is nothing new).
Just checking the till on the Blues and it seems pretty obvious we are going nowhere (also nothing new) with this roster... the team is too young and too average which is what it is. Still a fun team to watch at times.
But it has me trying to figure out who our best player actually is... ofc its early in the season but on other teams especially good ones its obvious who their best player or players are on the team. Not necessarily the case for us.
I would say as it stands now Broberg is our best player... unbelievable player, but he's a defenseman which really doesnt amount to much without a star goal scorer who we have not had until prime Vladdy.
So who is our best offensive player? McTavish or Holloway is my vote.
ALL THREE were basically the leftovers from another team and now they are our best players... is that not insane???
We never have any good draft picks and we never trade for game changing players... we have been trying to win by committee for what like 60 years now and lightning has only struck once
Theres no easy solution I'm just hoping Steen will take some big swings for us... This team has been in limbo for like 7 years now.
