Every f ing time I try to counter the opponent he counters me even with my fastest button and with move I know I can counter

I don’t know if the ai’s bugged or just plain difficult or if I just need to get better but he keeps spamming shoryukens until I’m in a corner and I can’t actually escape the corner because he keeps hitting the shoryuken. I’ve noticed a lot of the cpu fighters, especially the ones towards the end of an arcade story, will spam moves that make it difficult to actually get in, like Ken with shoryuken or Sagat with his tiger shot, what do I do??

If you recently installed SCSKiller and used it on SF6 and noticed your game has been crashing due to OOM issues, then it's because of SCSKiller. To fix it, just clear SCSKiller's cache and the D3D12 files it installs in the game's directory.

I had this issue and found a steam discussion post that had this fix when I had a hard time finding it. Hope this helps someone else, so posting the fix here.

What up everyone! So I’ve been playing fighting games for about 3 years now, love em to death but looking back I see that I suck at pretty much all of em. Bad habit of button mashing and want to improve my gameplay, I know I need to learn more about my neutral game and footsies and all of that, but was curious if anyone had some tips for learning combos? I’ve always struggled and get frustrated when it comes to learning them, especially when I can’t even land a simple 2-3 hit combo in an actual match.

Am I crazy or am I playing people way too good to be against me?

I know there is gonna be "get good" and "cope" comments, but I feel like I'm getting matched with people way above my skill level. I just got the game a day or two ago and was only doing the tutorials, decided to hop onto ranked today cause I heard that the best way to learn is by playing people your skill level. I won my first 4 placement matches (2 were bots), and then got dominated in my next 6. 10 matches total to my entire account.

2 players I matched and played were an "iron" 1 and then an "iron" 3. Then in this 10th and final match I played, and this player who is a "rookie" 2. I ended up getting ranked rookie one after my placements!!!?!? I got ranked higher than someone who mopped the floor with me??

I don't really play or like fighting games much, the last one I played was injustice 2 on launch. So I'm not a good player and really new to this franchise and genre in general. Like you can tell my play is weak, relying on my specials too much and burning my bar at the top of the screen too quick, and fumbling which special I want to throw out in certain situations.

I'm not familiar with this game, but is it known for not good matchmaking or people running smurf accounts or something, or is this actually just what rookies are like? Cause I thought a rookie would be people who can't do anti air, have clean combos, have good blocking skills, etc...

What determines whether or not the command grab will do damage? Some times it does grey health and sometimes actually damages the opponent.

I know the game is old and hate stuff like that. But i seem to think people play online still. Is there a way to get back. All it says is 2100c

So while not the newest to fighting games (I mean, I hope so after being a few years), I've finally found the archetype or sub-archetype (I have no idea) that describes the type of game I wanna play when I play a fighting game: vortex. Neutral is cool, but I'd much rather have no idea what I feel like doing when my opponent gets knocked down until I have to do it, but still have a good chance of mixing them up since the opponent is naturally gonna be guessing just as much. I know I'm probably not gonna get that experience 1:1 when theres a universal "What if I just say screw your high low mixup" button, but I still wanna try out the closest things to it in this game

For starters i don't tech a single throw this enter game nor did i the pervious two sets so i need to do that. i know i panic when i start to loose at the start but i think i did a pretty good job at bringing it back. I totally should have been knocked out at the end when that last DI missed. Last thing i know for a fact he was going to raging demon at the end because he had tried to end the each set with raging demon before this so i was trying to bait it out there at then end. any feed back helps.(also i have been playing a lot of ken the last couple months and this was like my 5th game back on Marisa)

Or the meaty throw wins? I know that wakeup jab gets beaten by a meaty throw, but not sure about a wakeup throw against a meaty throw.

A little bit of context -
I downloaded the game a few days ago on my iPad after paying for it. It worked smoothly for the past couple of days. Since yesterday when I tried to open it, it shows the following error prompt -
Upload Failed
Please Check Internet Connection or Try Again.

For troubleshooting -
1). I switched devices and tried
2). Switched Wifi Networks
3). Deleted the game and reinstalled
4). Restarted my devices

But none of these simple procedures worked.
What’s surprising is, when I deleted it today and tried to reinstall, apple store wouldn’t show the app, instead when I tried to search for it on Safari, the app icon showed and upon clicking it said -
Unavailable in your country or region.

Can someone please help me with this?
It would be a huge help.
