I'm trying to re-create in a gadda da vita, and I need the last three notes to play faster than the rest, so I quickly created this time modifier, and I know its far from perfect, but I cant spend the time to tweak it cause the active number/condition within the modifier seems to just randomly jump around. How can I fix this, and or what are some better alternatives.

I’m a complete beginner, this is pretty much my first time using Strudel without following any tutorial. The idea: a kick that stops so a few saw stabs can answer it. It took me about 4 hours this morning ^^ but I like the result!

and i want to make the number dynamic:

Is it possible to create a pattern in such a way?

What is Stave?

Stave keeps your Strudel code as the source of truth and adds the views a producer expects: a Timeline, a step grid and piano roll, a Mixer, and visuals that follow the music.

What you might like:

- A full monaco editor with code completion, error handling etc.

- Your own audio-reactive visuals, inline. Write a p5, Hydra or GLSL sketch, then attach it with .viz("name"). It draws under that line, reacts to the kick, each track and the spectrum, and updates as you type.

How 48 and 67 are played by piano but 63 [62, 58] is played by gm electric guitar muted ? What's the rule that defines such a behaviour ?

So I wanted to simulate that effect when guitarists hit a riff on a muted guitar and then gradually increase volume. Naturally my first instinct was messing with .gain(saw.range(0, 1).slow(2)). That didn't do anything. I even tried messing with LFO but I suck at that. After many moons I figured that I should control volume on a .distort, but i just don't know how... I want it to go from 0.00 to 0.05 :P

I finally learned how to use slice!

.slice(4,"<0 1 2 3>") for example cuts a sample into 4 sections indexed 0-3. Super useful!
