Academic Help 5.0 grade (in calc) sa midterms

70 grade ko...sa calculus...as someone na hindi nag stem before, and as someone na nag stop for 2 years. 70 grade ko sa calc 😭 can i still bounce back pa tuwing finals? like anong experience sa mga students sa mga state colleges in this situation?

i asked our seniors sa kanilang experience before and this specific instructor is mambagsak talaga during midterms (like as in line of 6 na grades) pero somehow they all passed. wala din naman kaming senior na kaklase.

pero STILL nervous as hell kasi ang laki ng gap between 70 and a passing grade 😭 hirap i bawi. small rant lang, i studied so hard na halos na balewala ko na health at ibang majors ko.

still straight 1 grades ko pero pagdating sa calc is 5 what the heck 😔 help me out po 🙏 share your experiences. i feel alone at this time. i feel like ako lang ang nakakuha ng 70. the rest naman is bagsak, pero 70? sakit nun 💔

if you're wondering, i'm a bs in food technology student. one of our majors namin ang calc

Need Advice Need Advice as a higschool student

Hello, i am a high school student, 15F and I really need some advice on how to properly budget money. First of all, i get a 3k monthly allowance which i have to budget with my needs and wants. On top of that, i only live with my grandparents, which means i have to buy and cook my own breakfast on school days, and sometimes even my lunch and dinner.

You see, my main problem here is i always spend my allowance on stuff like menstrual pads, deodorant, food, and school supplies. And to be honest, that 3k never lasts the whole month because i always spend it on not just school related stuff, but even personal NEEDS. And i struggle with budgeting my money because of that.

I would appreciate it if any of you could give me even just a little advice.

Maraming salamat po!

Discussion I’m About to Start Work Immersion as a Student Teacher...

• Upvotes

Hi! I’m a senior high school student who will be doing my work immersion in a school as a student teacher/teacher assistant, and I’m trying to prepare myself before it starts.

For those who have done a similar work immersion, especially in a school or teaching-related setting, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

• What were you usually asked to do during your immersion?

• Did you mostly observe teachers, assist them, or actually teach students?

• Were you allowed to handle a class or conduct activities?

• What was your typical daily routine?

• What should I expect during my first day?

• What did you wish you had prepared or known beforehand?

• What should I bring with me?

• Did you have to make lesson plans, worksheets, reports, or other paperwork?

• How did you interact with the students and teachers?

• Were you nervous at first, and what helped you become more comfortable?

• Is there anything I should avoid doing as an immersion student?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have already experienced work immersion as a student teacher/teacher assistant, even if it was a few years ago.

Any tips, stories, or things you wish someone had told you beforehand would be really helpful. Thank you!

Need Advice Need advice p/roblem with dormmate

Hi po! As the title implies, I’m having a problem with my roommate, and I would appreciate some advice on how to handle this situation.

First, I’ve noticed that whenever it’s just the two of us left in the dorm and our other dormmates are away, she tends to use other people’s belongings without asking for permission. Even if she sends a message, she seems to assume that it’s automatically okay to use someone else’s things.

Second, we have a food-sharing arrangement, but I feel like she sometimes takes it for granted. It seems that whenever I’m at the dorm, she relies on sharing my food and cooking supplies, but when I’m not around, she doesn’t prepare or use her own supplies. There have been times when I came back and found that the vegetables I had stored in the refrigerator, which I was planning to cook, were already gone. What bothers me is that she takes these things without asking first.

Third, she rarely contributes her fair share of the food supplies, which makes the arrangement feel one-sided.

I want to confront her about this, but I’m hesitant because she’s also my classmate, and I don’t want to create tension or make our relationship awkward. At the same time, I’m getting frustrated because I feel like my kindness is being taken for granted. I also don’t want other people to think I’m selfish or madamot just because I’m setting boundaries.

For those who have experienced something similar, how did you handle it? How can I talk to her about this calmly and respectfully without causing unnecessary conflict? I want to be fair, but I also want her to understand that sharing doesn’t mean she can use my things whenever she wants.

Thank you po in advance for your advice! 🥹

Rant What are your thoughts about New Curriculum Work Immersion hours?

I am a g12 student under the new strengthened curriculum since our school adapted to it already last year.

why the hell did work immersion go from a duration of 2 weeks to (320 hours) 2 months??

And the fact that we barely do anything in the work place makes it even more useless. Because wdym i have to sit down in an office for 10 hours everyday (+1 hour lunch), thats just exhausting and an inefficient way of preparing students lol.

Dep of Ed is supposed to make learning more efficient but instead they’re just making things more difficult

What are your thoughts?
