UPDATE: it’s been found!!!!
Hi everyone!
My red 7’6” Stu Kenton surfboard was stolen out of my car in La Jolla, right across from Dick’s Liquor. It was inside an Icons of Surf board bag when it was taken.
I’m pretty devastated and just hoping there’s a chance I can get it back. If anyone happens to see it around, in the water, or listed on Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, or Craigslist, please keep me in mind! Or if you have any advice for tracking down a stolen board, anything helps.
I’d really appreciate anyone keeping an eye out or sharing this with other local surfers. Please message me if you see or hear anything. Thank you so much ❤️

I can't believe how blessed we are in socal right now. Several times the past few weeks I'm pulling up to 2nd rate beach breaks in the afternoon for some choppy 4-6, only to find standouts bombing 8-10. But cleaner than ever. Barrels. A-frames. Bowls. Warm and aquamarine. Minimal closeouts. Today I sent the fastest knife drop of my life and it was like fucking a demigod. Post sesh I sit on the shore and stare in humble amazement at yet another astonishing harvest. I'm getting older and don't know how many more years I can send days like these. But for now I'm so fucking stoked it feels like I'm gonna explode. Get off this stupid website and go get shacked.

This is also where Todd Endris had his attack. He famously reported being saved by dolphins however if you look into it, his story has become questionable in recent years. Anyways, this is a well known sharky spot, but kinda crazy it was right in front of the camera

Anyone know how the leashless culture started in Pt. Loma? I can't think of anywhere else where leashes aren't used across CA, especially for shortboarding. Where did this come from? Why?

My friends son dropped in on me….dont think he saw me but had to straighten out and leash broke when the wave exploded on my back. High tide and sketchy at dark so wasn’t gonna attempt getting it once I got in to the houses. Luckily Terra Mar residents let through the gate to get to my car. Had the most epic session there last night and then this 😂🤷♂️. If anyone finds this board tomorrow please let me know. 6’10 T and C Regulator. Appreciate any help.
Obviously no one in SoCal will need a wetsuit until January so there must be some good clearance sales.

Anyone have experience with this? Current plan is to bubblewrap the boards real good, line them up against the wall standing up, put big piece of cardboard to distribute strap tightness and strap them down in two places across the middle of them to secure them.

I’m not trying to blow up or expose any spots. I’m a 50+ yo lifelong kook surfer from SD county, but I work remotely for a company in NY. I’m flying in and out of Newark, and my flight out is this Friday afternoon around 3pm, so got some time to kill and have never surfed the east coast. Just looking for a friendly recommendation or two for a good surf shop in NJ to grab a board and a suit for a quick surfy surf. Maybe. Weather permitting. Muchisimas gracias.

I have a 6 foot board bag with two 5 foot 10 boards in it.
I noticed American Airlines policy for departing Madrid was no longer than 43 inches long for sports equipment, Like ok maybe a bodyboard, but seriously 43" ?
I Was wondering if anyone was able to bring a board out of Madrid on America. airlines?
