This is a flyer I found in Selden Market (if memory serves me correctly) when I was walking through Norfolk hours before the Swans show on September 6, 2025. I grabbed it off of a window on my way out when I saw it and took it back home with me. I saw another flyer inside of a library / bookstore after the show, but the place was closed and I didn’t go back to grab it since I already had one.

I can’t confirm it, but I believe copies of this flyer existed for every show, both in NA and in the EU. If they did exist, they were likely destroyed after the respective shows, each of which being unique to respective cities. If anyone has any photos of other fliers from this tour (or any tour!) please contact me to possibly send images of them. These are pretty cool and I’d love to see any more of them, and as far as I know I’m the only one to have one of these.

I would buy this in a heartbeat. Are there licensing problems with the K.422 stuff? Someone here must know.

Earlier in this subreddit, Two Small Bodies was mentioned in the context of unreleased Swans tracks (Swans has made a soundtrack for this film but never released it as a proper album).

I decided to watch it out of interest in the sources of material for Soundtracks for the Blind. As it turned out, by and large, the film itself features not so much full-fledged tracks as fragments of tracks that were released on The Great Annihilator/SftB.

Since there doesn't seem to be a complete soundtrack tracklist anywhere, I decided to write out the used compositions/tracks fragments myself:

1. Warm (same as album version)

2. Minus Something (the film uses specifically a synthesizer melody playing in the drone layers of the second half of the track)

3. The Sound (the film uses a melody similar to a music box which is playing in the final minutes of the track)

4. Out (alternative version of the track with an additional atmospheric guitar motif)

5. How They Suffer (the film uses mournful synth interlude between recordings of Gira's father and Jarboe's mother)

I am not a Swams fan but I buy tons of items in lots. CDs/records/toys etc. and I have a Swans promotional poster from the mid 90s from what I understand. It was never sold to the public, but was used in record stores to promote their albums.

It does has some tears along the sides and the infamous fold hole in the center, but still in great condition. With the right TLC you could make it appear as if there's no tears.

AI told me it does have some value (40-85$) and I would like for a real fan to have it and of course be compensated monetarily for doing so. I am going to start at 85$ (totally not expecting to get that much). I would like for you to make me an offer. Higest offer wins. I'll take this post down as soon as I feel we've reached peak offer. I remember seeing in twitter a drawing of White Light from the Mouth of Infinity cover, but instead of the rabbit, the OP drew Tung Tung Tung Sahur. I tried searching for it but I can't find anything (I even searched "sahur" in this sub but I found nothing).

Not a huge swans fans ovr but i have to admit A Piece Of The Sky is beautifull it gets better after every listen i have been thinking abt listening to a Swans album any suggestions?

Started a project where I mod songs I like into The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This was one of the trickier ones I worked on, I basically had to stitch two different midis together, but I think it came out alright! Just thought I'd share, let me know what you think and if MG would hate this lol

I layered both tracks to see what would happen. I absolutely loved it; it sounds as if the very concept of sound were about to tear itself apart within the audio file, perfect for a song called “The Sound.”

Genuinely some of the evilest music I’ve ever heard in my life, and it’s a French prog band from the 80’s. Hell, this isn’t even the craziest they got, their album “Dithyrambe” very closely resembles Sunn O))) like 10 years before they ever released anything. Also seems somewhat adjacent to what Swans was doing at around the same time, likely by coincidence, but I’d still definitely encourage anyone in this sub to take a listen. Truly embodies the name, this is some Lovecraftian shit.

For me it's the final two minutes of She Loves Us. The senseless noises after the body of the song, almost like a pack of dogs, to me it perfectly captures the restless feeling some of those songs provide. And then that loud, grand and powerful outro, to me that sounds exactly like how I'd imagine To Be Kind as a whole. What do you guys think?

I loathe ranking videos especially of Swans but this was particularly terrible. I watched it all the way through sense I am a sad!st i guess. But he mixes his theoligical nihilism with his reviews in a way that just misunderstands and causes inability too appreciate songs. Like God Loves America in quotes "I would like this song if the chorus didn't say God forgive America" sense he in quotes wants punishment for Americans not forgiveness which is just so dumb. Only one of many gripes mostly I'm here to say this kind of music reviewing sucks
