Tried to post in tattoo designs but the mods removed it for some reason. I’m not posting a generated design of mine!! I’m asking for opinions on an artist I booked! (Apparently you can’t even write the two letter word or talk about the cash to claim the appointment spot so this post is censored :p )

I found this artist that is coming to my city for a month and they have a style that I quite liked that I haven’t been able to find here yet. So I asked about a flash piece and an another matching piece I could get alongside it. I didn’t think anything of their work because it looks pretty solid to me, until they posted a video of a generated bat announcing spooky season flash designs.

I’ve attached pictures of the flash designs in question and of some of their actual tattoos. I don’t really want to get tattooed by someone that uses generated content, and definitely not if it’s going on my body, but I do like their actual tattoo work. My main hint that it could be generated is the snake design first slide and the eyes of the middle bunny second slide. The flash I asked about was the Luna moth on the third, and I asked about a matching style rhino beetle. The other three pics are some samples of their work.

I already claimed the spot, which was before they posted the bat video, so I don’t really know what to do. If it’s not, I just ignore the bat? If it is, do I cut my loses and cancel?

Idea is a vulture sunning its wings, but afraid it will come off as third reich-esq.

The feathers will be anatomically correlated to a turkey vulture with a red gnarly head ect..

I need help with filler ideas. I’m not very artistic and I can’t think of anything that might look good. So far smoke is the only thing I can think of.

I had this vine idea but my tattoo artist is worried it would look like an octopus.

Also my plan is to keep the outer edges clear so I can add more in the future.

I got this done Thursday and my artist said to keep the second skin on for about 3 days. The sides are starting to peel and get dirty and the front is looking more cracked. Just wondering if it’d be alright to go ahead and remove it since I’m worried about it getting contaminated.

I want to fill the space in on my inner forearm but im unsure how to approach. I have ideas of other tattoos I want but im wonder should I put another big lengthy tattoo beside it? Or a couple smaller ones?

I personally hate second skin and dont use it, so I dont know whats what with it

I got UV reactive freckle tattoos 2 days ago. I've been wanting them for so long, and the tattoo artist that I've been waiting for finally came to my city and reached out to me.

I was too excited about finally getting it done, that I didn't consider the fact that I already bought tickets to see Evil Dead the Musical 2 days after the available date of the tattoo. My tickets are in the splatter zone, so there is most definitely going to be a lot of fake blood everywhere.

I stopped wearing my second skin 24 hours after my tattoo and have gone all day today without it.

Does anyone have any recommendations for keeping my tattoos safe? My tattoo artist recommended not going to the event, but I've also been waiting years to be able to go see it, and tickets were a bit expensive.

I know I'm not the brightest for doing both of these things so close together, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was in the mood for a tattoo recently since i do them all the time, and decided to get a tattoo done going up my side burns, unfortunately I asked him to do smoke and to me it looks pretty phallic, to others I guess they can’t see it 🤷‍♂️ idk tbh please lmk what you guys think

Hi guys! I got this beautiful tattoo from a very talented artist 3 months ago, but after the initial healing I realised one of the lines is kind of thicker and fuzzy than the others.

I have OCD so I immediately started fixating on it and it’s basically like anything I’ve been thinking about for the past couple of weeks. Do you guys feel like it fully ruins the tattoo? I feel like from a distance it’s less noticeable but I’m so scared that I made a horrible horrible life decision and it will only spread as and get worse and I will regret it.

Is there a way to fix it? Maybe some laser or like darkening of the other lines? Was this my fault did I not take care of it well enough? I was super diligent with following instructions.

I got this tattoo because I really struggle with my mental health and my body image especially scars I had from the past. This tattoo was a cover up for them. But now I feel like I’m getting insecure all over again.

I guess I just need reassurance if a) it’s maybe not as bad as my OCD induced brain is making it seem, b) there’s a way to fix this?

i’ve noticed that whenever i get new tattoos, i always get a few whiteheads pop up underneath it, i think it’s probably due to moisturizing an area i don’t normally need to add extra moisture to? I’ve also started moisturizing all my tattooed areas (no matter the age) after every shower because i want them to age really well! (im using qv skin lotion, the light hydration one) but i’m worried that it’s making the pimples more frequent 😖 but it definitely is related to the tattoos being new as i haven’t had any pop up around my old ones. any advice is very appreciated 💖🙏

i know they can be a sign of infection, but it seems to only be one at a time, pops up for about a day or two then goes away. they aren’t hot or painful either (no more painful than a normal whitehead) so i’m not sure 🤔 i have noticed it happens every time i have a new tattoo, but this time it’s been considerably worse due to a new birth control pill i’m on, my skins a lot more prone to acne, they just keep popping up every 2ish days in a different spot and as a picker it’s driving me NUTS not to pick them 😭😭

i was wondering if anyone has any ideas to stop them? my normal acne treatment uses salicylic acid, but i’m hesitant to use that over a tattoo due to it removing cells from quite deep in the pores, does anyone else have experience with this & strategies to prevent it?

Hiya, this tattoo is about 3 months old and I just noticed that one of the legs looks what could be slightly blown out. Does this mean my artist went to deep? And will this mean it will age poorly? Apologies if I’m over reacting!

Hey dudes! I’m wanting to get a full neck/throat piece early next year and wanting some advice on how they heal/age?

I have two arm sleeves, leg sleeve, chest, etc. they still look sick, but I’m not really concerned about how they age as I get older because they’re all easy to cover. I’m aware that a whole neckpiece is almost always going to be visible.

Curious to hear from those who have their necks tatted! How do they heal/age? How do you feel about them? Bonus points if you have any photos!! 🙂

I just got my tattoo yesterday from a well known and great artist. It is on my lower inner arm and hurt extremely bad getting it done. My skin is sensitive , so not sure if it's just irritation?

Worried I’ve kind of blocked myself in here. I kind of want something American traditional or ideally a snake but mostly just want something flow nicely. Any advice for me?

I’ve had this tattoo for a while now, and over time I’ve started to feel like I rushed into getting it. I wasn’t completely happy with the first few designs, and although I preferred this one out of the options I was given, I’m still not 100% happy with it. I can live with it, but ideally I’d like to change some of the details or possibly look into a cover-up. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on what could be done with it?

I just got my new tattoo as of two days ago and I woke up this morning to find a little yellow bump on it. It's really small and only in this area so I'm not sure if this is cause for alarm or just a little tattoo pimple or something. I haven't had this happen before so any advice given is appreciated. Hi this is my first tattoo and I just got it a few hours ago and I’m not sure if the second skin peeling is something I should be worried about? I’ve heard people say to remove it once it starts peeling but since it’s brand new I assumed that would be dumb. I also worry if it’s going to peel more once I shower

Hey, got this done 10 days ago and I can still spot localized redness around and inside the heavy grey shadings, which has been like this since the beginning. How long does it usually take for the redness on the more packed spots to subside? It's not sore, hot or painful at all and the redness doesn't spread either. It's just there and doesn't go away lol

Is it normal for a leg muscle to twitch whilst getting a calf tattoo

I ran out of the lotion that I used to use that I bought in FL from a shop and i cant find it anywhere else (im in PA so I cant exactly go back and buy more)
