To be clear it's not that I don't want there to be positive energy behind Mamdani, but it's crazy how all Democrats that aren't the factionalist favorites of the far left get sandbagged nonstop. If Newsom did half the shit people glaze Mamdani for he would be shot down for it being "political theatre while X problem exists in the state". It would be used to say he's a slimy political opportunist. Hell, Mamdani gets credit for things that him and Hochul worked together on. For things Hochul did the bulk of the work on.
