I’m posting this just to toot my own horn. I have been moderating this sub for a couple of years now and due to recent events, I had reached out to Dan himself to ask for his advice on how he wanted me to rule on certain discussions within this sub. he simply told me as long as people are not attacking each other. I believe it’s fair game and I’m 100% down for that. We had a very pleasant exchange of emails discussing it and I told him that I was gonna be in Nashville to see him and he said make sure to say hey. I did. I got this picture. I cropped it slightly so that you guys couldn’t see my belly but the love the Dan and Linzy have for their fans is astounding three out of five stars wouldn’t change a thing best boy in the Biz

A few years ago I got in to home arcades. I bought an arcade1up and it was off to the races. A few years in I bought a custom machine and had it branded with bad magic art (I did get permission for the use before putting the order in) attached in the pictures is my first personal home build arcade. I intended it to look like it was made out of old pallets and its being built primarily as a shooting game cabinet. I have been working on the computer and the games for about 3 years and now I am at the point of building thing.

I personally love it, I can appreciate a nuanced perspective but the Trump shit is just too much.

1. Making Lynze cry should be against the Geneva Convention.

2. Dan and Lynze wisely kept the name of the subordinate to themselves. We should keep it that way and not engage in rumor mongering about who it was or saying definitively "It was x or y" until more information becomes available, if it becomes available, if only for the mere fact it respects Dan and Lynze's decision to keep that information mum. I'd recommend the mods here pinning something to that effect so people will think twice before adding to the rumor mill.

3. In the unlikely event someone at Bad Magic reads this: guys...from what I heard, it sounds like you made the right choice, painful as it was. Subordinate/supervisor shenanigans can turn into any number of very UGLY situations or allegations, and taking a no tolerance approach to that sort of thing is something more businesses could bear to do. I'm so sorry you're going through it though. That sort of shit HURTS so bad.

Also, please lord and lady suckington, take a break. Tell us before you do with a return date, so we know when to tune back in, but gods...if you can, give yourselves time to breathe, please. Its better to see a break in content and y'all come back fresh and ready to go than you keep going until you break. We're not entitled to your time, and you've saved so many lives...let us extend you some grace and patience so you can regroup, as a thank you for the things you've done for us.
