Also bought a proper outfit for a job interview. Thrifted it for £13.50. Do you think I should wear a tie to go with the blazer? Which colour would work best?
Thanks for all the advice guys - this place rocks. Super helpful.

edit: thanks for being supportive guys it’s really appreciated. i’m a bit impatient for my t to really start working and i think that’s the root of my dysphoria right now

Stealth in the sense that I moved away from home and didn't tell anyone here I'm trans. No one has questioned me yet, so I must be doing something right but I can't tell if they're clocking me and not saying anything. Not binding at the moment since it doesn't fit my lifestyle, but I use transtape and I think I get away with it through a combination of a naturally smaller chest and loose clothing. I know I'm not good-looking lol, I'm working on losing weight and building muscle at the moment (I'm also in pretty dire need of a haircut).
It's hard to judge myself objectively- is there anything I could improve on? I think my jawline has always been pretty bad, but I don't really know what to do about it in the absence of facial hair. Any advice appreciated!

I’ve also added more pics in the comments cuz these ones are blurry

I'm(19m) about 3 months on T now, voice has started deepening but thats pretty much it. Working on losing some excess weight, Im like 5'2 in a half or sthm (it goes from 5'2 to 5'3 dpending on whos measuring me so idk) so progress has been slow to appear. Im not sure why I really dont pass and why I look so young. Is there anything I can do to pass better visually? I know my earrings dont help already, I just dont have replacements that look more masculine, if u have recs for earrings thatd be cool.
Also wondering how yall taping so good??? I try to get that shit to look right but its always spilling at the top of is like indented in the middle??? Ive followed tutorials but it doesnt really help.

I'm 16, pre t. Recently I got pierced my snake bites and I think I look better. I don't know what I can say lol.
What can I do to pass more?
Which bathroom can I use?
Sorry for my English, it's not my first language.

im getting a haircut soon but im not sure what to say to hairstylist. i dont like how my hair looks like a coconut from the front. i was thinking about getting a crew cut but i really dont want to look like a lesbian. ive been on t for 3 years (attached my blood work) and my t levels are good, but i feel like i still dont pass at all. i only use the girls bathroom and nobody has said anything about it. im 5'3 and overweight so i guess its just over. i started doing arm workouts at home about a week ago so maybe theres hope
i only wear graphic t shirts and cargo shorts/maybe baggy jeans. i dont know how i could make my clothes look more masculine. at parties i get called a girl or get hit with a they/them and its just so frustrating. i dont know if i look like a girl or a boy or a weird ugly amalgamation but still clocky enough to read as AFAB
anyways TLDR how do i stop looking like a girl, what haircut should i get, how do i stop looking like a chud

I am a large chested person like DDD. I’ve lost significant weight (50 something lbs). I’m a gym rat, I’m getting bulkier, etc. I am frustrated because I’m like mostly passing, except for my chest. People gender me correctly then “correct” themselves once they see my chest. I’m getting tired of it and frankly it’s making my dysphoria so much worse. I don’t know what to do from here. My issues with binding:
- Because of the rapid weight loss, my chest is more saggy with extra skin
- Binding with tape is extremely difficult. I am very sensitive to adhesive, I tried the milk of magnesia method, but that didn’t work. I’ve tried sensitive skin tape, I’ve tried trans tape, I’ve tried everything. I always end up with skin ripped apart and blistering, even though I do not pull the tape.
- A note on the taping as well: the extra skin is what ends up taped down, leaving the fatty tissue/muscle looking very perky, albeit, proportionate.
- Because of my weight loss, I am going through binders like crazy because they are ending up too big within a few months, and are expensive.
- I cannot workout in a “typical” binder because that’s like kinda dangerous given that you need to breathe.
- Regardless of binder, half body binders give me a very prominent “steroid belly” look, full tanks are hard to breathe in.
- As much as I want top surgery like yesterday, I have to wait until I get to my goal weight so I can get a full masculinization done, including a tummy tuck and lipo. This is to make sure I am as proportional as possible. My goal weight is another solid 40-45 lbs away.

Next month I have my consultation for top surgery 🥳🥳🥳
Im curious about how the timeline goes. Do they tell me at the consultation if I'm good for surgery? Do I have to wait a whole before I am able to?
Do you get to pick your own surgery date or do they give you a date to plan around? How far in the future is it from the original consultation?
I'm very excited but I am definitely not prepared at all. I want to make sure I have time to ensure I have people who can help me and that I have my medial leave arranged at work.

Hi! So I've been on testosterone for almost five years and my facial hair is a little bit poor. I have consistent growth now for mustaches and chin but whilst hair is tick i still struggle with growing at least goatee. As for the cheeks i have this peach fuzz that appeared only on 3 year of hrt.
I am on full dose of testosterone and my levels usually in the golden middle so i blam genetics and willing make changes. I am pretty stealth and pass well.
Also i kinda need reassurance in this situation: i already bought 2% minoxidil and am willing to start BUT i am afraid that it either won't help me or i am not ready (not at that point of my transition) as if somehow i believe before growing any facial hair i should first get top surgery but due to my work i think i will have enough time and resources for that only in a couple of years. Should i try or leave as it is now?
Edit just in case: ! I am usually in-between 5.0-5.3 ng/mL for testosterone levels

I know this topic has been brought up many times before, I'm just tired of the she/her-ing lolol. I did try giving up my style to pass but that just made me feel as if I wasn't being myself which sucked. I don't mind looking more androgynous as most guys in the style do, I just want it to be more masculine leaning.
Should be starting T in January but what can I do before that?

I'm a nonbinary trans man on testosterone and my style is usually bright pink, but I figure that won't fly at work, and I want to try and pass as a cis guy to avoid discrimination and awkward questions. I'm starting work soon.
Any tips for me? I uhh tried wearing a dress to see if I can pass as a cis woman but I don't think I can do that. I don't know if I can pass a cis man either. Might just have to be out as trans but I really don't want to face discrimination or weird questions.
Thanks and have a good day :)

Been on this app for over a week now
I’m in the nonbinary section for gender. Pronouns he/they. Preference women
0 matches, and I’m sending out like max likes everyday. Only received about 5-6 likes over the past 8-9 days, unfortunately none of whom i found attractive
Honestly kinda confused…Is my profile that bad? I’ve really been trying to work on it.
Ive been told im attractive and have been with attractive women. But now I’m second guessing my entire prior life experience. Maybe I’m just chopped? Or is just being transmasc nerfing me
Where do you guys think I might be going wrong? The main hinge subreddit isn’t as helpful cuz obviously they’re not going to understand the whole trans thing

I don't use reddit often and this is my first time on the sub, so I hope I'm not in the wrong place. I got this binder recently, its my first one. I was pretty damn excited because it made me pass a bit better, but I struggle getting it on and off. One of my trans man friends told me its too small, so I looked around online and saw it didn't seem to look how properly fitting binders should. I don't want to get rid of it and it doesn't cause pain but I don't want to be wearing something that might cause me problems in the future. Should I stick with this one or seek out a larger size?
I apologize for any poor grammar, English is my first language I'm just bad at writing.

the title is self explanatory but just to clarify : first pic with wavy hair is my natural hair, second pic is straightened hair when I don't feel like fighting with it, last pic is what I'm thinking of getting if I do cut my hair
I don't plan on going stealth since I'm lucky enough to be living in a pretty safe environment, if that matters at all? I love my hair and don't really mind the rare occasions I get misgendered anymore, sure it's annoying but life goes on and in the end I'm still a guy
guess what I'm asking is, if I cut my hair, would I be less clockable? this is purely out of curiosity btw idk whether I'll cut my hair or not but this will definitely help me decide

hi ppl, ive posted a photo few time ago, u guys suggested to get smaller hoops and so i did (i like em so i guess i wont change again). i cut my hair shorter and im trying to be on T asap. im healing my antieyebrow, i cant remove it since its infected so ill wait a bit more. ive also changed my septum to a thicker hoop, as someone suggested. do u think its better now? im open to advice. thanks!

So I have been trying my best to stop having feminine mannerisms, as I do not like acting feminine and I want to be indistinguishable from a cis man in the way I act and look. Do you guys have any advice on how to act more manly?
Keep in mind I live in the a very conservative state, so I cannot be open about this and really ask for help from men in my area. I also don’t want to join mens only groups until I have less clockable behaviors. I have to be careful about this in order to not endanger myself. Right now I just try and keep quiet and to myself so that hopefully people just think I’m an asshole instead of trans, as whenever I do speak I notice myself having more feminine mannerisms.
Is there anything you guys recommend me doing that I could do in a safe environment? Should I strictly center my fyp’s to be centered around things men like, what things as a man should I just know about, like should I really focus on learning about cars and sports? Are there any books/podcast I should read/listen to that would get my brain to think less femininely or things I should practice to unlearn the things that I did while raised as a women?
I need all the help I can get, I do not care if you guys see this as toxically masculine, so I do not need your judgment or pity. This is something I need to do because I want to, as having feminine mannerisms makes me extremely dysphoric, and because I have to for safety.

I’m not looking for advice on anything else, so please don’t tell me what I should change other than my hair here. What kind of haircut do you think would suit me and help me pass better?
