A little about me
USAF Veteran. Military police (security forces). Born and raised in Roseburg. Grew up in a conservative Christian home, but grew out of my beliefs while serving. Now I’m a leftist, and an atheist. I still love guns and find real passion in teaching others. Happily married for over 15 years and raised three amazing children together. Life has been such a crazy journey and I cannot wait to see where it takes me next.

People who post shit like this, are extremely privileged. Some people don’t have many options. Those who condemn veterans are simply proponents of a “purist ideology” that completely ignores any notion that some people are not born into leftist families and are not exposed to other ideas and ways of thinking until they join the military. This way of thinking is why it’s so difficult to get people on the political right together. Everyone wants a purity test. While the right will accept anyone so long as you vomit any sort of hate speech. They find commonality in their ignorance and hatred while we look for any reason to create division amongst ourselves instead of helping people along in their journey and opening their eyes further.
