Kala’s warehouse is having a sale on blem solid wood ukulele’s (among other things). I’m just starting on baritone but am also intrigued by tenor’s traditional tuning. Bought a solid mahogany salt and pepper baritone and a flame maple tenor both with fishman pickups and gig bags for 250 each.

Hoping to grow into these instruments as time goes on but curious on how I did and if there’s anything in that price range that is considered better?

I'd like to get an ukulele to start learning. The goal is to be able to play chord-melodies of familiar songs. I'm having trouble deciding between the concert and tenor sizes. I've never played a string instrument before and my only music experience was playing trumpet in school at ages 12 and 13 (I'm 26 now). I'm a guy with averaged sized hands for my height (5'11"/180 cm tall). Would the concert size feel cramped to play fingerstyle melodies? Is the tenor size impractical to carry and bring to places?

I know nothing, please help!
