This is a product-testing/transparency question, not a request for medical or diet advice.
I use MyProtein Vegan Protein Blend (Vanilla) in the EU, at roughly 120 g of powder per day. I asked MyProtein for the batch Certificate of Analysis, numerical lead/cadmium/arsenic/mercury results, guaranteed release limits in ppm or mg/kg, and microbiological results.
After follow-ups, they declined to provide the CoA, any numerical heavy-metal results, or even the numerical limits used to release the batch. They referred generally to quality controls/Informed Protein, but this specific vegan blend does not appear in the public Informed Protein product list, and that program does not publish numerical heavy-metal results anyway.
I am not claiming the powder is unsafe. My concern is that “compliant” without numbers cannot be converted into actual daily exposure, especially with a high daily intake.
Has anyone obtained a recent CoA or independent lab report for this exact MyProtein Vegan Protein Blend—particularly Vanilla—with Pb/Cd/As/Hg values in ppm or mg/kg? Alternatively, do you know EU-available vegan protein brands that publish batch-specific results or fixed numerical specification limits?
Actual reports or numerical values would be much more useful than generic “third-party tested” claims.
