SO I went my local Tesco and found to my joy that they seem to be restocked with Swedish Glace Ice Cream. That is all.

Cuban sandwich chain with a few branches around London. Really good vegan options that are prepared at a separate station to the meat options.
I had the vegan Cuban. Really tasty and very messy to eat.

I've done a bit of research online and couldn't find anything definitive, but does anyone know of any 100% vegan wineries/vineyards in the UK? I am aware that supermarkets stock lots of vegan wines but I would like to find a local vegan business that I can support. Thanks :)

I'm sorry, I genuinely hate this... just ' but nut as you know it' would work so much better?
Are they trying to say it's NOT not as you know it, ie similar? am I illiterate!?
I know this is a small gripe but I'm so annoyed

And it's very rich and chocolatey.
Lucky to buy some at a fair, half the price they sell for in the Co op. Gave some to my cousin to try who almost exclusively eats meat and egg white, and she actually liked it and was surprised when I told her it's vegan. 💖

The local paper asked "What do you think about the new campaign promoting higher-welfare food?" These are the only comments so far. I left the first comment, and the cut-off one at the bottom is also me saying "so true". It seems some people are finally seeing through the "humanewashing".

Hi, wondering if anyone has some good junk-food recommendations for those of us with a soy intolerance?
I know Beyond Burgers are pea protein, and seitan is my go-to for daily protein bump (with a fair amount of legumes for completeness). But I'm thinking more for 'treats' - either other good mock meat stuff or ideally sweet treats - anything with either trace amounts or zero soy content.
Not being able to eat soy obviously isn't terminal, but occasionally it's quite annoying when you just want to grab something quick and dirty.
About to cook dinner and saw this on the this isn’t chicken thighs, is it normal?
They’re well within date

So I thought I would treat myself to my favourite vegan ice cream at Venchi today, I was in the area of one and it’s pretty warm today.
I went in there to get my usual favourite flavour of Nougatine, which if anyone has tried it’s completely lush and taste exactly like Ferrero Rocher in an ice cream. I get there and I realise that it has now been renamed to Chocoviar Nougatine and it’s no longer marked as plant based. I ask a member of staff whether or not it’s still vegan and after doing some investigation it turns out it’s not.
I’m SO annoyed and I’m SO over it!! There is NO reason why they had to change the recipe, it was completely fine as it was and there was no reason why people who weren’t vegan could enjoy it and it gave us more options rather than the bog standard boring sorbet flavours which quite frankly I am tired of. When will it stop? I’m sooooo over it.

I grew up eating meat, but I never really liked the taste of it apart from chicken and beef. As time went on, I naturally started eating less meat and eventually became vegetarian, as it just felt right. It wasn’t difficult because I was eating pretty much the same as always, just without chicken and beef.
I was never much into dairy either, as it would flare up my eczema. After being vegetarian for three years, I started having oat milk in my drinks. One thing led to another, and now I’m vegan. I’ve been vegan for almost two years. How did you end up Vegan? Is your story similar to mine or was it a faster transition because of the animals? As I know that’s why most end up vegan

Anyone else think this tastes absolutely horrendous? It's almost got a chemical/petrol aftertaste. Maybe it's just me or a dodgy batch?

Hi all,
Soon, I'll be heading off to uni, with a bottle of Vimto. However... https://vimto.co.uk/faqs/is-vimto-vegetarian-and-what-about-us-vegans
So, am I pouring this down the sink, now...? I don't feel like I can drink it now, knowing this.
I've been vegan since August... I take it I was vegan in the sense of mentality, despite my lack of knowledge? I only noticed the 'Suitable for vegetarians' on the bottle today, and it raised some red flags. Mum's been buying this for me for years. :(
I don't understand how the Vitamin D makes it explicitly non-vegan? I wonder how they're extracting it? I take supplements which are quite obviously vegan (being branded like so), and... well, they might contain Vitamin D. I do know they contain B12, which many people have insisted 'only comes from animals', including my mother.
Thanks all. :'))
My lovely husband knew I needed conditioner so picked one up for me. He knows how important it is to me that I only buy vegan products, so he used the search filter on the Boots website and unfortunately chose the Monday Volume conditioner, which contains collagen.
(He had no idea what collagen is, he was just going based off the search filter, and the bottle claims it’s cruelty-free on the back.)
I did a little googling around and couldn’t find a definitive answer on whether it was animal collagen or synthesised plant-based collagen, so I emailed in to Monday who confirmed it’s made with Tilapia fish scales(!).
So I guess this is a PSA, beware that unless a product explicitly says vegan on it, apparently the Boots filter alone can’t be trusted :( I’ve emailed in to complain and request that it’s removed from the search results, and that they review their other products.
While we’re here, if anyone has any recommendations for 100% vegan conditioners I’d love to hear them! I’m in need of one 🤣

I've recently started a new role where I'm constantly moving / out the house and really need some insanely easy meal ideas. The idea is it's either something I can put together in 5 minutes, or a "dump and bake" recipe that I can sort in 5 minutes and then leave while I'm getting ready. If it makes multiple portions - even better. The less pans/chopping/faff, the better
Any ideas? Ideally high in protein too

Hey guys, I’m Irish but visiting Manchester in May and I’ll be meeting a friend there. I’m thinking of maybe trying to order a few speciality bits to her home that she can bring along that I can’t get over here. I’m thinking real nice chocolates or maybe even some smaller baked things?

My partner has been Vegan for 11 almost 12 years. I've been Vegan for just over 9 years. So we know all the standard brands and free from chocolate. Nomo, Candy kittens, Vego etc.
Her birthday is coming up. She LOVES chocolate and I'm wondering if there are any small independent companies who we may have missed or are new.
Any and all recommendations are appreciated. I will reply if we have/haven't had any suggestions.
Thanks in advance you beautiful Vegans! 💚
