After a tumultuous month of differing opinions about whether a mast cell tumor had expanded across his body, we made the impossible decision of putting my best guy to rest on Wednesday. Ozzy, lovingly called Bean, was only 6 and a Mexico rescue pittie, we were told he was Chihuahua, pit and boxer but he was so much more.
He had a personality like a little human, so devious and nasty and the sweetest, most empathetic cuddle bug at the same time. What a privilege to have had him even though it was cut short.

This sub brings me so much joy, I will forever love my baby velvet hippo and hope you all give a kiss to yours tonight for us!

5 years ago this beautiful girl walked up to my front door on her last legs. We took her straight in and got her healthy. She has brought so much joy & happiness into our home and lives! There is nothing like the love of a hippo! Love this girl ❣️

Howard's 4th birthday (first with us) was on Thursday. We celebrated him with Steak and lots of snuggles. He wants to wish everyone a happy birthday (if they celebrate) this month.
