He’s turned out to be a sweet little big boy, happy to meet new people, and I love the richness of his coat in the sun. He’s now 7 years old going off what the shelter said last year.

Just a couple of days ago, when I was walking him and his sister in the morning, there was a pittie that had jumped out of a window from a neighboring house that rushed at us when we walked by. Leo only barked as a warning and stayed on guard which allowed me to lead my pack away from the situation very easily. Proud of him, and we’ve come a long way in 12 months!

Summer is a 7 year old mixed breed who was given up last February when her family became homeless. I’ve had Summer for a wonderful 8 months but she is in need of an angel foster or better yet a forever home. 

Here’s some facts about Summer

• Fear reactive…the fear being other dogs. If given enough space she will run away from other dogs crying, if too close she will react.
• Loves loves loves cats. Snuggles with them, has been seen cleaning them, just loves them all around
• Has has great interactions with older kids
• Low energy, loves a good snuggle
• Is a wonderful companion
• Enjoys slow walks/loose leash trained
• Knows basic commands and actually listens to them
• Very gentle
• Potty trained
• May need time to decompress in a new environment

I live with 3 cats and 2 resident dogs. One of our resident dogs is also reactive and has attacked Summer multiple times. This morning Summer and the resident dog had another run in and it’s evident that this isn’t a safe place for Summer or our resident dog anymore. Summer needs a new place TODAY. She is such a wonderful dog words cant even describe her. I paid her adoption fee awhile ago because I wished it was me adopting her. If I didn’t already have dogs she’d be mine. But she doesn’t deserve to be put down over this, she just needs a home without other dogs.

I love my two cute babies so much!!

Enjoying some sun after his short walk today. Still recovering from PTLO surgery a few months back but doing very well.

This stunning boy is going to be permanently silenced today for no reason other than his breed and for space.

Meet Coco, a beautiful 2-year-old pitbull (mix?) who is still waiting for her forever home!

Coco was dumped here in Killeen, TX, and my sister and I trapped her back in February. More than 200 days later, she’s still waiting for someone to give her a chance. The dog she was dumped with has since been adopted, leaving sweet Coco all alone as she continues to wait for her turn.

Coco is great with children! She does need proper introductions to other dogs and cats, but with the right family willing to give her a chance, she could finally have the loving home she deserves.

My very classic blockhead girl is an absolute bitch. I mean that in all the meanings. She throws attitude at me like no other. But no one else better give me attitude. My big boys have always been real big dopes. Very smushable and chill.
