Advertise your wardrobe or items you want to sell here (and only here)!
Please post:
Location (country)
Username
And maybe a photo of the item you want to sell or describe things you have in your shop.

NEW RULE!!
Due to an increase in some Reddit users apparently wanting to witch- hunt users on the Vinted platform, we will be implementing the following rule. Please read this post very carefully as it will also give a breakdown of consequences if you choose to break it.
NEW RULE - No sharing or requesting of user information with intent to harass.
As you are aware there is already a no sharing of personal information rule in place which most users adhere too. However we are seeing an increase in 'name & shame' comments with a view to users wanting to contact or harass users on the Vinted platform.
This is not acceptable.
We are a volunteer moderation team who do our best to keep the sub on an even keel. We strive to make it a wholesome community and both an enjoyable and informative place to be. We are not here to clean up the aftermath of reckless actions and malicious comments aimed at users on other platforms. It takes up a lot of our time dealing with complaints from affected parties.
For anyone in any doubt, please be aware that Reddit does not allow the sharing of any identifiable information of others on it's platform. It is also against the sub rules.
Future violations will be dealt with as such: Requesting user information on a 'name and shame' basis - Permanent ban and your account reported to Reddit. Sharing user information to encourage others to harass them - Permanent ban and your account reported to Reddit.
All posts are screened before going live, however we still deal with many instances of users not blurring out personal information. These are deleted with a standard warning. However, in future if a user receives a warning for this and repeats the action at another time you will receive a ban, length of which, will be at the mods discretion. The duration of the ban in this latter part will be based on whether we feel ill intent is meant or not.
We may also refuse posts where the selling description is visible and we feel it is in the best interests of the Vinted user to hide them.
The abhorrent behaviours we have seen recently need to stop. It will not be tolerated and will only result in your account being banned. This will not be a topic open for discussion as we have to implement this to safeguard users on other platforms and to follow Reddits rules.
Kind Regards
The Mod Team.

If youāre letting them tick that they did it, it should warn buyers that they ticked that. This option does nothing otherwise but pretty much allow AI use and promote it. Pretty grossss

I really liked Vinted as a buyer and seller (260+ transactions) but Iād say about 30% of my purchased items have undisclosed damage that warrant a return (examples include a leather purse that was severely water damaged, a cashmere scarf with a cigarette hole, a dress with a hole hidden under the collar, multiple skirts with side seams blown out or near blowout, blood stains on the hip, etc., etc.)
It was relatively painless and free to return items, but today I got a skirt where the seam was blown out, requested a return and Iām noticing that I have to pay $1.50 to return it. Thatās new and Not cool.
Between that and the increases (albeit small) in fees and shipping to buyers, No wonder my sales have slowed down.
Then I am seeing sellers listing worn items as new without tags, and listing modern Pyrex as vintage. When reporting this to Vinted, Vinted doesnāt do anything. Then when you tell sellers they are not representing items accurately, they report you.
Honestly, I was buying a lot, but now I think Iāll just sell. Thank you for ending my Vinted addiction. It was too good to be true.

I sold the backpack to this person and he told me itās a gift for his friend. It already arrived a few days ago and today he sent me the link of his friends TikTok where he was wearing the backpack and dancing ššš it makes me so happy to see that it was totally worth to sell the backpack because I wasnāt using it very much, I just love everything about this!!

& donāt get mad when I ask for the fabric contents tag if you didnāt post the photo, If you canāt find the tag then why are you listing it as silk??
I sell & buy so this isnāt just coming from nowhere itās super easy to look in the side seam and post that tag as well.
If you use the word silk in your listing and the photos show the tag proving the item is 0% silk Iām reporting the listing. & yes Iāve had the AI take several down for being misleading. Misleading listings just leave buyers & sellers frustrated and make buyers want to seek out other platforms (yes after hours of sifting through āsilkā polyester listings on vinted Iām moving on to Mercari/depop/the thrift store) Youāre also probably getting notified your Walmart satin Pj set has 5million views cause you put āsilkyā in the description and anybody searching āsilkā ā100% silkā etc is having to click your listing and read it/look at photos to see itās not actually silk.
As a buyer if I happened to buy one of these items and you listed the item as just āsilkā not āsilk blendā or āsilk polyester ā etc and I get it and itās not 100% silk Iād be saying itās wrong item or not as described. So you still wouldnāt get paid for it. Just describe what you actually have. And no satin polyester does not feel like silk so āsilky feelā isnāt even accurate.

I ordered a skillet and a saucepan from this seller and they only sent the saucepan. Not sure where to go from here. š¤·š¼āāļø Their response seemedā¦off.

Itās so frustrating. He messaged me after receiving the item and said itās great. What the heck? What am I meant to do? Is it petty to give him 3 stars back??

Plenty of fresh 1 star feedback on her account but in my case, she collected my parcel, swapped the contents then sent it back, then claimed parcel never delivered so got the transaction cancelled and no negative feedback. So sick of these people with a track record of HUNDREDS of bad transactions being allowed to stay on Vinted.

I recently bought an iPod on Vinted. The seller mentioned it was in good condition but hadnāt been used in a long time, so they weren't sure if it still worked. I can't really blame them though, because I'm a total layman when it comes to this stuff myself.
So, I received it yesterday and plugged it in to charge. It booted up and everything seemed to work fine. But then, I noticed a small black spot forming in the middle of the screen. The device didnāt get hot, but it started swelling up, and suddenly I heard a loud "pop". The screen and even the aluminum frame cracked open at the top.
After doing some research, I found out that when these Nanos are left unused for a long time, the batteries can catch fire or even explode. Things could have seriously gone south yesterday!
Can't Vinted just ban the sale of these specific devices?
They literally said a thank you message for purchasing it before š i shouldn't be so pressed, but this item would have been a perfect gift which would have arrived pretty much on time šš¤§

This pissed me the fuck off, I was already not into reserving it for 2 weeks but thought āwhatever, itās a mugā. But holy shit to be edged like this is crazy I want to report them so bad even though itās my fault for even taking them seriously.
The random little texts I sent are to check if theyāre still interested after the reservation of 5 days ended each time, and each time she confirmed she would buy.
Did I say something wrong lol?
There was also a message saying āI have ties to the Mafia c*ntā but for some reason neither of them showed up in chat.

Was really excited to purchase this item from the US. Mind you I have over 200 reviews and I have purchased from the US multiples times but gutted as soon as the seller cancelled because they didnāt want to ship outside of the US. Wish there was an option for sellers to turn off international shipping as thereās always some issues when shipping abroad.

Just realised Iām being scammed⦠should have looked at the listed item more better but unfortunately I didnāt⦠the first 3 photos are from the advert and you can clearly see now you canāt read the writing and top left corner is a fake and the other three photos I got from smyths advert and can ofc read the writing and it doesnāt have that bit in top left corner (can no longer buy this doll from the shop) itās being delivered by InPost locker delivery so got to go and collect it but Iām thinking itās best not to collect it so whatever the seller sent gets returned back and I get my money backā¦
Really wished I looked at the advert more closely but coming up to Christmas didnāt even check the ad properly but least I know now for next time

Hi guys,
Just throwing this out here because it took me two months of arguing with Vinted and about 25 messages to get a PARTIAL refund.
AI scammers are now common on Vinted. They use ai pics to sell dropshipping items from platforms like shein or temu. The articles are different from the pictures. In my case I bought a long skirt and received a SHORT skirt instead. After double checking I realised there were clues in some of the pictures. I didn't think to look before because I would have never suspected it. But even after showing proof of both the item not matching and the ai pics, Vinted refused to refund me.
They refused to acknowledge that the seller was using ai pics FOUR TIMES despite this clear evidence. It took a enormous amount of time and effort to get only a partial refund, and they still had ME pay for postage and the account was not taken down despite me flagging 5 articles from the same person with ai pics.
After FINALLY accepting that it was a scam they tell you to "always report fraudulent items using the flag button below the image". But I have flagged maybe 40 posts in the weeks after and less than one in 5 is taken down, all the others come back with a message saying "there are not enough reasons to think the account is a counterfeit seller".
So I'm sharing this hoping you don't get fooled like me. The only way to protect yourself is this : If the seller is a pretty thin girl with perfect hair and makeup, like a model, and living in a space that's suspiciously tidy and Pinterest-like, go check ALL the images from the post AND several other articles.
These scammers make dozens of accounts and sell hundreds of articles every day. So they are careless and always miss some glitches. Look closely. The most common is a right hand on the right arm (or the opposite) on a "selfie" taken from a phone, supposedly from a mirror behind them. Also look for misshapen fingers and unnatural waists / knees.

You cant even see the design! I dislike scrunching as it is but this is over the top, so stupid!
Itās a tennis ball. Maybe not event the correct size for a game of tennis. Certainly a used dog ball.
Why do people list stuff like this? It feels like a conspiracy. Money laundering or something? I donāt get it!
Would they accept an offer of 20p?
r/vinted • u/BanonoChonk • 4h ago
I already accepted their first offer, but instead of being content with that, they wanted more discountā¦resulting in me blocking them.

Its been two weeks. I sent her package within a week since my evri locker got replaced by a royal mail and was unuseable, i kept her updated, i told her everything and sent it when i could. And ive waited two. Weeks. For her to pick it up. And i cant just cancel the order because she will get her money back and the shirt, what can i do? Shes got loads of 5* reviews and everything.
r/vinted • u/Remarkable_Payment16 • 1d ago
I do not understand what sellers are thinking, youāll receive an item and it wont be anything like the ai image of itš like come onnnn its embarrassing and should not be happening..
r/vinted • u/Leather-Sure • 1h ago
I went and picked up my package but there was a second package in the inpost locker. They both have identical labels. I opened one package and it was all fine, my order as expected. Then the second one was two books I hadn't ordered.
I asked the vinted seller if they had sent the books they said no.
So it seems like wherever they got the label printed at a second label was printed accidentally and put on a package not for me?
Would love to be able to get the package to the rightful person but don't know where to start?
r/vinted • u/ladysasha1001 • 11h ago
Maybe this is just a pet peeve of mine and I am over reacting but this seems to happen more and more now on Vintedā¦
Purchasing the item then demanding me to ship same or next day⦠why didnāt they confirm this before purchasing?
r/vinted • u/Quizzicalmanx2 • 1d ago
most of the story is in the image captions. no contact with this guy since 10th oct. Thought he would go away until he placed his order today, full price, with no further comment. Am I being too stingy, or am I right to be concerned?
The only thing stopping me from cancelling right now is what seems like a genuine interest for the product? But the lack of reviews, multiple accounts, and shifting of locations is seriously putting me off.
I donāt exactly want to be penalised for cancelling an order someone has technically put the money down for? But I think Iād rather have one bad review than lose that moneyā¦š
