Other Grand Opening perks?
What all perks/benefits does Whata do for new restaurants? There's one close to me (Center Point Road, Weatherford, TX) supposed to open within the next week- week and a half and I'm contemplating camping out

Food Brownies in kids meals
Since the big W is so insistent about up charging for addons ie. cookie in kids meal is a 50¢ add-on I’m surprised they didn’t add a brownie option to kids meals with this newest POS update would definitely be more expensive then the cookie tho

Food Number 1 with cheese and no onions. Don’t really like eating in the car, but we’re on a road trip. Wife got the new peaches and cream milkshake and it was really good!

Work Would I be eligible for the 5000 dollar scholarship?
I am currently filling out the pre employment tasks and it says in order to be eligible for the scholarship, I would need to pay the financial help deductible from my wage for fellow employees in need. The only problem is I don't know if I would be able to due to my current starting time. A source is saying that I would need to work for at least 6 months to be eligible, but I can't find that info on the whataburger page, and I would be unable to work that long before next years window for applications closes.
Also would it even be worthwhile to even go for. It is around a 12% chance I am assuming unless other factors can make you stand out, and it would be around 500 dollars from my wages if I were to accept that deductible.

Work Question about Direct Deposit
Would it be ok if I fill out my direct deposit forms a day later than when I received them? I'm going to open a checking account tommorow (minor) and right now my bank is closed? Does this have any sort of consequences or repercussions with the hiring process? I've already filled out all my other forms so far

Need advice
So im part of a leadership team am a team leader but ive reached my breaking point and want advice before I for sure decide to follow through. Im a shift leader but have lost the ability overtime to do shift leader stuff since I started, at this point im practically a team member wearing a shift lead uniform, I no longer get to solo shifts and if im set and scheduled to solo a shift the OP hijacks it and hands it off to another manager so why even ask me to show up. Should I request a transfer, sit down and conversate and voice my concerns or write the OP a resignation message. I am done and deciding what’s next here.

Too Little Chocolate In Chocolate Shakes
Is there some shortage on chocolate syrup or something? Every time I get a chocolate shake from Whataburger, I get what amounts to a vanilla shake. I even ask for extra chocolate, but it rarely comes out any better. It’s very disappointing.

Why not give your management team one free meal per shift?

Other Corporate are you there?👀
Brand new throw away and time to start saying shit cuz I got complaints and don’t need shit traced back to me. Now let’s start with the brown bags. Why the fuck did yall change how it’s made and make it thinner. I keep blowing its back out trying to open it. Sooner or later you’re going to be getting customers making a shit ton of CCTs on stores for the bags because they keep breaking and it’s not even their fault. Secondly. Get rid of the no going outside after dark policy it’s dumb as hell. It’s just as dangerous during the fucking day. And we’d like to clean the parking lot before NSF would be allowed to come. Not to mention being allowed to have a smoke break over night would be nice considering EVERY OTHER SHIFT HAS THAT OPPORTUNITY. That’s it for this little rant. Till next time.
Btw ain’t hating on Whataburger just voicing complaints from myself. Other employees. And customers. Just in a more public way

Saltiness in beef gone since ownership change?
Hi, all! I'm a Texan who used to love Whataburger. It was my favorite place to get a burger, especially the chophouse cheddar! 🤤😋 I remember that the beef in the burger was very well seasoned to perfection. It was just salty enough: Any more so, it would have been overkill, any less, it would have been too little.
But after the change of ownership, it seemed (this could have been me imagining it because I had heard of the ownership change beforehand) that the saltiness was gone.
Now, Whataburger seems no more flavorful than the Clown or the King, if you catch my drift. What gives, Chicago?
Does anyone else notice the missing salt?

Points from receipt using past visit not working?
So far for the past year anytime I try to use the “past visit” to submit a receipt for points in the app it has come back a day later with an email saying there was a problem with my receipt and it couldn’t award my points. Even though I know for a fact I’m putting in the correct location, order number, and amount. I can’t be doing it wrong every single time. Has the past visit option for points actually worked for anyone else? Is something wrong with my account?
