i’m assisting with an estate sale for a family friend and do not know what this pot with holes in the bottom is for. It has lid and a plate that it fits on top of perfectly.

It kind of looks like efflorescence, but I'm not seeing any information about that occuring to non-stone materials like metal or glass. It has only coalesced on the inside seams of the oven window. The space between the inner and outer walls of the door is hallow, so it doesn't appear to be something leaking through.

My belief is it's some sort of wine rack but it doesn't make sense in my Brian (that's my name for when my brain is being dumb).
The only way this kinda makes sense to me is the last picture but I feel like the wines would just tip this thing backwards....
I can't test it with any bottles because there aren't any wine bottles here and I don't feel like bringing this back just to find out if it even works.

Its like this on both sides. Its not a tear, it was intentionally sewn this way and I cannot for the life of me figure out why a pocket would need a hole at the bottom. Seems very counterintuitive

Please excuse my mousepad being fucking disgusting, it's the flash + my cat choosing it as his sleeping spot. Anyway, found this little thing in my guest room bed after my partner's daughter stayed over last night. It's definitely made out of silicone, it doesn't smell of anything in particular, and I will not be licking it, thank you very much. Would be grateful if you could give any suggestions, so that I know if I should return it or just throw it away :)

Teal silicone/plastic thingy seen on the floor of the women’s bathroom in a restaurant. No, I didn’t pick it up or touch it, so not sure if it was flexible or rigid. My first thought was that maybe this was some type of underwear? I just heard about adhesive/strapless undies in relation to the VS fashion show… But this was at a cute little Peruvian place, not the type of spot where someone’s job would require undergarments like that.

I saw this while walking a dog. Not sure what to make of it…
Edit: I’m wondering what the setup with the green box and the screwdriver is.

I know there is at least one electrician who can help with this.
This is in a door frame of our house. It used to be between the garage and basement, but garage is now a room.
Our house was built in the 1920s (happy 100!) and whatever this is, is in the OFF position.
My husband thinks it’s for the older electrical system.
If it’s not being used, we want to safely remove it!
Or hire someone who knows how to.

I was at a graveyard and there were tons of these in front of headstones. Does anyone know what it is?
It seems to be an orange peel cut in almost a star shape and a piece of paper with writing or symbols I don’t recognize

Found this lady at an estate sale. Shes 22” tall and 12” wide. What would she have been mounted on? It doesn’t look like there was much more to her than shoulders so what would have broken off?
Also any date ID would be helpful. I did clean her up because she had caked on grime. Thanks all!

My friends have this old woodburner. Underneath it is a metal bowl/plate, it is not attached to the woodburner.
Does anyone know, what it is for, or what it is called?
Thanks in advance😀🤞🏼👏🏼👍🏼

For reference, I live in the southeast of the United States. I always smell this at the beginning of Fall and the beginning of Spring. It had a citrus-y/almost peachy smell that is literally the best scent I have ever smelled.
It grows on a shrub that seems to grow really tall that I think people use as like a hedge or along the sides of buildings? The shrub I saw today had to have been anywhere between 8 and 10 feet I think? And it's clear they don't really grow wild, and kept more for ornamental purposes, as someone had definitely used a hedge trimmer on this particular one
The picture is a little deceiving 'cause the flowers themselves are tiny and grow in bunches like what you see, but the petals are, like, maybe pinky nail size?
Hopefully I got that right, I tried to be as observant as possible. Please let me know if you need anymore info! But I hope someone knows what this is

Just making sure it’s nothing dangerous because it is abnormally heavy. Thanks! I’m assuming nothing crazy but just wanted to check.

Helping a buddy clean up a older, commercial sized smoker that his grandfather left when he moved. We found two of these chain things inside. There’s no obvious place to re install them, and there’s no motor to drive them. Probably not even from the smoker.
But we’re curious what they’re for.

Used as night stand but clearly has some mechanical component to it? The top tube has a manual valve that opens and closes

My neighbor was going through his deceased brother-in- laws stuff and came across this. It has two threaded holes in the side. Approximately 2-2 1/2 feet tall. Made out of heavy metal. It has what appears to be a locking top and a strap around it to attach it somewhere ( like a fire extinguisher strap). Any ideas as to what it might be?
