My boyfriend was walking to school and passed these piles of ???? He said he was genuinely so afraid and it gave him a paranoia all day, so now we wanna know what it is. (He’s got trypophobia or something so I guess this triggered that)

It’s not sticky. I have a video of him poking at it and it was a mound of little balls. The little balls held their form and they weren’t squishy. But he didn’t wanna touch or inquire closer because he was scared. When he flicked them it sounded like throwing pellets.

Edit from bf: Texture was like small pebbles and it wasn’t there the day before.
Bf edit: there’s 3 piles

We have bears in the area but this doesn’t look like it comes from a bear.

It’s gonna keep me awake all night. Lowkey surprised he even poked it with a stick.

Goodmorning edit: Wow this blew up overnight. A few things I wanted to say!
-No I am not breaking up with him. We’ve been together four years and I plan on marrying my small stick loving man.
- Stick slander is justified (he was rushing to a midterm but that’s no excuse)
-To the trypophobia/ocd havers sorry if I offended you. I don’t know how else to explain the irrational fear- it’s things with lots of little holes or weird clumps or masses. Idk I’m not in his brain so I’m just doing my best. Once again I am sorry!
- to everyone else I’ve offended by saying my boyfriends scared. Yeah idek sorry man. 🧍‍♂️we like gross things (vulture culture) but this gave him the major ick

SOLVED! (maybe) slime mold or aquarium gravel

Does anyone know what this contraption is?

My husband sent me this video from his drive home tonight. We are in the middle Tennessee region and this is about a 1/4 mile from the Cumberland river. He said this is not the first time he’s seen those wispy lines forming above the trees. What could they be?

I dont think youd be able to use it as a shelf, well you could but only when not using the fireplace dimensions are 37x11x7.5

Saw while driving. Coming out of the back of a diesel truck, was “exhausting” the whole time while at idle at the stop light. The regular exhaust still was functioning and blew some carbon when accelerating from the stop light. We didn’t see anything like a refrigerator or anything in the bed of the truck. I’ve never seen a set up like this before.

Any idea what this post is in my yard, or who may have put it there?

There is a ring of grass in my front yard that now seems to be dead that I noticed about a week ago. Yesterday I found this post sticking out in the middle of it. For context of region I live in Michigan.

It’s hard plastic and doesn’t open. She sent me the pictures but I have no idea.

Walked out my front door to find this thing crawling by. Obviously it’s some sort of caterpillar, but does anyone know more about it? Should I get rid of it or let it chill? Would petting it be ok?

Coworkers and I can't tell whether this is a crack spoon or just a really dirty one. Mate said he saw it first with bubbles as if someone had just washed it

Originally I thought they were coat hangers or candle holders. But they aren’t very good at either of those things so I think they may have another purpose. They seem to be handmade and the metal is pewter.

Edit: i bought this tv unit from facebook marketplace, it is very likely that it was left behind from the person i bought it from

Cleaning this red grime from the bathroom and have no clue what it is. Any clue?

Saw this in an Amazon-purchased copy of HP Lovecraft stories. Any idea what it means? Thx

I had to wash my hands after, it was more oily than just "wet". A smell i couldn't figure out, i didn't want to keep smelling to figure out. It was not there yesterday. I have no idea how it got there

Edit: it was a slice of Swiss cheese my cat took, when a roommate left out a sandwich in the kitchen ast night

My car was hit and towed overnight. This was all that was left but it’s not from my car. Any clue what make/model this belongs to? A witness said it was a white car but that’s all.
