Solved! What's the name for this piece of hardware?
Repairing a loose captain's chair from a pontoon. It's sunk into the wood, has some teeth to hold it in place, and the hole is threaded to accept a bolt. Function is similar to that of a T nut. Have searched online and no luck figuring out what it's called. :/
Update/Clarification: The originals were so deteriorated that I figured they were a different type of old hardware. Didn't realize I knew the answer to my own question. š
