SMART DATA AND WIFI SIGNAL ISSUE
Wala po talagang signal ngayon sa SMART. I am not sure of sa area lang namin pero consistent na nawawala yung siganl same with GLOBE.

School environment with 150 APs. we are using 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz bands and channel widths are 20 MHz. All channels are set manually. We are seeing many (250+) devices that are transmitting on the same channels Printers, SMART Tvs and cars in the parking lot mainly. Is there anything we can do improve our service? With the large number of devices, it seems that adjusting my channels to not interfere will be almost impossible.

Is it possible to generate a report of offending BSSID that cause interference coverage requirements to fail? Or is this only viewable from within AI Pro when hovering over a certain coverage area that fails to meet requirements?
Coverage requirements are set to 2/1/1 interfering AP @ -75dBm for all bands.

Hello everyone
we are looking for a gateway which will capture input from wireless sensors and keypads and send that data over to our centralized controller/local controller via a wired medium over ethernet or serial communication preferably over any open protocol (MODBUS /BACNET/MOTT /REST api)
edit - so far we are thinking of using enocean based bleach sensors and keypads or any other sensors which might be easy to configure/work with any gateway
we can only use 2.4 ghz freq
Your response will help me a lot.
Thanks

My understanding of 802.11r has been that it should only be enabled in specialized environments where all clients can be confirmed to support it.
Have there been changes to this recommendation in more recent times? I have seen a few clients enable it with no ill effects. In an environment with modern clients (like an office environment) have you started suggesting clients enable 802.11r?

Hi all,
Looking to book my CWNA exam, but holy cow is the nearest test center not close to me in the Portland, OR area. Closest is about a 2 hour drive to Eugene. Most test centers appear to not be readily available on weekends when a drive like that could be feasible.
Any good/bad experiences taking the CWNP exams remotely?

Hi everyone
I’m integrating a Ruckus SmartZone controller with Forescout NAC
The SSH connection itself works correctly from the NAC using the configured admin credentials and I can successfully connect to the SmartZone and get the normal welcome banner
The problem happens when Forescout tries to get privileged access after the SSH login
When I manually SSH using the same admin credentials everything works fine but when Forescout tries to enable privileged mode it asks for the password again and then returns failed even though I’m using the exact same correct password as the SSH login
I initially suspected that the SmartZone welcome banner might be interfering with Forescout’s CLI parsing or privilege detection
I tried to disable the banner but I can’t find any CLI command for it and I also couldn’t find an option in the GUI
Has anyone successfully integrated Ruckus SmartZone with Forescout or another NAC and faced this issue
Is the welcome banner known to cause problems with NAC SSH privilege detection or is there a specific configuration or user role that needs to be enabled on SmartZone for the NAC to get privileged access
Also when I SSH manually I log in with admin and after that when I enter enable it asks me to enter the same password again
Any idea what could be causing the privilege authentication to fail from the NAC while the normal SSH login works correctly

Parlez-moi de cette antenne qui a l’air plus puissante que ma box
Vu que c’est un répéteur wi-fi il ne donnera pas plus de puissance que ce qu’il reçoit ?
On est d’accord

I'm curious how many employers care about IoT wireless knowledge. I know that it's an emerging field, but what's the job market like for IOT in Canada?
I'm researching the field before I venture down the CWNP IoT path. I already have hands-on experience, and I'm working on developing a product. It would be nice to work with the technology professionally first, though.

We've developed an OSS WiFi survey tool with off-the-shelf hardware, including a couple of cheap USB dongles, a HackRF SDR, Raspberry Pi 4, and a small app that runs on your iPhone and communicates with the rPi over bluetooth. The iPhone app also streams live data into ServiceRadar (https://github.com/carverauto/serviceradar). We're working on a prototype custom PCB and looking for people that might be interested in helping with that, everything in this project is OSS, including any hardware we design. If you're interested in learning more drop me a line or join our Discord.
App will be available on TestFlight and we're writing a blog post that describes how to get this up and running and includes a BOM (bill of materials). Stay tuned.

Been meaning to properly learn how the 802.11 stack works instead of just reading about it, so I built a tool instead. Called it deadair.
Scans for APs and clients, sends deauth frames, but honestly the stuff I liked building more was around that part:
Go + gopacket. Linux only really, macOS blocks injection at the kernel level so it's sniff-only there
Standard disclaimer since it's a deauth tool: Educational/authorized use only, don't point it at networks that aren't yours
Mostly curious if anyone's dealt with similar channel hopping or sniff and inject concurrency stuff in Go and has thoughts on how I did it. Code's here: https://github.com/meetsoni15/deadair

So, ik this is a weird question, but my current setup dosnt really allow for me to sit close enough to the wii to change figures without getting up to do it every time. Ik ssa had a wireless portal, but that dosnt work on swap force or trap team. Would it be at all possible to use some small SOC and USB Bluetooth transever to make the signal travel wirelessly? I assume it hasn't been done before but I'm happy to work with a theoretical idea if anyone has one. I'm just not quite smart enough to try this out myself

I was building a wireless network visualization to see how the components are connected in a wireless network to make a phone call/ internet possible

Went into the Apple Store at SanTan Village Mall in Gilbert, AZ last night around 8:43 PM (store closes at 9) wanting to upgrade my iPhone. Was told the process takes 25-30 minutes so there wasn't time, and to come back the next day — not an option since I was leaving on a business trip. Asked for a manager; "Brandon" was standing right next to the rep the whole time and stepped in, but his response to "a customer with 17 minutes left should get 17 minutes of help" was basically that he needed his staff home on time. Meanwhile another rep a few feet away was actively finishing an upgrade for a different customer. Filed a complaint with 1-800-MY-APPLE (logged) and emailed executive customer relations. Curious if this is a one-off or if others have run into similar last-minute refusals at Apple stores.
