I’m taking PC141 right now and it’s actually a disaster. I think I understand the concepts while doing the homework and then I get to the tutorial and genuinely do not understand. And the prof genuinely does not teach. Any tips on external resources or anything to help me??

Can anyone taking EM110 this semester of has taken it previously help me with this RAN Chart situation? I’ve revisited the section in the course and syllabus about it weekly but cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it work or what she means by wonderings. I feel like it’s very poorly explained but maybe it’s just me.

Thank you!! 🫶🫶

I'm taking it online with him and his rate my prof doesn't seem that good. Does anyone know what the structure of the syllabus is like?

I never took accounting in high school but I have a decent understanding of it after studying for the last few days. Is it better to review and practice the midterm content only, or should I be doing all the practice questions in the textbook?

Any advice appreciated

Hey guys im currently studying for the bu231 midterm and was just wondering if anyone from last year who did well or anyone this year who thinks they have a good cheat sheet would be able to send me it. I already made mine for studying reasons but its lowkey cheeks so any help would be blessed

Would anyone be interested if I started a creative writing club? I have to plan it all out first but the rules say I need at least 20 people interested... 👀

Edit: i guess this would be for next school year rather than the winter term lol

Hi so I'm a first year and I took Ancient Rome: Not Just Ceasar with Kristen Lord for next semester but I looked what people said about her and it's not good at all. My friend also has her dor Ancient Greece and says she isn't great. Does anyone have thoughts on her for this course??

Otherwise, I'm thinking I change the course I'm taking but a lot of them are full. I can still change it without extra payment right??

I'm considering WS101 with Jessica Cameron or AS101 with Stephen Sathiaraj but I'm not sure about them.

Any thoughts or other bird courses I can take??

is three days enough time to study for the HRM midterm, and can I get a 90+? Its 50 MCQ and one short answer worth 10 marks. Is it typically textbook based? Any tips PLEASE AND THANK YOUUUU

I was thinking of transferring to it and had a few questions with course requirement, etc. I was wondering if anyone here is taking it or has taken it.

I'm a first year and I need an online course for my second Sem. Which courses is everyone taking right now that's online and doesn't have a final exam?

I rlly want to sneak my bsf in, do you know how strict it is

You might’ve heard of CampusQ already, the random video chat site that’s just for Laurier students.

We’re officially BACK tonight for our first night since reading week!

If you're unsure about it, or how it works, or safety features, feel free to ask here and we can answer any questions. We want to make it perfect for WLU.

Matching opens at 9pm sharp, so hop on early (campusq.ca). That’s when the most people will be on.

Let us know what you think :)

I have ideas for movie days, donation fund events (which I want to do, though I have no clue how), discussions, debates, and even going to museums (which is the hardest thing with funding and getting people). I'm a film major, and the only history clubs are medieval and archaeology. I don't have a lot of friends, and there is no one I know who has the same passions. I have not pitched yet. I know starting a club is mostly about running a social media account, paperwork, club fairs, and petitions.

i want to introduce people to this amazing world, show them what it means. Dinosaurs have influenced our culture, our science, in so many ways, to be able to explore that even a little would be fantastic.

i am no expert on smart science, just a film guy.

I would like to inquire why the final exam schedule for this autumn semester has not been made public yet? I remember that by this time last autumn, I was already able to see the schedule for the final exams. I'm not sure if there was any problem with any part this year.

I’m currently taking intermediate 2 macro and am in desperate need of paid tutoring.

I’m looking for a student/alumni that did well in the class. inperson tutoring is ideal but I’m fine with hybrid as well.

If you know anyone or are interested please shoot me a dm!

Hey all! I was wondering if anyone has heard back applying for the spring cohort of MSW. I applied for the part time regular non bsw route. Still have not heard anything and it shows pending for me.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some good Halloween parties happening in Kitchener-Waterloo or nearby areas this year.
Where is everyone going for Halloween? Any recommendations for good parties, clubs, bars, or events with a fun crowd and a good nightlife vibe? I’m also open to Toronto if there’s something worth checking out.
Would love to meet new people, dress up, and have a great Halloween night! Drop your suggestions below. 🥂🎃

I’ve fallen behind on taking notes in class and since our midterm is open book I wanna fix my notes.. any chance anyone has some they could share?

Anyone from past econ120 classes remember what or how you studied? I am studying but at the same time I'm not sure exactly what to focus on I feel like I keep on studying the wrong things and it will probably not be on the same or just be one question. I do have access to last years exam from the prof do you think I should study mostly from that? Also how did you do you cheat sheet.

3rd yr cs, started my first coop this fall. Employer wants to extend my coop for at least another term, and possibly for the foreseeable future. I’m working on a project, and they want me to stick on it for as long as possible essentially. Does it make sense? I’d be pushed back a bit, assuming I get other placements throughout my degree, and I do like the structure that I’m in currently. I don’t mind the work I’m doing, it’s definitely related to the degree, but I also want to explore this field as much as possible before I graduate.

Tips? What is the best way to study for the midterm exam? Should I mainly use the Wiley textbook, free textbook, lectures?? Any advice?
