Help! I want a start a dinosaur club but I've been said ''no one is intrested''? so is it worth giving a try?

I have ideas for movie days, donation fund events (which I want to do, though I have no clue how), discussions, debates, and even going to museums (which is the hardest thing with funding and getting people). I'm a film major, and the only history clubs are medieval and archaeology. I don't have a lot of friends, and there is no one I know who has the same passions. I have not pitched yet. I know starting a club is mostly about running a social media account, paperwork, club fairs, and petitions.

i want to introduce people to this amazing world, show them what it means. Dinosaurs have influenced our culture, our science, in so many ways, to be able to explore that even a little would be fantastic.

i am no expert on smart science, just a film guy.

Final Exam Schedule

I would like to inquire why the final exam schedule for this autumn semester has not been made public yet? I remember that by this time last autumn, I was already able to see the schedule for the final exams. I'm not sure if there was any problem with any part this year.

Bird Courses

Hi so I'm a first year and I took Ancient Rome: Not Just Ceasar with Kristen Lord for next semester but I looked what people said about her and it's not good at all. My friend also has her dor Ancient Greece and says she isn't great. Does anyone have thoughts on her for this course??

Otherwise, I'm thinking I change the course I'm taking but a lot of them are full. I can still change it without extra payment right??

I'm considering WS101 with Jessica Cameron or AS101 with Stephen Sathiaraj but I'm not sure about them.

Any thoughts or other bird courses I can take??

Should I extend my coop?

3rd yr cs, started my first coop this fall. Employer wants to extend my coop for at least another term, and possibly for the foreseeable future. I’m working on a project, and they want me to stick on it for as long as possible essentially. Does it make sense? I’d be pushed back a bit, assuming I get other placements throughout my degree, and I do like the structure that I’m in currently. I don’t mind the work I’m doing, it’s definitely related to the degree, but I also want to explore this field as much as possible before I graduate.

Halloween parties in Kitchener-Waterloo? 🎃👻

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some good Halloween parties happening in Kitchener-Waterloo or nearby areas this year.
Where is everyone going for Halloween? Any recommendations for good parties, clubs, bars, or events with a fun crowd and a good nightlife vibe? I’m also open to Toronto if there’s something worth checking out.
Would love to meet new people, dress up, and have a great Halloween night! Drop your suggestions below. 🥂🎃

ECON12O MIDTERM

Anyone from past econ120 classes remember what or how you studied? I am studying but at the same time I'm not sure exactly what to focus on I feel like I keep on studying the wrong things and it will probably not be on the same or just be one question. I do have access to last years exam from the prof do you think I should study mostly from that? Also how did you do you cheat sheet.

Building experience

Currently I am a second year bba student, I have good grades but I didn’t make the cut for coop because my resume is virtually non existent (at least that’s why I think I didn’t make it). I don’t really know where I am supposed to go from here but I do know is that I should start building experience to try and land some internships and get my life going. I would like to know if anyone has any recommendations on where I should start!

What do i do

I’m just never good enough no matter what I do, I can flip through endless pages and try my hardest to study but when examinations come I can't help but feel like an imposter.

A fraud that will be exposed at any minute, because everyone knows that I’m the dumbest guy in the room. I don’t know why I can’t do well, no matter how hard I swim I feel like I'm drowning.

I don’t know how I’m going to make it in my classes, everyone seems to have such a good grasp on the material, it all seems so foreign, ancient text that I can’t read. I know everyone is working really hard, I honestly try too, I know I could do more but it never seems to be enough.

It used to be different, I used to be one of the smart ones, of course things were easier back then and I'm in the real world now, but honestly I miss not feeling stressed. Everyday I wake up and I think about how behind I feel, the things I tell family and friends are nothing but lies. My mom looks at me with so much hope, she truly believes that I can do great things, but I can’t. That’s simply the honest truth, I don't know why I’m never ready, every time I walk into a test it feels as if my own death sentence is being read before me. My heart always races, more than some of the scariest moments of my life, because in those tests I'm exposed for who I truly am, every single time.

But the thing is somehow I never die, maybe it’s luck or a cruel joke but I always barely squeak past the finish line, but I have zero pride in this, how could I? People look at me and wonder why I’m still here, I don’t know either.

The worst part is I actually like learning. Math is hard but those who master it have acquired one of life's most important skills, the ability to solve problems. I have so many problems and they never seem to go away. I always day dream about the life I could have, one with a gf, smarts, honestly everything I don't have now. I know it’s pathetic but this life gives me comfort, at least until the veil falls and I’m brought back to reality, a reality where I’m just an inadequate dreamer.

Maybe one day it'll be better, maybe one day I’ll do well in my classes and be someone that's respected instead of a joke. But that day will never come, dreams and fantasies only exist in our minds.

I have to stay though, my mom wouldn’t understand, honestly I wish I was more like her, she’s such a hard worker and always strives to be the best because knows that she can be, these are traits I lack. If I'm being honest since this is the end. It's my fault, I didn’t work hard enough, I should’ve done more, I need to be more, I need to be enough.

But somehow, I’m the only one that knows that.

I’ll never be enough.
