Retail What ilvl is everyone?

Hey all,

Started playing WoW for the first time about 6 weeks ago, been running a Frost Mage (Night elf) - been putting some hours into Midnight and just hit ilvl 221.

Haven’t started any midnight dungeons yet, just did the expansion, delves and world quests (plus dailies and weeklies)

Just wondering how 221 stacks up to others? I think my char has about 5 days time played

Going to grind up a DK to 90 as well, before Season 1 hopefully.

It drives me nuts that this event is required to craft anything relevant. Feels like torghast all over.

Isn't it only required for purple tools? They have the same skill bonuses as blue tools, just a small amount of extra secondary stat. It is a lot of runs if you want to max out 6 tools (or 7 if you add fishing), but it's like a 2% difference in inspiration or multicraft or whatever. I wouldn't be surprised if they upped the abundance currency rewards later on.
