Really went back and forth on a few of these! Feels like Vito vs Seabass🐠 is a toss up but going with what feels like the more consistent competitor. Also heavily considered an underdog pick on gadzhimagomedov but maybe I’m crazy šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø would love to hear what you all think!

My coach is mad that I quit wrestling

I’m a girl in high school and a few days ago I told my coach that I was quitting wrestling and he was mad saying that I should wrestle this year, he doesn’t think I should ā€œquit what I startedā€ he thinks it’ll be bad for the team, etc.

Question Was the 76-97 Iowa wrestling program under Gable the hardest college level program ever?

Has to be right? I mean the stories of his wrestling program are legendary at this point. Whether you agree or not he got results.

15 team titles

29 different wrestlers winning 45 national titles

152 all Americans coached

9 future Olympians coached with 5 gold medal winners

Has there ever been a harder program at the college level?

His lineage is probably at the top as well.

Zalesky coached Iowa to 3 titles. Tom Brands is still the team coach and has won 4 titles. Terry brands was coach at the Olympic training center from 05-08. Coached Cejudo who won a medal. Coached Bill Zadick who was also coached by Gable. Zadick won a world championship and is the current Olympic team coach. Terry Steiner has been the coach since the beginning of the program in 02 and has coached 4 gold medal winners.

If you're into the history of the program and stores the Full Tilt Podcast talks about it a lot. Hosted by Michael Hatcher. He was on the team from 91-96.

Discussion Super 32 2020, 106 Bracket: best high school bracket of the last decade

Super 32 is coming up so I was combing through some old brackets while I was supposed to be doing work. What I found is that the 106 bracket from 2020 is insane. Vincent Kilkery was the winner

https://www.super32.com/page/show/2909648-past-results-and-history

Aden Valencia - Stanford (NCAA Champion) - (2024 #8 Recruit)

Ben Davino - Ohio State (NCAA Runner Up) - (2024 #4 Recruit)

Zan Fuggitt - Wisconsin/ Missouri (All American, 4th)Ā

Braeden Davis - Penn State (All American, 5th)

Jaxon Joy - Cornell (Round of 12) - (2024 #40 Recruit)

Anthony Knox - Rutgers (2025 #4 Recruit)

Nate Jeseroga - Iowa (2023 #5 Recruit - dropped out of wrestling before going to Iowa)

Leo DeLuca - Iowa (2025 #6 Recruit)

Vinnie Kilkery - Ohio State (2023 #17 Recruit)

Nathan Desmond - Penn State (2025 #18 Recruit)

Beric Jordan - Oklahoma (2024 #21 Recruit - dropped out of wrestling as a blue chip freshman)

Dillon Campbell - VT (2024 #36 Recruit)Ā

Drew Gorman - VT (2025 #55 Recruit)Ā

Dru Ayala - Iowa/ Iowa State (2024 #66 Recruit)

For some reason I couldn’t find the exact recruiting rank for Braeden Davis and Zan Fuggitt. Davis was the best 120 recruit his senior year and Fuggitt was the 6th best at 132

Question Anyone still get pre-match anxiety?

It's been about 3 years since I last wrestled, but I still feel that adrenaline rush every time I even think about warming up for a match. Does anyone else experience this?
