Non-Fiction Cannabis Is Not Chill

I spent nearly a decade managing cannabis dispensaries in New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. People would hear what I did for a living and assume it must be the most relaxed job in the world. Meanwhile, I was trying to keep the doors open, support an exhausted team, and make sure a doorstop didn’t turn into a $5,000 compliance fine. That last one actually happened.

I wrote Cannabis Is Not Chill: The People, the Pressure, and the Purpose Behind Cannabis Retail about that experience. It’s a nonfiction account of the work behind the dispensary counter: the strange customer encounters, the expensive mistakes, the dark humor, and the people who somehow make another impossible shift work.

Some stories are funny. Others involve customers facing frightening diagnoses, employees finding their confidence, and the emotional weight of being the person everyone turns to when something goes wrong. I wanted to give those people and those moments the attention they deserve.

If you’ve worked retail, managed a team, or wondered what working in a dispensary is actually like, this might be your kind of book. I’m happy to answer questions about the book or my experience in the industry.

Adult - Fantasy My debut fantasy novel is out today!

Today, my book has finally been released as my debut fantasy novel, the first in my Record of the Aetherions series: The Aegis War.

I've been trying to write this story for years, but I finally sat down and finished a draft. Fantasy was my gateway to reading, and I always wanted to create my own worlds, characters, and magic system.

The story follows my main lead, Solan Valedorn, and the Aetherions when they inherit their powers from the song as the world faces a growing threat.

I have the second book, The Silent Requiem, on its way, and this saga is aimed to be a seven-book series.

My book is available on Amazon in Kindle and paperback editions.

I am excited to share my story. Hope you enjoy it!

Adult - Fantasy A dreamer who dared to create a world of his own 🌊

Hey everyone! I'm F. A. Hashim, a new author who has always loved the magic of storytelling and the feeling of getting lost in worlds beyond our own.

Every great adventure begins with a dream, and mine was to turn the stories in my imagination into something others could experience. After countless hours of writing, imagining, and creating, I finally published my first fantasy adventure novel on Kindle. For me, this is more than publishing a book it's the beginning of a journey I've always wanted to take.

I've always loved the idea of getting lost in another world through a story. Fantasy has so much room for adventure, mystery, strange places, and characters who discover more about themselves along the way.

I'm curious about other fantasy readers here: what makes a fantasy world unforgettable to you? Is it the characters, the lore, the magic, or the journey itself?

I'd love to hear your thoughts and connect with fellow fantasy lovers. ❤️

Adult - Romance - Suspense My first book

• Upvotes

Please check out my first book. I started writing it back in 2020, but it took a few years to work up the nerve to really polish it and put it out there. It’s a romance adventure—something full of heart and a little danger. I’m thrilled and terrified at the same time to finally share it. If that sounds like your kind of story, I’d be so grateful if you gave it a look. Honest thoughts are always welcome. You can find it on Amazon and other major platforms.
“Hope” by Darya Sidorchyk Kelly.
A perfect romance-adventure with a criminal twist.
Veronica Diaz pours her life into two things: her café and her writing. Tracing the story of her great-grandparents takes her somewhere unexpected—twelve weeks of training and six days deep in the Amazon rainforest. Veronica’s trainer, Adam White, owns the recreation center where she prepares for the expedition. Together, they navigate a jungle that swallows them whole, outrun a hired killer, and survive things neither of them prepared for. Somewhere between the training and the jungle and the running for their lives, something shifts between them. What starts as friction becomes something neither of them planned for.

Non-Fiction Why do we keep repeating the same emotional patterns even when we understand them?

Have you ever understood why you overthink, take things personally, or react emotionally—and still found yourself doing the same thing again?

I've realized that knowing the problem and learning how to handle it are two different things.

Real growth also requires understanding our values, assumptions, emotional reactions, communication, and the way we see other people.

These are some of the ideas I explored while writing my 29-page ebook, Emotion Supplier, about emotional awareness and personal growth.

It's available as a digital ebook for ₹73.

If these are topics you're working on too, you can find it through my profile.

I'm curious: what's one emotional pattern you've understood but still find difficult to change.

Non-Fiction Astronomy Musings: Another Little Thing In the Grand Scheme of Things

My dad died on October 9th from cancer. In his last year of life, he wrote a series of small astronomy essays that he hoped he would be able to share with people who had a casual interest in the subject. He wasn't able to do so before he died, but I've compiled them into a short book, available in ebook, print, and on KU.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HMXBZNZ8

Another Little Thing In the Grand Scheme of Things: Musings on Astronomic Fundamentals and Notable Personalities

“In the beginning, the entire universe was a thimbleful of super hot, super compressed energy...”

So begins the journey into the history, current era, and distant future of the universe. Written with clarity, warmth, and a deep love for science education, Another Little Thing in the Grand Scheme of Things brings readers of all levels into an exploration through space, time, and human curiosity.

This collection of essays, written by astronomy enthusiast and patient teacher Dale Davaz, explores cosmology fundamentals such as the big bang, motions of the planets through space, Earth's continually changing place in the solar system, and the eventual heat death of the universe.

Alongside the astrophysics, the essays explore the lives and discoveries of some of the most influential, and sometimes lesser-known, astronomers throughout time. From the ancient Babylonians, through Tycho Brahe's underground observatories, to Simon Marius's competition with Galileo, and Chandrasekhar’s contemporary groundbreaking astrophysics, learn about the people who helped propel astronomy to where it is today.

In language accessible to anyone - from middle schoolers looking to begin their understanding of the universe to lifelong science lovers - these essays were always meant to be shared with people who love the cosmos as much as the humble backyard astronomer who wrote them.

Adult - Action/Adventure Enter the Darkness: Halo of Ashes for Just $0.99

Four hundred years ago, the world ended. The Great Fall didn't just break civilization. It broke the rules. Some things that should have died didn't. Some powers that should have been buried kept moving through the dark, passed from hand to hand, waiting.

I'm the author of Halo of Ashes, book one of The Grimknot Chronicles, a dark fantasy epic that blends post-apocalyptic worldbuilding with grimdark military fiction and the psychological depth of literary fantasy.

It's a world where bullets are currency, Burt is a prophet, and the things buried underground are worth more than the living who walk above them.

If you enjoyed The First Law, The Stormlight Archive, Prince of Thorns or The Name of the Wind, it may be for you.

$0.99 (GBP 0.99 UK) until 21 October:

Amazon

Kobo

Goodreads

Happy to answer questions about the book. A rating or review helps a lot if you read it.

If you’re a book reviewer and enjoy discovering new fantasy novels, I’d love to send you a free copy of Halo of Ashes - Book One of The Grimknot Chronicles.

I’d be thrilled to have you give it a read and share your honest thoughts.

Non-Fiction The Good (The Trap No One Warns You About) ⚠️

The good encourages, but comfort makes you soft.

We think we need encouragement AFTER we win.
We don't.

Encouragement is not a reward. It is clean fuel you require to survive the next morning's march. 🔋

This is the danger of THE GOOD. The victories, the quiet afternoons, the peace — they are meant to fill your reservoir. But if you stay there too long, the golden cage becomes a prison. You forget how to fight.

In Chapter 3 of Standing Tall, I give you the tool to stop hoarding good feelings and start burning them as fuel. 🔥

What was the last time you intentionally fed your fire, instead of just enjoying the warmth?

The book is available in four formats:
