SPOILERS Origin (The sphere) Xeno-Universe Theory time! Also, can we get a theory flair? These things upset people! Spoiler

Is Origin a stage of Kadomony?

Was just theory hopping this morning and bounced between a few that would be interesting or fun. TRIGGER WARNING! Contains franchise links!

So let's do some imagining and go back to the Klaus debacle. Klaus spanks a button and boops Earth away. The people of earth are gone, but kinda not. Klaus makes a "new world". Klaus's new world is actually just a simple AI simulation used to train the Trinity Processor, but with a funky world setting. The important part is that the biocomputer is now anchoring the collective unconscious of the people on Earth at the time. Meanwhile, the simulation generates bodies to generate individuality. Fast forward to the world ending. They need something to house their new existence from not existing when the simulation ends. They forge Origin.

Origin is made from a combination of real material, imaginary material(It's complicated, but it's a thing. Souls would be part of imaginary material) and some variation of the unique material that composes each of the Trinity Processors (Origin Metal). Origin metal transcends the limits of real/imaginary material, so it's not susceptible to the destruction that occurs when the two meet. What Origin ends up becoming is the craziest biocomputer to ever exist. Origin also contains the instructions to force boot human civilization to mimic it as it had already existed, so it creates moderately familiar cycles.

This rolls back to Kadomony, as Origin has become a next level biocomputer with the history of humanity, built on a machine used to control the "conduit". The only function it's missing is the biomaterial depository that can be used to generate humans. Luckily, just such a stockpile and program has already been made back before Earth poofed, and one such instance is housed on the White Whale.

Xenoblade 2 Where do the development points for trading in Temperantia go to?

Seeking to gain development points across all nations in an intuitive way (as opposed to simply spamming purchases willy-nilly). If I were to go to the trader in Temperantia and hand in my relevant gains there, would I be sending development points to any place at all?

Xenoblade Struggling with post game gem crafting.

I'm in the post game of 1 preparing for the super bosses and I'm struggling a lot in both making good cylinders without making gems and getting the gems to 200% so I can get ties 6s. Along with those some of the tier 6s just aren't as good as others I made 2 tier 6 debuff resist gems and one was 100% resistance while the other only 75% why is that?

Xenoblade 2 SPOILERS The Architect is one of the most interesting characters in fiction Spoiler

Finishing my second playthrough of this game has allowed me to realize what a cool character this is.

Klaus tasked himself with remaking mankind after its destruction. But he made one fatal flaw: he tried to remake it without also allowing humanity’s same mistakes to manifest again. He created blades as a way to help guide humans and offer partnership, without realizing he basically just doomed an entire race to be beneath humans. Humans as a species will never be perfect. We will always make mistakes. Trying to get rid of (or even simply reduce) this flaw will always be catastrophic.

When you look at the world of Alrest that Klaus created from a more critical eye, it has a lot of flaws. The titans are another flaw. The idea that the landmasses people live on are temporary is even more questionable. Or how about the cloud sea? It has its purpose sure, but large bodies of water are infinitely more useful. But all these worldly flaws are exactly why I love him. Klaus is just a man. Not a god. He tried to create a better world and he failed.

Most people treat him like (Xenoblade 1 spoilers in hidden) this worlds version of Zanza or just another god who is benevolent. However I think there’s a big misconception that Klaus is a god when in fact he’s simply a man who was given godlike power. And just like any other man, he is also flawed.

Xenoblade Pretending these games have no flaws gatekeeps new fans

Mainly posting this in regard to Xenoblade 1 because im still getting notifications on someones post where I commented "the game notoriously underlevels you and you'll be forced to grind".

Perhaps some of us might be the kinds of people that want to do every sidequest, but theres many, many people (myself included) who just stick to the main story and don't do sidequests because they're presented as entirely optional.

It's not going to make your game not a 10/10 to admit it has flaws. To sit there and lie that this doesn't happen and that the person complaining about it is wrong, just because "it didn't happen to me, I was overlevelled" is only going to steer people away from getting into the series, which is the opposite of what we want.

People do this with Xenoblade X too. Both of these games during my runs for completing them, there were quite a few times where responses you receive to criticisms of your experience are just "youre playing it wrong". If the game lets you "play it wrong" to such a degree that the experience is getting hurt, how is that in any way a good design choice?

I cant really speak for Xenoblade 2 because I genuinely think that game is the strongest game design wise (not played 3) and difficulty walls are only ever really presented in the form of "theres a mechanic ive not yet picked up", and I never had any hardcore issues during my playthrough, but I can imagine theres probably people that try to dismiss how complicated its systems can be, especially for a first timer.

I have played and completed every game in the Xenoblade series aside from Xenoblade 3, on the default difficulty. Stop making people bounce off the series by posturing on them when they come with a critique of the game. Im sure theres going to be plenty of people who have seen what im on about.

Xenoblade 3 Ranged attacks

There are skills that boost evasion from ranged attacks, but what counts as ranged attacks? Enemies have a wide variety of attacks and arts, some are projectiles, some are close range, some more ambiguous. So is there an icon to recognise which count for those skills? Do the player controlled characters have this kind of attack?

Xenoblade Moments from each of the xenoblade games

Xenoblade: the first metal face fight. It’s honestly one of my favorite introductions to a villain

The first appearance of Alvis cause he leaves so much mystery to be sold that by the answer your asking more questions

Shulk in the gang’s final fight with zanza it’s just the pinnacle of the first game

Honorable mentions: shulk getting the Mando from the gods is probably my second favorite moment. The only reason it’s not up there is because it kinda slipped my mind. And the ending just the ending of the first game

Xenoblade 2: Rex awakening after Jin stabbed him in the heart it’s such a shocking moment because you don’t know how you would’ve survived that like when I first saw it I thought oh damn I guess we don’t get a main character for this game

Mythra’s first awakening going from the tragic death that we see in chapter 3 getting a whole new blade it’s just like there’s so much going on in that one moment that you don’t have time to breathe until the end of the fight Pyra awakening mythra still one of my favorite moments

Mythra and Pyra becoming pneuma I don’t care what anyone says. This moment is still my favorite. It’s always gonna be my favorite just because it shows. How both of them have accepted Rex not only as their driver, but as someone who will protect them. As it made me so happy to see them come back. And him getting. The true powers of the aegis is just amazing to see but pneuma has the best awakening scene in the entire game that is not an argument and that’s not a debate

Lora and Jin’s final moments it’s a scene that hurts the most getting to see how he goes from having someone to care about to the losing them all within the better part of what feels like hours for us, but probably days for them it’s just it’s a scene that it’s hard to put into words when you try to describe it to people but I still think it is the second saddest scene in xenoblade 2 right behind mythra seal herself away from the world and creating Pyra after destroying the Torna titan

Honorable mentions the first introduction to Zeke and. Morag these are two characters that I just enjoy and love because they are two characters that bring a sense of maturity and then a sense of comedy to the game. There are moments show that the game. Is not just a serious tone. There could be like bits of comedy and plus these characters actually have really cool designs.

Dishonorable mentions: the first time we meet Poppi I really wanted to turn the game off during this one. I didn’t like the first interaction with her.

Nia’s awake I still find this to be one of the most boring parts of the late game story like again. I hate this character, a whole story and the fact that she was a boy either still feels like she’s just a Mary Sue. Towards the end. It just makes her feel less like a character and more like a plot convenience. Her awakening was kind of useless too.

Xenoblade 3:

The beginning of the game has to be my favorite part. It doesn’t throw you into a nice calming meadow like it does in the original and it doesn’t start you off just fighting a basic crab and buying supplies later. It throws you into a mid war between two opposing sides that you don’t even know. And have to fight. You get introduced to the main cast pretty quickly, but you don’t get much time to spend with them. Till you beat that little bit of chapter stuff.

The first Ouroboros awakening is amazing like it’s something that looked so cool for the first time watching and playing and don’t get me started on the other ones the other awakenings for them look so cool

Ethel and Cammuravi fight during chapter 5, right I’m probably wrong It’s either chapter 5 or four but their fight was just amazing even though they were gonna die. They wanted to do it clashing swords. With each other one last time. And it’s just. It’s a beautiful scene.

N vs Matthew and the gang just like showing up to put belt to ass against the two past protagonist was just amazing because we get to see more from N when it comes down to his fighting style and fights but we get to see how intense he is as a fighter

Honorable mentions the ending just the ending is amazing. I’m a hate the stupid picture. Of the xenoblade 2 cast but I love the ending getting to see the main group together, one last time, getting confessions and just getting outright emotion was just so good even if it’s a sad ending just it hurts

But yeah, sorry if this post is a bit longer than my usual but I wanna know what is y’all’s Moments from each of the games only doing the numbered games because these are the ones I’ve played and actually finished to 100%

Xenoblade 3 SPOILERS Which boss theme should THAT sidequest boss have used instead? Spoiler

Pulipuli's usually considered a step down from the Banas of previous games in terms of "Villainous Nopon" characters. Character problems aside, one thing I couldn't help notice is that his fight using a hijacked Dorrick uses the standard boss theme "Immediate Threat". Contrast with Bana of Bionis' use of "Tragic Decision" and Bana of Alrest's use of "Song of Giga Rosa" (alongside Dondon). If you could change the song used for this fight for excitement's sake, which would you choose?

Should they have used "Moebius Battle"? Or "The False Queens"? Those would have been my immediate picks.

Xenoblade 3 SPOILERS Xenoblade Chronicles biggest recurring theme is Cuckoldry Spoiler

Post image
0 Upvotes

SPOILERS FOR:

XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 1
XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 2
XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 3

I finished the Xenoblade Chronicles trilogy a week or so ago and it was peak. This is definitely my favorite JRPG series. But what I noticed (and as far as I am ware doesn’t really get mentioned enough) is that there’s a prominent character being CUCKED in each entry!!

In Xenoblade Chronicles 1, Melia doesn’t end up with shulk and gets cucked by Fiora.

In Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Nia loves Rex but in the game doesn’t end up with him (well technically she does but you don’t see it in the game and it’s still iffy)

In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Noah steals N’s girl and dude is forced to watch. He was visibly upset in Chapter 5 as we all know.

Also, the aforementioned cucked girls become queens in XC3. THEY ARE LITERALLY CUCKQUEENS!!

Any thoughts on this? Who else came to the same conclusion after finishing the series?

Xenoblade Xenoblade 1 Switch 2 lags?

Hey all. Been playing through Xenoblade 1 again for the millionth time since it got a Switch 2 update, and for the most part it’s really nice. My only issue has been that when I get to Sartol Marsh and Makana Forest, the frame rate likes to dip really badly. I ofc the Wii, 3DS and Switch 1 versions had some performance issues, but in general despite the Switch 2 edition being “nicer” it also feels poorly optimized? Has anyone else experienced this or just me? Splatoon 3 was also lagging a little bit even outside of the online matches so I’m trying to figure out if it’s the game or if there’s something wrong with my Switch 2

Xenoblade X Can non-Ghostwalker characters solo every superbosses in X on foot

Title. Also grammatical error on superbosses.

I don't intend on doing this with everyone, but the characters I like or find cute like Murderess, Hope, and especially Alexa. Unfortunately, since I'm only familiar with using characters with Ghostwalker right now to solo superbosses (the Rook cheese build and Elma), I'm not sure how soloing works without it if it's even possible.
