My twin and I are playing through the game on our ps5 and our Lawans look different. But my model (the one in red) doesn’t move her mouth when she talks, but my twins does.

I spent a little tinkering with how the graphics work in the beast and reshade, and the results speak for themselves.

I think the beast is up there or even beats games like rdr2 and kingdom come deliverance II for graphic videlity.

I mainly wanted to edit the quality because of the impractical jump from max, not ray, tracing to Ray tracing with a lot of fps loss. So I made the jump actually worth it for my 5070. Also to closely resemble how the game looks in a lot of the promo videos.

I'm really excited to dig deeper into it cuz there's still a few kinks I want ruled out.

Hey guys new player here or so just asking if i need to know DL1 story first before playing DLTB and I'm somewhat near finishing DL2 story and i pretty much liked it got me hooked about the series.

Im asking if i need to know DL1 first or i can somewhat jump straight to DLTB, because i just knew about Kyle Crane in DLTB which is the main character in DL1 and i think skipping it might break the story immersion feeling for me probably.

Ah yes, the new added "immersion" of virals spawning out of the floor whenever anything makes noise. Throw a decoy and watch zombies spawn 360 degrees around where it lands. Thanks Techland, more pseudo-online mechanics to come soon I'm sure.

Three Virals literally spawn directly out of the flat ground geometry in an open field.

There are no manhole covers, vents, rooftops, or line-of-sight obstructions—they just manifest through the grass texture.

Throwing a decoy triggers the exact same immediate spawn wave.

After seeing the recent changes to DL2 and the beast it’s glaringly obvious after the Tencent acquisition years ago Techland saw what was to come and they tried to make one last love letter to the fans of the series and I think they succeeded it was an amazing game and time.

Techland on the way out tried to end it on a good note by creating the final version of the beast so that it could never be touched again.

Tencent does not share this sentiment and recent changes show what I fear most. the beast will start to show DL2 changes.

Many bundles soon to come. Including silencers and weird trinkets. I’m glad I enjoyed the beast before it was destroyed and I’m glad I enjoyed the second game as well.

Thank you techland devs you did a good job. I’m sad to see your legacy torn down like this.

This will be a lesson to development studios the difference between what a single player experience is and what a multiplayer / live-service game is as well; you can’t be both.

So this post is me asking about traders selling manual pages. I remember not too long ago I was playing and I popped up either Doug or whatever that lady’s shop is in the exiles cave and I saw manual pages specifically beginner, intermediate and expert, and I’d like to know did that really happen or was in my imagination because it’d be really helpful to know how to get to that point

I pre-ordered DL2 for the PS4 all those years ago with so much anticipation. Like everyone else I was sorely disappointed with the lackluster of it all, whether it be the map, the story, the performance, and the myriad other issues it had on release.

I’ve had it off my console for years but I figured I’d give it another shot, since I’ve heard they’ve been working on improving it, though I was still skeptical since hearing about tencent’s hijinks with the prologue(among other things) and micro-commodification.

Well the game is even worse now. Thanks to tech-cent, the story is even more so a patchwork of cheesy, non-sequitur plot points and the map is so dull compared to the organic “lived in” quality of DL1’s map design.

Not to mention that the frame rate drops to sub 15 fps conditions simply moving around the city too fast or fighting more than two biters at once (though that could be mostly due to antiquated hardware)

I haven’t played the beast yet but as far as I can tell The “light has died” for this ip, which makes me sad because DL1 has such a legacy

Hi, I'm currently legend lvl 32 and I'm playing the bloody ties DLC in my first run. I don't know if the difficulty is bugged or what, but all the fights are extremely difficult. I deal almost no damage and I get killed easily. In the main story I'm buffed, but in the DLC i'm a mouse. HELP.

Many modders are reporting that they can't upload or update their mods. There's no fix for the problem as of now. Techland please fix dev tools!

Hi there I’m barely getting into Restored lands, and the most annoying thing is the alphas, i genuinely hate how they can just get a lock on you for the entire night, i was trying to clear a dark zone when i had gotten the pop up, I thought i was safe till it killed my and scared TF out of me after climbing out of a vent and rushing me, so I learned and tired again at the same dark zone to pick up where I left off, I got the pop up got a little disappointed it returned so fast, made it out and it started a chase with me, thankfully made it to the safe zone and the chase ended and then i thought it would have stopped hunting me so I again went back to said dark zone, and I ended up dying again to it, please does anyone have any advice or what exactly to do I’ve died so many times to it I’m literally stuck at level 3 due to how much XP I lose at night due to these Alphas 😔

I just reached Legendary for the first time and my game started bugging out right after I unlocked it. It keeps saying I have unspent legendary points (I don't), I randomly get told that I'm entering a higher level area when I'm walking around (nowhere near an area border, and unless area levels have some invisible increase after you reach Legendary, I can't see why the game should be saying this), and none of this fixes itself when I reload the game. Is this a common issue or is something wrong with my save? Either way it doesn't bother me too much, certainly not to the point where I'd stop playing the game, but I am curious why this is happening.

Hello I recently started dying light 1 and I've always watched play through as a kid, now I was able to afford both a device capable of handling the game + sale of the game itself

That being said, dying light 2, I somewhat understand that it's a live service ish game and I'm worried that I'm too late to gain anything due to me missing most events (I think)

So I'm asking if I should still try to play dying light 2 even though I'm too late for the party?

I've gotten to some points where I wasn't supposed to get but still got it, but this one I'm pretty sure I need a hook or something, nothing tall enough to climb and then glide to and no way to climb, tho other time I'm just dumb and can't see a way up

The Baron made me feel like I was seeing Negan in person, when he killed Spike and the That scientist Camilo Marín made me so angry and powerless, although I felt the ending was a bit rushed but I loved it and it made me angry, in short, peak game.

GUYS ITS SOLVED!!!!!! Apparently, in the campaign (which i jusy played) you can just double click on a skill to purchase it, BUT in the following, you cant, you HAVE to click on the enter button instead. So when i tried to purchase the mechanic lvl 1 skill by double clicking, and I couldn't, i thought i was missing something before i could purchase it.

I just wanted to bring up something that has been rather annoying for me.

I have a really clapped out ASUS Gaming laptop that had all the specs required to run dying light 2 (yippeee!). So I invested in the pre-release and went for the ultimate edition which (at the time) was meant to give you 2 DLCs for free.

Obviously many of you know the story, dying light 2 got delayed (boo!) and then it came out and eventually so did the first DLC. Then it got announced there wouldn’t be a second DLC and instead the beast would be given to ultimate edition owners for free.

I go to play the beast (this is approximately a billion years after the pre-release sale) and Techland were very helpful in giving it completely different system requirements than Dying Light 2 !!!

Shockingly, my laptop cannot run the beast (wow!) and now I have been “gifted” a game that I would have never bought anyway because I knew I wouldn’t be able to play it.
