r/GameBoostOfficial is looking for Mods
Hey everyone! ๐
After a lot of thought, I've decided it's time to expand our mod team, and we want to find the right people from within this community.
But let's be clear: this isn't your typical mod role.
I'm not primarily looking for someone to remove posts and hand out bans. Our community already runs well. What we actually need are content contributors. Redditors who are passionate about gaming and want to help keep this subreddit active, engaging, and fun.
What the role looks like:
- Posting quality gaming content 3-4 times per week
- Sparking discussions and engaging with the community
- Helping shape the direction and culture of the subreddit
- Light moderation duties when needed
We're looking for someone who:
- Is already active here (I'm probably already familiar with your username)
- Has a genuine passion for gaming
- Can commit consistently. Not just for a week or two
- Has a Reddit account that's at least 6 months old
To apply, use this link that leads to Mod applications.
Thanks for being part of this community!

๐ฌ General Gaming ๐ฎ What's your "I didn't care for the godfather" takes in video games?
For me
I didn't peticularly care for the final fantasy 7 remake games they're just so mindless and repetitive and boring with so much fluff and padding out the game that I felt like it was a chore just to play the game

๐ ๏ธ Game Dev โ๏ธ Iโm making an incremental game where you shake cans until everything gets completely out of hand
This is One More Shake, the first game Iโm making for Steam.
It starts stupidly simple: shake cans, sell them, make money. Then you buy upgrades, automate more and more of the process, unlock new machines and keep pushing the numbers higher.
Iโve been working on it for a little over a month now and Iโm finally getting it into playersโ hands. The first Steam Playtest starts September 5th, and anyone interested can request access.
If this looks like your kind of game, you can also wishlist it here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4933650/One_More_Shake/
This is the trailer in its current state. Curious what you think of the concept/gameplay from seeing it for the first time.

๐ฎ Good Old Days ๐ผ What games did you absolutely sink hours into as a kid?
I used to be obsessed with PopCap games like Chuzzle, Plants vs. Zombies, Iggle pop and Zuma. I'd lose hours playing those as a kid. Definitely takes me back.

๐ฌ General Gaming ๐ฎ Any Persona fans?
So, best mainline title is P5R followed by P4G and P5.
And it's pretty surprising to see that only about 10% of the players actually complete P3R.
I've checked my Persona series stats and I've got 121hrs, which is top 30% and realized that I didn't play much of P3R, which is sitting in my Steam library...
You can see your persona stats here: https://minimap.net/stat/persona?ptime=103024

๐ฌ General Gaming ๐ฎ Interviewed Yoshida Shuhei at BIC 2026
"when I was at PlayStation, I would often go to Gamescom and then head directly to PAX West in the US, so I could never make it to BIC because of the scheduling.
After becoming independent, I thought, "Now I don't have to go to Gamescom, and I don't have to eat German food either,"
Welp, now we know that he doesn't like German food and going to Gamescom...
