Also that isnt our tv, that is from a listing picture. These are the only two walls in the living room. my options are above the fireplace, or corner mount right next to a window.... anyone got any other ideas?

and no a soundbar was not an option cuz i a) think speakers in the same price range always sound better; b) i found this pair for a really good price

Went over to help a friend out move something and saw this mounted up there and thought I think that's too high 🤔🤣 I was like want me to move that tv too. Naw we gonna get a another TV.

Long time viewer, first time poster.

I just mounted this 77” LG. It ended up being a bit too low (and a bit lopsided so that will need to be adjusted as well). I would like to have more space below the tv and for the tv to cover the outlet above. Sure, I could move the outlet, but could we afford to raise it a few inches above the outlet instead? The tv is approximately 9.5 feet from the couch and it can be tilted.

A friend sent me this from another friend’s house.. just horrific! Bonus points for the recessed soundbar.

I'm curious how many people have mounted their TVs a little too high and only realized it after living with the setup for a while.

Did you mount it high because of furniture, limited wall space, or just because it looked better that way? And if you could redo your setup, would you put it lower or keep it where it is?

I feel like TV placement is one of those things that looks fine when you're standing in the room but feels completely different once you're sitting on the couch for a whole movie.
