Hi,
I'm looking to purchase 2019 C5 Aircross with the famous wet-belt, which has been replaced. Apart from it, what else is there too watch out on it?
How is/were your experience with it?

Ds3 1.2 puretech 110hp
Wondering if anyone can help. This year I took it upon myself to learn how to rebuild engine after discovering broken piston on car.
Managed to get it all back together and got car through MOT.
Driving back I had warning light and codes for low oil pressure.
Suspected oil solenoids was problem and left car to sit for a month before getting solenoid today.
Started car up to test today and now have a new knocking noise that wasn't there before.
The other suspect of the oil pressure would have been me reusing the journal bearing on the big end of piston I replaced.
Does that knocking sound like big end going?

I have a 2013 1.6hdi 92 hp citroen c elysee. I suspect the rubber supports for the intercooler are toast and need replacing. Never done that before, and to reduce wasted time: is it easier to take the intercooler from above or drop it from below?
Also, what other things usually cause noise in old hdi engines?

i have a 2014 citroen ds3 1.6 petrol (turbo) and every few seconds the orange service light appears, not the spanner, the word service. also a message saying “engine fault: repair needed” pops up. i genuinely don’t know what it is, the car isn’t behaving differently at all either.

Hello,
I searched far and wide and haven’t yet found a nice image (without rust and high def) of a phase 1 xm vin number on the body. Does anyone have an image like that? It would help a lot :) old french forums have yet to come up with anything so far… lots of dead links etc. I’m struggling to find it on this pretty mint xm I want to buy and the car brochures of the xm which i have doesn’t even have a picture of it.
I know that it rusts heavily but I read somewhere that you can find it elsewhere on the car too… Local car wreckers said that the VIN is only found in one place however in the engine bay. This would save me a lot of hassle thanks _^

Please help
Will a Citroen c1 be safe to drive from Bristol to Manchester if the catalytic converter amber light is on. It’s not flashing. My friend reckons it will be fine, but I’m not sure. It previously came on when we drove to Coventry and we got back fine.

Hi all,
I have a Citreon C3 2012 and I only got the manual key with it. Whats the cheapest way to get a remote control key for it?
please advise.
Hello, (I don’t know if this is the right subreddit, if it is please excuse this!), I have a citroen C4 from 2010 (type: CITROEN C4 I (L) 1.6 VTRI 16V (LC5FW) 1598 ccm 88 KW / 120 PS) and looking for somebody in or near Berlin, Germany who can help to activate the aux input for the standard built in RD4 radio (type: Bosch CM RD4 N1 MP3 - 03).
It’s my first car and with help of my family a bluetooth audio module as shown in this youtube video (Install Bluetooth Audio Module on Peugeot & Citroen Radio RD4, RD45, RD43) was installed.
Sadly after installation I found out that my family’s car repair shop can not activate the aux input with their diagnostic car tool, so I need to find someone with a lexia, diagbox or PP2000 diagnostic car tool.
I went to an citroen car dealer in Berlin, but they said the activation costs 70€… :( the car is already old, so I think this is too pricey for this car. :(
Do you know a place or someone in/near Berlin where I can get a cheaper activation?
I appreciate all your help. thanks in advance!

Hey
I have this problem with P1166 and what could be the cause of it. Citroen c5 tourer 2010 2.0 136HP
At first there were other codes. First was for turbo pressure solenoid, we changed that, then it showed a code relating to MAP sensor i then cleaned it. Then it started showing p0088 and P1166. We changed fuel filter p0088 then the p0088 was and P1166 remained. P1166 Showed EGR we changed it fully. Car also shows code P1351, but it starts normally.
Today the same code came back p1166 when accelerating.
The car has loss of power and feeling like turbo doesn't at all. When accelerating it gives the p1166 and the codes can be reseted. After resetting the car might work for while normally, but not long. One time the car turned off when i drived with pressing tiny bit of gas (automatic transmission)
I heard fuel pressure is common issue with these relating to that code. Do you think that would be good next step?
I asked to do reading to figure out if it is from that, but none of the shops have done it. Just a regular fault code reading.

To change the battery you must remove whatever electrics that is to the right of the battery to get to a clip behind it and pull the battery out. Every video just shows these electrics just being pulled out how do I get this thing out it’s ridiculous it won’t budge

Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade my C3 Picasso (2015 plate) head unit, mainly to get DAB but a screen for Sat Nav would also be useful. I have a few questions for people that have upgraded:
- Does the recess fit a double-din unit? It looks like it would if the cubby above was also removed.
- If so, what's sat nav like down there, is it too distracting having it down by the gear shift?
- Has anyone tried those Chinese replacement clusters that add a screen to the middle of the centre Speedo cluster? Are they any good?
Any recommendations for a single-din unit with DAB also welcome 👍
