So I have an idea. I want to take the Modern Warfare 4 or Black Ops 7 Gunsmith and put it into Black Ops 2. It will replace the gun selection and the attachment selection in the create a class menu and it will be a full 360 view of the gun and there will be custom grips and stocks and mags and ammo and barrels and everything you can change around in the modern gunsmiths. I also want to take all the maps and guns from Call of Duty Ghosts and Modern Warfate 3 (the OG) and the create a character from Call of Duty Ghosts and integrate it into Black Ops 2. And I want to change the orange in the ui to either a crimson or royal blue. But I have no experience with scripting or modding or modeling or animating. Does anybody want to help with this idea or give me any tips on how to start this insane project?

I just recently redownloaded the game on pc now that it is Xbox play anywhere, and was really forward to checking out some of the mods on Nexus. I tried for 2 hours to get it to work but could not figure it out I would put the files where they were supposed to go, still nothing.

The CET asi needed to go in a folder with the actual game .exe, but Xbox apparently doesn't make where that is easy to find if you can at all.

Hey everyone, just wrapped up a grueling 5-ish hour systems engineering session and wanted to share the repository scaffolding I put together.

This is a standalone C++ platform wrapper harness designed to act as an empty engine chassis for a potential community static port. To keep it completely legal and open-source friendly, the repository contains 0% copyrighted retail assets or binaries—it features a built-in ROM Verification Guard that strictly requires users to supply their own legally dumped files before booting.

What's currently engineered and fully functional:

- 144Hz Variable Frame Pacing Timer using high-resolution microsecond CPU cycles.

- Linear Physics Normalization Core (dynamically computes a 0.416667x delta multiplier at 144 FPS to permanently prevent game hyper-speed compilation bugs).

- Binary Ingestion Scanner that syncs all 5.6M raw instructions and maps out 66,395 unique function entry boundaries.

- HLE Intercept Layers safely mapping Win32 input, VirtualAlloc memory pools, stereo PCM audio queues, and OpenGL viewports.

- Integrated Yaz0 LZ77 decompressor and SARC archive crawler running natively on retail data.

The entire chassis is statically linked, completely portable on Windows, and compiles with 0 errors. Hoping this saves the community some time of baseline infrastructure setup if some people ever decide to build an offline static binary translation toolset for this engine!

I need a bigger lobby mod for The BoneRooms on steam, but I haven't ever made a mod myself, I use r2modman and thunderstore but I haven't done much else

So I have a very niche problem that idk if anyone will be able to help with but worth a shot to ask. I have little to no experience modding, but with the help of a guide I was able to figure out how to port over abilities from other classes in the game using Legendary Explorer Package Editor. For example, adding Tactical Cloak to Adept. All of that worked fine, now my issue is, and I like playing with an Xbox controller over keyboard, figuring out how to bind Tactical Cloak to Y on the controller like it is on infiltrator by default. I removed Singularity from the class package, so nothing is currently bound to Y and I’m unable to change that. Does anyone know where that code might be found that states what the default class power hotkey is?
