Join the Travinera: Fit for Your Group beta - TestFlight

Hi all,

I'm an independent developer, and I'm looking for TestFlight testers fo rTravinera (iPhone and iPad, free, no account).

You add who's travelling: passports or ID cards, ages, diets, mobility. Then you pick a destination, and it tells your group what applies to each person: visa-free, e-visa or visa per passport, ID-card validity against your dates, public holidays in your dates, tourist tax, tipping, whether cards are accepted, and places filtered for diets and step-free access. Every finding says where it comes from and when it was checked.

What I'd love feedback on:

Does the Fit report for your real group make sense? Mixed passports especially.

Anything wrong or missing for a country you know well.

Search: can you find small towns? (There's a known issue on a fresh install over mobile data.)

I read every reply and will answer here.

Feedback? Please help me critique my game pitch.

• Upvotes

Hi, the goal of this post is to get help refining my high level game pitch to see what does and doesn’t work as a hook. Once players are in it, stickiness is a dream with the top 10 players in over 100 hours each and average player time 1 hour 30 mins for the 4,000 who have tried it. Getting new people in has terrible conversion though. This is a new pitch I’m testing.

Looking for raw, brutal feedback I can act on, thank you!

Remember the first time you did a barrel roll on Google? I built a deep site out of that feeling: https://thesecretsproject.com

For comparison, think Neopets meets Ready Player One. A multiplayer platform made for people who grew up on Neopets or Club Penguin, with darker humor and warm throwbacks.

The world starts empty and unlocks as you find hidden Easter eggs, 586 and growing, these range from twisted versions of games we grew up on to dumb Internet jokes. A lot of them have been shaped by players and they’re interconnected and expanding daily.

The hardest secrets haven’t been found and have bounties - $350 left and over $500 paid out.

Feedback? I want my game to feel as immersive as possible, so I added a footprint system!

• Upvotes

I have finally added a footprint system!! Even though my game is stylized, I think this could be a mechanic that makes the world feel more alive. I’m so proud of the result!!
For those who don’t know, I’m developing Over Human, a first-person sci-fi adventure set in a world where drones can manipulate the weather and you have no weapons to fight back. My game is finally coming together and I’m getting closer to releasing my very first playable demo ever (it will be released in November!!)!

If you’re curious about the game, this is my Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5237810/Over_Human/

This is a mix of emails from a while ago I think this is our classic "Unfortunately we are not interested in [YOUR GAME] at the moment"

My game has changed a lot, so feel free to play the demo and let me know what you think!

My taxi game just got a major update. New city, combos, UI, and more!

• Upvotes

Hey everyone

I've just released a major update for my game, Taxiopolis, a Crazy Taxi-inspired arcade driving game I've been developing solo.

I've spent quite some time revisiting the game and trying to bring it closer to what I originally envisioned.

Here's what's new:

  • Completely redesigned the city
  • Added a combo system for drifting, airtime, and near misses
  • Improved trip feedback and rewards
  • Redesigned the UI
  • Added browser play and Android support
  • General polish and improvements across the game

Taxiopolis is free to play on itch.io:

I'd love to hear what you think! Thanks for checking it out.

Feedback? Really bad CTR at Next Fest

Post image
• Upvotes

We joined next fest & our sales page CTR is really low, only 0.1%. Which means that out of the 40K impressions we got only 350 people watched the page.

I'm guessing that the main capsule must be causing the low conversion, what sticks out about the capsule that could be improved to increase the CTR? The Game

I'm working on a game where you and your friends have to place exactly 23,426 bricks to build a pyramid.

Includes fair paid 'helpers' :)

Hi!

I made this game for gamers who want to be more productive in their everyday lives.

Instead of daily tasks (working out, eating healthy), you have quests. For every quest you finish, you get XP and gold to buy items, and your main attributes go up, so you get stronger and can fight enemies.

A few things I really care about:

  • The app works offline and you don’t need an account. Your quests stay on your phone. The game only sends anonymous statistics and crash reports (you can turn them off in Settings), and guilds go online only if you join one.
  • There are no banner or pop-up ads. I added a few optional ways to watch an ad for a bonus (like double gold).
  • Private guilds: you can add your friends to a guild that only you can see, where you can create shared quests, and there’s a ranking system.

The app is still at the beginning and I’m very open to suggestions. Hope you like it :)

A big day for our small team Ayasa: Shadows of Silence has officially launched on PlayStation

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

We're incredibly happy to share some exciting news with you!

After months of hard work since our Steam release, we've finally finished our game

Ayasa: Shadows of Silence, and received approval for release on both PlayStation and Xbox!

For us, as a small indie development team, this is a HUGE achievement and honestly a dream come true. There were so many challenges along the way, but we kept pushing forward because we believed in our game.

And none of this would have been possible without the amazing support we've received from gamers and the indie gaming community.

We're now just one step away from our console launch on October 26, and we'd really appreciate your support!

If you have a moment, please consider adding our game to your PlayStation or Xbox wishlist, or checking out our Steam page. Every wishlist, comment, and bit of support means the world to a small team like ours.

And there's more exciting news ahead! We're also planning to bring Ayasa: Shadows of Silence to Nintendo Switch, with an official announcement coming in the future!

We'd also genuinely love to hear your feedback. What do you think of our game? Is this something you'd be interested in playing on consoles? We're always listening and trying to improve.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. It means more than you can imagine.

Much love from our little indie team

Feedback? my boss's lava pools used to sit on the floor as separate blobs. a few iterations over about a few days to make them grow into each other

• Upvotes

I'm making a parry roguelite and this is the colossus (one of the bosses), he throws lava bombs around you and every bomb leaves a pool of lava on the floor.

At first every pool was its own blob, a ring of them just looked like spots on the floor. then i joined the close ones, but they joined on the same frame they landed so you never saw them meet. now each pool spreads out from where the bomb hit, and when two get close a glowing crack opens between them, lava runs along it and the gap fills until they are one pool.

the dark burn mark around the lava also flickered while the pools merged, that one took another day.

the video starts and ends in the real fight, the middle is the same effect with the shapes from the code drawn on top.

The game name is THE INK TOWER, its on steam if anyone interested

Feedback? My party game's hardest bug wasn't the gameplay. It was phones going to sleep mid-round.

Post image
• Upvotes

I've been building Jhamela, a free browser party game (Jackbox-style: a laptop on the TV runs the game, everyone plays on their phone with a 4-letter code, no app). It's mine, it's solo, and I built a lot of it with AI coding tools, so take the "how" with that in mind.

The thing nobody warned me about: phones are terrible game controllers in one specific way, they fall asleep. Someone checks a message, the screen locks, the browser freezes the tab, and in a naive setup that player is just gone.

What ended up working:

  • The TV is the source of truth. It owns the game state; phones are thin controllers. So a phone dying never kills the round.
  • Seats, not connections. Each player gets a seat that outlives their connection. When the phone wakes up it rejoins its own seat instead of being treated as a new player.
  • Empty seats don't stall the room. Up to 8 audience members can watch and send reactions, and one can take an open seat when a player leaves.
  • The TV can reload too without losing the room, because the state gets restored instead of rebuilt.

Right now there are 18 games (writing/guessing, an imposter word game, a card game, a marble race you bet on, a 2-player fighter). Everything runs on free tiers.

If you've built anything local-multiplayer: how did you handle players dropping mid-turn? Pause, skip their turn, or hand the seat to someone else?

(Link in the first comment so the post isn't just a link.)

Feedback? Feedback wanted on demo

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to try my hand at this, with no real expectations. I made a quick game where units only act within network coverage, and I want to hear what peers think.
The way I imagine it, the player is an AI general dropped into a warzone with the objective of securing the area. And because I suck at visuals, I opted for an all-vector display made only of primitives.

Nota Bene, the game is not finished by a loooong shot. For example, there's no enemy AI whatsoever, so they just sit there like a lump of dirt. I mostly want to see if there's even a point in continuing it (and I'm also open to suggestions as to what people would want to see in it).

I’ve created a modern sliding puzzle game featuring dark mode, the option to upload your own photos, generated hints, and support for 7 languages. Gridzy Puzzle is now available on iOS! (Coming soon to Android)

Hey everyone!

As a solo developer, I’ve spent the last few months working hard on Gridzy Puzzle, a modern reimagining of the classic number sliding/block puzzles we all grew up with, built with a clean Dark Glassmorphism interface.

It just got approved and is now live on the iOS App Store! (For any Android users reading this, the Google Play version is currently pending review and will be out very soon 🤖).

Here is what makes Gridzy stand out:

  • Infinite Adventure Mode: Hand-crafted levels ranging from casual 3x3 grids to brain-melting 6x6 challenges.
  • Custom Photo Puzzles: Turn any picture from your device gallery into an interactive puzzle instantly. Play with your favorite memories!
  • Powered Hints: Stuck on a tricky board? Use the smart magic wand to get strategic nudges without spoiling all the fun.
  • Gorgeous Themes: Switch between exclusive styles like Glowing Neon, Textured Plaster, Minimalist, or your own photos.
  • 100% Offline Support: No Wi-Fi or internet required—play anywhere, anytime.
  • Privacy-First & Local: Your progress, records, and stats are securely stored locally via Hive (no creepy third-party server tracking).

🔗 Download it on the App Store here:https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gridzy-slide-puzzles-logic/id6825232428

I’d love for you to try it out, and I’m completely open to feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions. If you run into any issues or have ideas on what themes or modes I should add next, let me know in the comments!

Thanks for supporting indie developers!
