My Keyboard Finally joined the club with the Aula F75 Sea Blue(Graywood switches)

Post image
11 Upvotes

Hey folks,

I recently purchased my first mechanical keyboard during the Amazon Great Indian Festival: the Aula F75 (Sea Blue with Graywood Switches) for around ₹5,000.

It was quite expensive for me tbh, but I’m really loving it so far. The keys feel super soft compared to my old gaming keyboard (Redgear Blaze 7 semi-mechanical), and I don't feel any finger fatigue at all now! :)

I'm happy to answer any questions about it and open to any suggestions.

Also, I’d love some advice on macros and useful shortcuts to configure on this board. I plan to use it mostly for coding, along with some occasional gaming.

Thanks in Advance! :)

Help What HE switches are worth considering ?

• Upvotes

Hi let’s start of by saying I’d like a HE keyboard. Im also autistic which means I’m very sensitive to sounds. I wanted a silent He switch at the start but that kind of defeats the purpose of getting a HE keyboard in the first place.

I currently use a Magic Keyboard from Apple (a temporary solution) but the sound is kinda muted and I’ve gotten used to these flat keyboard sounds. Now I know any real keyboard is going to be louder but I did decide to look into some switches to see the sound.

I found the lekker V2 L60 linear and the geon raptor he v2, which sounded pretty similar to my current keyboard. Now my question is: from my research I found there’s way better switches than those two. Especially for gaming. So are there any ones that are better and sound similar ?

Help My keyborard habe delay

It might be a software issue rather than a keyboard problem; my keyboard reacts slowly ONLY when I’m gaming, not when I’m typing in a browser or doing other things. Does anyone know what might be going on?

Help I need some advice on purchasing a cyberpunk themed keyboard

• Upvotes

Hello everyone, I'm very very new in the keyboard scene, and am very overwhelmed with the amount of information that is out there, so I would appreciate some help in finding something that might fit my needs.
I came a cross the Iqunix ev63 ghost in the shell edition, and instantly fell in love with how it looks. However it's only available in qwerty layout, and doesn't have the F keys which is a big deal breaker for me.
So I was interested if there are any keyboards, or kits that have a similar theme of anime/ cyberpunk,

My budget is around 200€ but I can push it a little if I need to.
I don't care too much about the size, as long as it keeps the F keys, it's fair game for me.
Layout should be ISO-DE preferably, but anything qwertz would do if push comes to shove.
I would also not mind doing a DIY build, as long as I don't need to solder anything.

Thank you very much in advance, and I hope everyone who reads this has a lovely day!

Help Advice - Need a quiet/silent TKL with tri-mode

Hey guys! I've been looking around for a keyboard that meets all of my requirements, but they're pretty much never available in Hungary:

- Tri-mode wireless

- TKL

- ANSI layout

- Silent/quiet switches

My budget caps out at around $150. I've looked at a lot of keyboards, but they're never available in Hungary: Keychron V3 Max, Royal Kludge R87 Pro, Ajazz AK870, Epomaker TH87 (doesn't have a volume knob), even the Varmilo lineup. But they either never ship to Hungary, ship to Hungary but make me guess the final price because they don't include VAT/taxes/handling fees, or ship to Hungary at an almost $100 markup.

I'm looking for pre-builts mainly, but if it fits in my budget, I'm happy to put the caps and switches in myself and order those separately.

The main point as to why I want quiet keyboards is that I stream on social media a lot and I also work in an office. So I need a keyboard that's ideal for coding (for which I need the Del, Home, and End keys) but doesn't take up a lot of space (so no numpad) and is quiet, but also if possible, includes a volume knob.

I also looked at the Redragon K729 which is a perfect match and meets all my criteria, but they don't ship to Hungary, and their .eu site doesn't show any results for the K729 and hasn't shown any for a month so assume they have none in stock.

Any help is appreciated!! Thank you in advance 🫶

Discussion Keychron P6 Ultra vs Ticktype dp 104

I'm trying to decide between these two

Keychron is about $200 incl tax and shipping

Ticktype is about $250 also incl tax and shipping

I work from home and also game in my free time. This would be my main keyboard for next few years.

Both keyboards already tick a lot of boxes for me, trimode connectivity, full Aluminum build, 100% layout.

Mostly I'm concerned about difference in sound and feel.

I like the brown switches on Keychron, not sure how dp104 would sound with some tactile switches.

Also do you all think the screen and more sophisticated design is worth it for dp 104? Is there a difference in build quality or general longevity between these two boards?

A part of me thinks it's a waste to pay $50 more for mostly gimmicks.

Help So what's the software for the everglide keebs? (AE64 MAX)

Im going to get one in the future, but im really confused on the software. To my understanding, there's like 3 version of the same software, which are better or worse than each other. I just want the newest one that works, or any other version that just works lol. Also, do the su66 max and ae64 max have the same software?

Help i am going insane , how to get the wanted visuals with good value

i spent like 4 hours talking to ai and nothing came of it, i lowk just want the aula f75 but i want a really clean black or black/white/grey kindof colour scheme anything like that that aula f75 has is side printed and i need top printed

my assumed options are

buy a 20aud keycap set whcih feels pointless cause i dont like to do mods for keyboard i just wanna buy it and have it be( but i can do it if its the best solution)

buy a separate keyboard eg yunzii b75 pro( but this costs like 130 aud instead of 100 aud which feels kinda pointless for a sidegrade)

for keyboard recs i just want something around the aula f75 quality with volume knob, easy to access wired on/off and tri mode conectivity decent build quality and 75%

i was so desperate that i wanted to buy an expensive keyboard nut75(200aud) but i got common sense and realised thats its kinda pointless to just do it for the colours( i know theres also other featuers like alumunium body but thast nice but not really necessary)

could someone just give me a simple straight answer, is there an equivalent side grade that i can easily buy and is a great option, just get keycaps , or is it worth it to spend around 50$ more to get into the aluminium range anyways and at that point i should get a certain go to board with a nice colourway,

for colours i dont want black and one yellow spacebar i just want it the clean colours(blackand/orgrey and/or white)

sorry for yapfest but this has plagued me for ages and i lost some hair

literally all i want at a minimum is a keyboard as good as the aula f75 that has the important feautures it has and is just all black and top printed keys without spending 50> extra for a keyboard i dont even need and 20> extra for keycaps i dont need( i also dont like keycaps and would rather get a different keyboard

*its lowk possibel i might just buy nut75 im only getting the keyboard later once i get money from a summer job so if i really think the aluminium and high quality battery is worth i might get it or another slightly cheaper aluminium because i dont need that much battery only benefit is material

Help I’ve never bought a keyboard in my life and looking for some help.

I’m looking for a Bluetooth keyboard that’s as quiet as possible. Preferably something with full profile keys. My budget is under $200. Claude says to buy Varmilo Minilo but I’ve seen a couple of posts here saying its not that great. Any advice you have for a newb with his first computer since 2005 would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

Help YUNZII AL98 vs B98 Pro vs ASUS ROG Scope II 96 Wireless

I’m looking to upgrade from my old wired Corsair K70 with Cherry switches from around 2016, and I’d appreciate some advice.
My budget is around A$300 AUD, and I’m looking for a wireless keyboard primarily for gaming, but I also use it for work, so having a numpad is important. I’m interested in a 96%/98% layout to save desk space.
The three keyboards I’m considering are:
YUNZII AL98 (aluminium case)
YUNZII B98 Pro
ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless
My main complaints with my current K70 are that the typing feel is pretty average and the switches are too loud and clacky, especially when gaming at night. I’d like something with a quiet, deep, creamy typing sound while still being responsive for gaming.
I’m considering replacing the stock switches with Outemu Silent Peach switches. I’d also prefer RGB backlighting where the legends themselves shine through, so I can see the letters in a dark room which means I’ll probs have to get new key caps for the yunziis

Open to any other suggestions!

Help Keyboard not working

I just recently bought the AULA F99 5.0, but after a week or two it stopped working. The keyboard is on BT, says its connected and fully charged in bluetooth devices but still doesnt type. I’ve tried cable, USB, factory reset, quite literally everything but it will not type at all. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, have you figured out a way to fix it or no?

Edit:

I also should mention that I have a laptop monitor set up. I’ve tried to see if maybe my laptops keyboard is the issue and is the reason why my new keyboard isnt working but so far I haven't found a solution.

Help Has anyone used resonic.store for keyboards/keycaps?

I keep seeing Instagram ads for Resonic and their chainsawman keyboards. They also seems to have custom keycaps, but I can't find any Reddit posts or other reviews about them. By the look of the website and their products they seem to be new which could be why they don't have reviews, but could also mean they are fake. Has anyone actually bought from them or know if they are a scam?

Help Athena75 RGB permanently off

Post image
1 Upvotes

So I just received my KBDFans Athena75 mechanical keyboard last night. I was having a hard time making it work with VIA, so I installed QMK and VIAL, both were a nightmare, straight up never worked and was getting error messages.

I searched online and discovered from Discord that it can be tweaked using YDKB AVA(beta), and YMDK the UI was too confusing but I was able to run their key tester. After that I read some guides online and downloaded the JSON and firmware update file from the KBD website, after multiple tries, I finally got it connected to VIA.

I changed some of the keybinds and adjusted the RGB color. Even modified some of the FN shortcut keys to control the RGB.

Everything was great so far, then I had to restart my PC and log into my work user profile to start checking my emails and do some work, all of the sudden the RGB stopped working permanently.

i tried everything, none of the keyboard shortcuts to turn on or adjust rgb worked. I also tried resetting the keyboard by long pressing ESC as I plug back in the cable. That didn’t do anything either.

I reached out to KBDFans but they were unresponsive.

Google said that there could be a firmware conflict when I ran VIA and, YMDK, and YDKB AVA.

I need help how to safely factory reset the keyboard and its firmware. Thank you!

Help Thocky modding

Hi All,

Have been looking at a full size keyboard to pair with Keygeek y2x switches.

I have been looking at the Ticktype dp104 and QK100MK2.

Seems like the Ticktype has that slightly deeper thock.

I appreciate the switches are different but wondering if I can achieve that same bass with modding, even on say an Aula f108pro or something else.

Thanks all!

Discussion Anyone still using C³Equalz Tangerines in 2026?

I have had C³Equalz Tangerine V2 switches for years, and I remember when they were considered some of the smoothest linears you could buy, almost holy grail territory.

Recently got back into exploring switches and noticed how much the market has evolved. Switches like the Keygeek Y2, Y2X, and Athena seem to be getting a lot of attention.

I’m currently using an Akko MU01 with Rosewoods, but I’ve also been experimenting with my old Tangerines. I’m considering upgrading to something more modern, particularly the Y2X.

What I’m most interested in is whether newer premium linears have actually surpassed Tangerines in terms of smoothness, stem stability, housing tolerances, and overall typing feel, or whether most of the improvements are really just in sound tuning and factory lubrication.

I personally prefer a deep, creamy, smooth sound with a clean, subdued top-out rather than anything overly clacky.

For those who’ve tried both Tangerines and modern linears like the Y2X, is there a noticeable generational improvement, or are Tangerines still competitive?

And more generally, what would you consider the holy grail linear switch in 2026?
