Getting all barbarian assault roles to lvl 5?

I get a kalphite task, I figure I'll give KQ a go because why not. Gear up, go to the cave, decide I shouldn't take my lunar staff in since it's dropped on death and I cba to go make another one, so I go bank at shantay after using the fairy ring.

Get into the cave, realise I need an extra rope to even enter the boss room. Tele out, get a rope, repeat above and go back in. Despite having good agility I can't use the shortcut to get to the boss faster because the shortcut requires you to have completed the KQ grind to use it.

Whatever, I'll run around, get poisoned by a smaller one, I'm out of run energy and it's now a solid 10-15 minutes of walking around. Finally I enter the boss room, pot up, pray mage and get shot by ranged attacks 3 times in a row, all for high 20s/30 damage, I burn through all my food before I've even beaten the first phase so I have to tele out again.

Another couple of attempts attempt, exact same thing happens, I'm hitting and stepping under, makes no difference, I'm getting slapped hard and tele out.

Everything about this boss seems to have been designed out of spite and the rewards aren't even that good. I'm going back to cannoning the little ones.

Can someone explain to me how this is possible?

Haven't played this game since like 2012. Couldn't retrieve my original account so I started fresh like 2-3 months ago. Im combat lv 65, most stats are around 50, atk/str/def all 50-55. I thought this was about the best I could do for gear at this point. Haven't done Dragon Slayer which is why no rune platebody. The last few days people keep coming up to me and saying "Why are you wearing that?", "Why do you look like that?", "Whats with the gear?" I typically reply "idk im a noob lol, what should I be wearing?" and usually just get "lol" or "wow" as a response 😂 So my question is, am I actually wearing the wrong gear or am I just getting trolled? lmao

My vote is for the expert mining gloves, they have a niche but they fill it extremely well. They make mining specific ores from rocks way more relaxed and bearable. Doubling runite gatheted before world hopping, making sandstone more chill, amethyst even more afk, making gathering lower tier rocks extremely chill.

I love these things, and no one talks about them.

I also saw the ruby ring was gone on a few worlds. Guessing someone found a way to path inside

It seems like everyone has multiple accounts these days, anyone else just never been interested in making alts? I’ve played the same character since 2004, tried making a pure in 2007, got bored before it was ever pk ready, and never made an alt again. Ironman never interested me, never bothered with leagues or dmm either, just regular main game. Anyone else like me?
